Have you ever wanted to try a triathalon and didn't know where to start?  This is a great opportunity for beginners and even kids to see what they are made of.  It can also be a great tool for experienced athletes to test their training or prepare for the next event.  Join us Saturday, April 18th for a fun day and to challenge yourself in this completely indoor race.  A relay option is also available if you are a parent that wants to compete with their child or a group of two or three people that just want to do one or two events each. Springfest 5K Run/2 Mile Walk

The race will be run partly on a city street and mostly on an asphalt trail. It will start and finish on N 5th Street just north of the YMCA, at the intersection with N 6th Avenue. We will be using the north parking lot of the YMCA. There is also plenty of parking across Kennedy Drive at Meadowview Center. Restrooms will be available at the YMCA. Participants need to wear their bib numbers on the front and have them visible when entering the start area and when coming to the finish line. If you sign up for the walk, you must walk the entire distance. No running, no sprinting to the finish line. Bottled water and pre-wrapped snacks such as granola bars and bananas will be available at the finish. All participants will receive a finisher’s award. This is the 15th Isaiah 40:31 Run hosted by the Upper School Student Council to raise funds for our gift to the school. In past years, we have been able to purchase a permanently mounted sound system for our gym, over 300 chairs and the racks for storing them, a portable stage, and a portable sound system for our Praise and Worship Team. This year, we would like to put our profits towards the purchase of a digital sign that would be located on our property next to Highway 421. All runners who enter either the certified 5K race or the 1-Mile Color Run will receive a t-shirt. We are located on West Whitner Street in Anderson, SC. Running on Kindness 5K for Autism Awareness

This is our second Running on Kindness 5K for Autism Awareness.   Although the event is hosted at Pilla Middle School, all district schools and our community have come together to create this special event to spread awareness and promote acceptance.   All proceeds will be returned to our community and benefit Pilla Project Unity (a club dedicated to creating social interactions among students of all abilities while giving back to the community), Educators 4 Autism (a local nonprofit organization), and Project Lifesaver (providing local children with GPS tracking devices).   The entire race take place on the grounds of Pilla Middle School.  The terrain is mostly paved surfaces but also includes grassy and dirt areas in the field behind the school.  The course is jogging stroller friendly as long as it can handle the terrain mentioned above.   Register for the 5K by 3/29 and run away with a race tee and finisher medal!   Register for the 1-mile by 3/29 and receive a race tee!   Awards wi

Our third annual TUWT X HOMEWARD BOUND 5K! Location: Cooper River at the track! Check in begins at 9:30AM.  We will begin the event at 10AM beginning with introducing the 10+ adoptable dogs on site. You will hear their story and hopefully fall in love and adopt or foster! After the dog introductions, we will take a group photo which I forget every year so someone please remind me.
