Saturday, November 21st, 2026. The Summit Backyard Ultra is a backyard ultra that was previously hosted by Pursue Your Summit LLC. This is the first year that it will be operating under Perspective Pacing. The Summit LMS is a run under the backyard ultra format in which you must complete 4.17 miles within the hour on the hour until there is only one person left. The last person to complete a lap will be crowned the winner.  While every racer will get some cool swag, October 30th is the deadline to get a shirt. The Eagle 5000 Turkey Trot is a new race that puts a twist on the traditional Thanksgiving turkey trot. Entrants will run a full 5k on the track with athletes racing in heats based on their predicted finishing times. This event will be held on November 21st, 2026 on the track at Thomas Edison High School in Alexandria, VA. The race is in-person, rain or shine.   This event is all about bringing our community together to help raise money for the Thomas Edison Cross Country and Track and Field programs. Run across the Tennessee River on historic Wilson Dam and return on the Singing River Bridge. Course USATF Certified 10K Course: AL16012JE The 10K course begins at the Marriott Shoals Conference Center in Florence, AL, and proceeds across Wilson Dam and then onto a portion of the paved TVA nature trail. It continues back across the Tennessee River via the pedestrian walkway on the Singing River Bridge, and then a short distance through a residential area to the finish back at the conference center. ABOUT EL TOUR The 43rd El Tour de Tucson is now preparing to host one of the premier bicycling events in the country. It's time for The Captain's Runaround! For those not familiar with Captain’s, it is a timed race. Runners compete in 4-, 6-, or 8, or new for this year, 2 hour events to see how many miles they can complete. This year, we are back at Jacob Myers Park in Riverbank.  While the loop is just shy of 1 mile, it is a fantastic place to spend the day.  Embrace the short days of fall and take on Captain’s Runaround. The Davis Turkey Trot’s 2025 event will mark a thirty-seven year commitment from A Change of Pace to providing Yolo County with a fun, safe health-oriented event. Our goal is to have a giant party afterwards and we want to invite everyone. Our booth fees are meant to be affordable for small and local businesses as well as nonprofits.   The deadline to sign up to be a booth vendor, or to sponsor a company team, is November 15th.Tents, tablecloths and other items to be supplied by vendor and are not included. You can add on the rental of one 8’ table and two chairs to your booth reservation. Two-day adult sailing classes are offered most weekends from 9 am to 4 pm at Fiddler's Cove Marina. Classes are open to all eligible MWR patrons and sponsored guests. Minimum age requirement is 16 years or older with a parent or guardian.   **A minimum of 6 hours of sail time at the Intermediate level (Catalina Capri 22) is required post Intermediate sailing course.  Class fees per person vary by military affiliation and rank. Dependent fees are calculated at the sponsoring active duty or retiree rate. Pre-registration is required as classes can fill up quickly. Registration includes boat rental, instruction, and textbooks. Students per boat will be kept to the minimum amount possible in order to maximize learning potential, and will range from one to four. Number of students per boat is dependent on the boat size, sailing conditions and the skills being developed in the class. Miles for Migraine will host its 9th annual 2-mile Walk, 5K Run and Relax Los Angeles event on Saturday November 21st at Woodley Park. This event is a fundraiser for Migraine & Headache Awareness, Treatment & Research. It's more than a walk/run - come connect with your local migraine & headache community, listen to our speakers & visit sponsors in the festival area. The 5K run is professionally timed. Cross country season is coming to a close, and while only qualifiers are running at the state's season finale, you can join us for a romp through the Villanova campus. Whether you're a seasoned trail runner or just looking for a novel course to run, you will enjoy our unique course.   Our 3 mile XC course winds through the campus on 90% dirt, starting and finishing on the track. You will run through Shady Glen then head out to Archery Site where you dip into the Valley.  Running past Deer Hallow will bring you through the valley to Resurrection Hill. The race concludes with a rolling 3rd mile to the finish on the track.  Registration includes electronic timing, finisher medal, t-shirt and after race snacks.

The Lake Forest Chamber of Commerce's 9th Annual holiday FUN RUN 5K takes place in the stunning Lake Forest Sports Park on Saturday, November 21, 2026. How the Prediction Run Works Submit your estimated 5K finish time when registering. Instead of a single mass start, we use a countdown clock set to the slowest predicted time. Staggered Start: Slower runners start first, middle-of-the-pack runners follow, and the fastest runners start last. If everyone predicts perfectly, everyone finishes at the exact same time.The Blind Finish: Once the last runner starts, the clock is covered. You will not see the time as you approach the finish line, so you won't know whether to sprint or slow down.Gauge Your Strategy: Running completely alone late in the race means your prediction was off. The Waterford High School is hosting the 14th Annual 5K Turkey Trot Run/Walk on Saturday, November 21, 2026. The 5K race will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Great Neck School located at 165 Great Neck Road, Waterford. The race will be timed by Fast Track Timing LLC. Proceeds from this fun, community event will directly support whole school initiatives including prom, trips and scholarships.   Awards for top runners in each age group and a complimentary t-shirt will be given to all pre-registerd runners. The pre-registration cost is $40 and bib distribution will start at 8:45 am on race day. Pre-registration forms are being accepted now until November 19, 2026. We will be collecting donations for the Gemma Moran Food Pantry on race day.
