The Waterford High School is hosting the 14th Annual 5K Turkey Trot Run/Walk on Saturday, November 21, 2026. The 5K race will begin at 9:30 a.m. at Great Neck School located at 165 Great Neck Road, Waterford. The race will be timed by Fast Track Timing LLC. Proceeds from this fun, community event will directly support whole school initiatives including prom, trips and scholarships.   Awards for top runners in each age group and a complimentary t-shirt will be given to all pre-registerd runners. The pre-registration cost is $40 and bib distribution will start at 8:45 am on race day. Pre-registration forms are being accepted now until November 19, 2026. We will be collecting donations for the Gemma Moran Food Pantry on race day. Items needed include: shelf-stable microwable meals, oatmeal, ramen, mac and cheese, peanut butter, pasta and sauce, cereal, canned fruit and veggies, soup, rice, dry beans, and shelf-stable milk.

The Empowered Master's Commission GOBBLE WOBBLE is a race that is done wherever you want! It will take place on Nov 21, 2026, starting at 8 AM. You can complete this race on a treadmill, by a lake, a running trail, down your street, with a group, or by yourself. The only rule is you have to move. After completing your distance of 5k, 10k, or 15k, you will send in your time result and see how you placed in the competition. This event runs on most of Tybee Island, GA providing unmatched scenic route with coastal breezes and salt air. Starting in front of Fort Screven on Meddin Drive directly across from the Lighthouse. They don't get much flatter than this course and very scenic encompassing views of Historic Fort Screven, The Tybee Lighthouse, Jaycee Park, Officers row, The Pier, South Beach, The Back River, several areas of Salt marsh with crossing Tidal creeks and going through Memorial Park. November weather is great to run a Half Marathon on Tybee. Come early and spend the weekend! A Chip timed event with a finisher medal and Technical T-shirt. Parking is available at the North Beach lot for this event and we encourage participants to buy a parking pass with race registration. The Foundation is managed by a 12-member board of trustees who meets monthly. Since 2006, the Bulloch County Foundation for Public Education has funded more than 320 innovative classroom teacher grants totaling more than $406,087 to provide learning experiences for Bulloch County children. The Foundation’s two major fundraising campaigns are the Statesboro 5K Turkey Trot, donations, and Bulloch County Schools’ Payroll deduction option for employees. Join the running community of Aurora for the 5th Annual Tom-A-Hawk Turkey Trot on a flat and fast course along the Fox River. All proceeds benefit the Aurora East Educational Foundation and A + Foundation for West Aurora Schools in their support of students of both the East and West Aurora School Districts. The USOLE November Trail Challenge *The Ryan & Katie Flynn 8 Mile (2 loop Course)* We will offer an option to race one loop with a 4 mile distance (1-loop) November 21, 2026 @ 10AM Trail running has always been in our USOLE DNA! We were the first running store in Chicago to bring trail racing to the Chicago running community. These trail races are great courses for folks wanting to get off the roads and enjoy some of our beautiful trails, but not have to be an expert trail runner to get to the finish. Our trail races are very laid back and great fun for the entire family, making it fun & easy for all! The USOLE Trail Challenge is great for people of all ages and all abilities looking to change up the running routine and get “off” the roads! Trail Race Location: We will be headed back to Wolf Road Woods, part of the Palos Trail System to tackle our legendary USOLE 4 mile course (will do this loop twice for the 8 mile race). We will offer runners who don't want to go 8 miles a chance to compete in the ONE loop, 4 mile trail race if they choose. This course will have a great mix of double & single track along with undulating terrain in the beautiful Wolf Road Woods! It may have a small hill or two to climb as well, but fun will always be had! USOLE Trail Challenge races are a great way to see the trails, get your long run and enjoy camaraderie with your trail running friends!

This family-friendly Gobble Wobble (Run/Walk event) begins and ends at the Mercer County Health Department and will be on the streets of Aledo, IL. All ages and abilities are welcome. The first mile begins with a couple of hills, then a slight grade turns into a flat course to the end. Every registered participant will receive an event t-shirt along with RFID chip-timing results online. Water stations will be provided on the course, and snacks and beverages will be provided at the finish. Proceeds benefit the Mercer County Health Department Client Assistance Fund, which helps us meet a wide variety of needs for individuals and families in our community. From removing barriers to essential services to helping with unexpected needs, this fund allows us to step in when a little extra support can make a big difference.
