Pendleton Recreation Association and Down Home Health DPC, with much support from the Town of Pendleton, are excited to host the 2nd Annual Town of Pendleton 5K and 1-mile fun run.  "Running of the Bulldogs" April 18, 2026 1 mile starts at 8:30 5K starts at 9:00 Same course as last year> Leaving from Veterans Park, we will run through Pendleton and end back at Veterans Park. We are pairing with Unity in the Community, and all runners are encouraged to hang out after the race for food, faith, and fellowship.  All proceeds from the race go to support our youth sports programs at Pendleton Recreation Association.

The 11th annual Golden Driller Marathon will be held on April 18, 2026. The Golden Driller marathon includes a race distance for all levels from 5k to marathon!  All races will be held on the very nice paved trails of Tulsa's Riverparks system along the banks of the Arkansas River.  The race gets it's name from the iconic Golden Driller statue located at EXPO Square in Tulsa.  For more details on this Tulsa icon visit https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Golden_Driller.   Each participant will receive a tech shirt with their entry, as well as a great custom finisher medal that features the Golden Driller.  This race is known for it's small size and friendly nature, as well as great post race food and beer for those 21 and over.  This is a great smaller marathon or half for those who want to avoid the crush of giant big city races.   The course is flat and fast, with the exception of one hill that appears on the marathon course.  All other courses are flat.  On-site parking at the

The Fourth Annual Hot Pursuit 5K Run/Walk & 1 Mile Catch-A-Cop will be held on Saturday, April 18 2026 ! This is a chip timed race starting and finishing at the Pickens County Airport along the taxiways and runway! The 1 mile Catch-A-Cop will be open to kids ages 5th grade (10 years old) and under. These participants will attempt to "catch a cop" and collect flags as they chase law enforcement officers down the runway. After the conclusion of their race, they will get into police cars and ride back to the race start area in a parade.  ALL PROCEEDS from this race will go towards purchasing a wheelchair accessible swing to be placed in Liberty, SC.  Youth Leadership Academy is charter middle school in Pickens, SC serving 300 students in grades 6-8. The Mosaic Color Run 5k is back for its 6th year and better than ever!  Proceeds benefit the arts and Historic Downtown Clinton’s mission of preservation and revitalization of the downtown area of Clinton Tennessee. Join us for the third annual Miles for Missions 5K, 10K, and 1 Mile Fun Run as we raise money for our church mission trip. This year we will be raising money to continue spreading the Gospel to the people of Japan! We will be going in October with Connect Church to share about who Jesus is, teach English, and encourage our missionaries who are in Japan daily.   If you would like to donate any extra funds, we would greatly appreciate it.  Thank you for your interest in our race! The BADWATER® ultra running experience returns to the Anza-Borrego Desert and Palomar Mountain when the thirteenth BADWATER SALTON SEA, presented by Mount to Coast, race takes place on April 18-19, 2026.   This remarkable event challenges teams of two or three ultrarunners – running together as duos or trios for the duration, NOT in a relay – to tackle an unimaginable traverse of Southern California deserts and mountains. The  route covers 81 miles (130km) from Salton City (elevation 234 feet / 71m below sea level) to Palomar Mountain, the almost tallest mountain in San Diego County (elevation 5500 feet / 1676m.)* Eight of the 81 race miles pass through Anza-Borrego State Park on a single track trail from Borrego Springs to Ranchita, creating a race route which is a mix of road and trail. Come join the fire community for a beautiful 14.5-mile trail run along Bullards Bar Reservoir. Hosted by the Tahoe Hotshots, the Hotshot Half Marathon is a fundraiser for fallen Firefighter and beloved friend Mike Kelly. The course is 95% single track with the remaining course being mostly fire roads. There will be 3 fully stocked aid stations hosted by local fire departments, Forest Service employees, and local Camptonville community members. There will be a taco truck at the finish line that accepts cash/cards. 100% of the money raised will go to the Wildland Firefighter Foundation.

Uniquely situated and completely surrounded by beautiful mountains, the city of Ojai holds the start of the Mountains 2 Beach Marathon while the half starts closer to the beach. This point to point race winds through the Ventura River Valley as it makes its way to the pristine beaches of the last great surf town in California, Ventura. Runners will love the gradual downhill nature of the race, which is prime to make you faster but not hurt the knees, and the amazing weather of the area. After a final tour of beach front Ventura, runners and their families are treated to a finish line party only steps away from the surf and the shops and restaurants of Historic Downtown Ventura. As a certified Boston Qualifier, the courses, the race and the surrounding communities make for the perfect destination marathon and half.

We support our students and directors by providing financial assistance, volunteer support, advocacy, and community engagement. The Good Fight 5k Run/Walk is a race that will be held on April 18, 2026 at Kereiakes Park in Bowling Green, KY. The event is held in memory of Vernon Long, who was an avid runner who passed from cancer in October 2021. This year, the event is also held in memory of Lacey Poppy, who after a valiant fight against cancer - passed in 2023. All proceeds from this event will be going to Life’s Better Together, Inc. and will be directly donated to support a family where someone is undergoing treatment for cancer. Your participation and support of this event not only helps the  family but shows reverence for all who are battling cancer. Our hope is that through this event, we can help those who are impacted find a community and not feel alone in fighting the good fight of cancer treatment.

The Seton Center 5K is hosted by the Center for Service at Mount St. Mary's University. The Seton Center is the primary non-profit agency serving people in the area of northern Frederick County, Maryland. The 35th Annual Breakfast Lions Club Tri-Fest 5K Run/Walk benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Henderson, KY will be on Saturday, April 18, 2026. This race will take place at Central Park downtown by the riverfront and start at 8am rain or shine!  This is a certified 5K race route with medals and awards given out after the race.  Pre-Registration bag includes a 35th Anniversary and 100th Home Limited Edition Tri-Fest 5K shirt, custom bib and swag bag full of additional goodies while supplies last. Come out and Run for Wellness on a beautiful Saturday at Hart Park. Run, walk, or crawl, everyone is welcome. Choose between 5k or the 1 mile. This event is open to the public but has special pricing for Kern High School District Staff and immediate family. (Please sign up by 4/6 to be guaranteed a t-shirt!) Join the Prince George's Running Club (PGRC) for Springburst's 39th year. The event will feature a 10K (6.2 mile) out and back course as well as a free kids one mile fun run.  For the first time in 2026, PGRC will include a virtual race option for our Springburst 10K.  Participants of the virtual race will have until Sunday, April 26, 2026 to complete the 10K.  The 10K race is part of the Maryland Road Runners Club of America  MDRRCA Race Series GrandPrix race series. Welcome back to the Makin' Hay 10K & 5K!  We can't wait to have you claim bragging rights after conquering one of these challenging but scenic courses on Saturday, April 18, 2026. The scenic and rolling 10K and 5k courses will take you on a journey through some of the prettiest farmland in Frederick County.  Spring will be ushering forth as you run past numerous farms; along beautiful Catoctin Creek on a gravel road, and across two, historic one-lane wooden deck bridges spanning Catoctin Creek. 5-year age group awards!!!
