The 12th Annual Celebrate Sela: Race to Raise CDH Awareness 5K Run/Walk and Half Mile Fun Run is held in memory of Sela Marie Anderson. The 5K is for all ages and for all levels of "runners." The Fun Run is for ages 9 and under. Celebrate Sela will use proceeds from the event to fund research and treatment and raise awareness for congenital diaphragmatic hernia (CDH) patients. To guarantee you have a shirt on race day, you MUST register online or by paper on or before WEDNESDAY, APRIL 1st, 2026. On Saturday, April 18th, Omega Phi Alpha is hosting our third annual 5K event (O-5-K) on and around the BU brain to raise money and support for Mental Health and Suicide Awareness. O-5-K will start at the front of University Union at 11 AM. This year's theme is "Love Grows Where OPhiA Goes!” This theme represents individuals and our never-ending growth as people, especially in areas of mental health. Join us for the 18th Annual Furry Fun Run, a Run/Walk for people AND dogs! This great fundraiser to benefit Peppertree Rescue will take place at the Warming Hut off the scenic Avenue of the Pines in Saratoga State Park on Saturday April 18th!  The Furry Fun Run was the first 5k in the area to welcome dogs, and it is a do-not-miss event! If you are not up for running, we welcome walkers too! Windmill Island Gardens' Run of the Mill is back for 2026, and we can't wait to see you at our annual 5K fun-run! This year's Run of the Mill event will take place on Saturday, April 18, where proceeds will continue to support future programs and the ongoing maintenance that helps keep Windmill Island Gardens so beautiful! The Run of the Mill 5k course will take you around the island itself and then head out to Window on the Waterfront before looping back to the island towards the finish line. The 44th edition of this most affordable walk/run in the 4-State area, the Dogwood Run 5K has been held annually in Neosho, Missouri since Eldon Morgan, a Neosho native and late Joplin RoadRunner, first hosted it in 1983. 5th Annual Run for Recovery - Anderson   Hosted by The Bridge Center Recovery.   ABOUT:  The Bridge Center Recovery is a treatment facility for men seeking freedom from drug and alcohol addiction. We are located on West Whitner Street in Anderson, SC. The Bridge Center has been operating since August of 2020, and has helped over 300 men in an official capacity to date.    PROCEEDS: Race proceeds go back to our Scholarship Fund to financially assist men through our program. The current cost is $4,000 for 4 months. This race will take you on the trails of Cardwell Mountain located in McMinnville, Tn. You will traverse a trail of double and single track route with some rocks, roots and elevation. You will finish with a .88 out and back through the beautiful Cumberland Caverns Cave. You are going to want to be a part of this epic experience. We will offer 2 distances, 5K and Half Marathon.  Both races will begin in an open field and run to the trail (about .30 mile to the trail). You will need a headlamp as you will be going into the depths of the cave.  The 5k will be a single loop with 470 feet of gain. You will then run an out and back through the cave to the finish line. You will get a glow stick at the turn around point in the cave and carry this with you to the finish line.  The half marathon will consist of  5 loops of the single and double wide trail. Join us for the Color Outside with Brown School 5K Color Run — a fun, vibrant 5-kilometer race on Saturday, April 18, 2026 at Central Park, Schenectady (500 Iroquois Way, Schenectady, NY). This family-friendly event, hosted by Brown School, is open to students, parents, faculty, alumni, and our local community and offers a perfect mix of fitness, color-splash fun, and spring celebration. Participants are welcome to run or walk the course, and walkers, strollers, and leashed dogs are welcome to join in the fun. Along the course, volunteers will toss colored chalk powder into the air as runners pass through designated color zones. The powder is non-toxic, environmentally safe, and washable, but be prepared — you will get colorful! Come celebrate community, movement, and a little bit of messy fun with us!

Join us in our 5th annual Lily's House 5k! Lily's House is a long-term substance abuse recovery home for mothers who are seeking a better life for themselves and their children.  We will run in Adrian Park with beautiful lake views and back-in-time through antique Frontier Village, Adrain Missouri. Course will be paved and gravel surfaces with small inclines.  We will have one hydration station at the halfway point.   Awards for 1st female and male finisher, medal for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd age group finishers.  Be sure to stick around for the finish line festivities to include hot coffee, water, pastries, bananas (of course), music and fun!   Kids 1 mile fun run will be prior to 5k, registration not required for kids race.  Strollers and pets are welcome, but will be asked to start at the back of the race.  Pets must be on a leash at all time while in the parks.  Adrian fire department will be there for the kids to see the big fire trucks!  Prizes for 1st boy and 1st girl.   Sign u

Chadwick School Foundation 15th Annual 5k April 18th  Race will start at 9am! The 15th Annual 5K Walk/Run will be held at the Chadwick High School Parking lot 7090 MO-125 Chadwick MO 65629.  Medals will be presented to top finishers in each age division. 5K Age Divisions: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60-60, and then 70 & up. The 2026 Cardinals 5K returns to celebrate the career of Joe Torre! This year's 5K will offer both an In-Person and Virtual format, allowing Cardinals fans across the world the chance to run, jog or walk the race. The Annual Mizzou Ophthalmology 5K Run/Walk will be hosted by the University of Missouri’s Ophthalmology Department to support MedZou’s free clinic for underserved patients in Columbia, Missouri. The event is set to take place at Twin Lakes Recreation Area at the Twin Lakes Shelter on Sunday, April 18th, at 10:00 am. Participants are encouraged to arrive by 9:30 am for check-in. THE CPT DREW RUSSELL Warrior RUN IS GOING TO HAVE A "LIVE" AND VIRTUAL RACE FOR 2026 About This Event: This 5K Run/Walk is in memory of Captain Drew Russell, a WMU ROTC alumni. He was Killed-In-Action in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan on October 8, 2011. As an active member within his community of Scotts, Michigan and a 2004 graduate of Vicksburg High School, he is remembered as a stand-up man who was always looking out for his friends and family with a great sense of humor. After earning his commission as a Second Lieutenant in Armor through Western Michigan University’s ROTC Program, he was stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado to carry out his time as an active duty Armor officer. Captain Russell was posthumously awarded the Bronze Star Medal and the Purple Heart for his actions in battle. He was survived by his mother, Patti, his father, Jim and his brother, James. In Captain Russell’s remembrance, an endowed scholarship was established for Western Michigan University students
