The 12th Annual Celebrate Sela: Race to Raise CDH Awareness 5K Run/Walk and Half Mile Fun Run is held in memory of Sela Marie Anderson. The 5K is for all ages and for all levels of "runners." The Fun Run is for ages 9 and under. Celebrate Sela will use proceeds from the event to fund research and treatment and raise awareness for congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) patients. To guarantee you have a shirt on race day, you MUST register online or by paper on or before WEDNESDAY, APRIL 1st, 2026. FURRY FUN RUN/WALK for PEOPLE and DOGS!

The Caving Cow 5K and Half Marathon

This race will take you on the trails of Cardwell Mountain located in McMinnville, Tn. You will traverse a trail of double and single track route with some rocks, roots and elevation. You will finish with a .88 out and back through the beautiful Cumberland Caverns Cave. You are going to want to be a part of this epic experience. We will offer 2 distances, 5K and Half Marathon.  Both races will begin in an open field and run to the trail (about .30 mile to the trail). You will need a headlamp as you will be going into the depths of the cave.  The 5k will be a single loop with 470 feet of gain. You will then run an out and back through the cave to the finish line. You will get a glow stick at the turn around point in the cave and carry this with you to the finish line.  The half marathon will consist of  5 loops of the single and double wide trail. Lily's House is a long-term substance abuse recovery home for mothers who are seeking a better life for themselves and their children.  We will run in Adrian Park with beautiful lake views and back-in-time through antique Frontier Village, Adrain Missouri. The Annual Mizzou Ophthalmology 5K Run/Walk will be hosted by the University of Missouri’s Ophthalmology Department to support MedZou’s free clinic for underserved patients in Columbia, Missouri. THE CPT DREW RUSSELL Warrior RUN IS GOING TO HAVE A "LIVE" AND VIRTUAL RACE FOR 2026 About This Event: This 5K Run/Walk is in memory of Captain Drew Russell, a WMU ROTC alumni. He was Killed-In-Action in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan on October 8, 2011. As an active member within his community of Scotts, Michigan and a 2004 graduate of Vicksburg High School, he is remembered as a stand-up man who was always looking out for his friends and family with a great sense of humor. After earning his commission as a Second Lieutenant in Armor through Western Michigan University’s ROTC Program, he was stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado to carry out his time as an active duty Armor officer. Captain Russell was posthumously awarded the Bronze Star Medal and the Purple Heart for his actions in battle. He was survived by his mother, Patti, his father, Jim and his brother, James. In Captain Russell’s remembrance, an endowed scholarship was established for Western Michigan University students
