Join us for the 51st Running of the Paul Mailman 10 Miler and 5k Saturday, April 18, 2026   Start for both races: 8:45 a.m. Both races will have a limit on the total entries accepted:      100 maximum for the 10 Miler       50 maximum for the 5K. Entry fees: $20 for the 10 Miler.                      $15 for the 5k. ONLINE pre-registration only. There will be NO RACE DAY REGISTRATION. Registration for both races closes at midnight on April 16, 2026. Please note: No strollers or dogs are permitted in either race. The Paul Mailman 10 miler and 5k start and finish at Montpelier High School. Parking is at the school, and the races begin and end on the track. The '89er 5K is hosted by the cadets in the '89er Battalion, Guthrie High School JROTC. The Guthrie JROTC program is the first JROTC program in the State of Oklahoma, dating back to 1935. All proceeds raised and charitable contributions collected will be used to benefit the “NOAC Geared to HEAR Fund” which was created by local Doctorate of Audiology students in order to provide hearing aids and hearing healthcare for an Akron community member in need. The NOAC Geared to HEAR fund covers the entire cost of a new set of hearing aids and all of the associated care that this community member would need in relation to their hearing in one year.

Cargo Ranch will be hosting the 11th Annual Cargo Classic on April 18th at 8:00 am. Outpace Cancer is a 10K/5K race and one-mile walk in Oklahoma City hosted by OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center. This family-friendly event helps create community and support for those fighting cancer and their support systems. After the race, you can enjoy the best post-race party – the Bring Your Pace Bash. If you are unable to join us in OKC, you can participate in the virtual option. All virtual runners will have the opportunity to receive the same exclusive items (t-shirt, medal, bracelets) as in-person runners. Windmill Island Gardens' Run of the Mill is back for 2026, and we can't wait to see you at our annual 5K fun-run! This year's Run of the Mill event will take place on Saturday, April 18, where proceeds will continue to support future programs and the ongoing maintenance that helps keep Windmill Island Gardens so beautiful! The Run of the Mill 5k course will take you around the island itself and then head out to Window on the Waterfront before looping back to the island towards the finish line. Westerville Habitat Partnership (WHP) is a non-profit organization composed of members of our group of churches, organizations and local individuals who support Habitat for Humanity of Delaware and Union Counties by putting on fundraisers, special events, and by partnering in walls builds for local Habitat for Humanity homes.  We are excited to add the Hustle for Habitat 5K to our annual events calendar. The Good Fight 5k Run/Walk is a race that will be held on April 18, 2026 at Kereiakes Park in Bowling Green, KY. The event is held in memory of Vernon Long, who was an avid runner who passed from cancer in October 2021. This year, the event is also held in memory of Lacey Poppy, who after a valiant fight against cancer - passed in 2023. All proceeds from this event will be going to Life’s Better Together, Inc. and will be directly donated to support a family where someone is undergoing treatment for cancer. Your participation and support of this event not only helps the  family but shows reverence for all who are battling cancer. Our hope is that through this event, we can help those who are impacted find a community and not feel alone in fighting the good fight of cancer treatment.
