The Coming Clean 5k is held yearly by West Florida Baptist Church. This event was created to help raise awareness for Coming Clean Recovery (CCR), a free, faith-based, addiction recovery program. CCR uses the proven 12 step recovery method and the truths found in God's word to usher in a life of freedom from addictive behaviors and substances. 100% of the profits from the race go to support WFBC's Coming Clean Recovery Program.

This is an out and back Run / Walk 5K / 10K course along A1A, this is a non-scored event!  We will have a finish line clock at the end, each participant will received a club T-Shirt, Finisher Medal and Signature bib.  Make sure to register yourselves as well as any students that will be returning back to school! Get inspired by some truly great racers: the Triple Crown Trot 5K is a chip-timed road race* that gives you a behind-the-scenes look at world-famous Ashford Stud, home of Triple Crown champions American Pharoah and Justify. Your race route runs entirely inside of Ashford Stud, taking you from the historic office and stallion barn to the foaling barn and beyond. The Triathlon begins in the Town of Oyster Bay and takes you through surrounding towns. It begins with a 1/2 mile swim in calm Oyster Bay Harbor. Next, you will bike a one loop 12.3K, over hill and dale, thru beautiful Oyster Bay and Oyster Bay Cove. Fairly hilly but downhill and flat to the finish. Lastly, you will run a 5K thru Mill Neck and Brookville, "Up" to the Planting Fields Arboretum and back "Down" to Roosevelt Park. Town of Oyster Bay residents receive a $5 discount. Use code TOB5 at checkout. Shirts and a custom finisher medal for all participants! You are not guaranteed swag if you register after August 18th. The Junior Triathlon takes place on Saturday.  This year the race offers two different distances for our youth participants!  Swim in Oyster Bay Harbor and bike and run through Roosevelt Park.

Our annual 5K/10K Run or Walk to Support Higher-Ed in Uganda We'll be returning to Family Worship Center for the start and finish of this year's 5K/10K.  Our event will take place on August 22nd from 8–11am. Route: The course follows the Highland Canal, beginning at Clarkson Street and heading north to Orchard. This is a wide crushed gravel trail with both sun exposed and shaded areas.  Why We Run or Walk: One of the ways True Impact and our partners in Uganda are committed to helping our students become independent adults is by offering access to the best education possible. Your participation helps eliminate generational poverty. ALL proceeds from this event support our students enrolled in upper Secondary, Vocational, University levels of education through Susies Higher Ed Fund: As our students pursue these programs, costs rise. This fund help offset tuition, supplies, and other educational expenses.

Enjoy an early morning 10k, 5k or 1k run followed by brews at the NEW Katy Beer Garden in Katy, Texas. All runners will receive an event shirt and medal. The 18th Annual Race Montana Triathlon and Duathlon is scheduled for Saturday, Aufust 22nd, 2026, at the Electric City Water Park in Great Falls, Montana.The Race Montana Triathlon Sprint Distance event will start at 7:00 am.  The event features a 500-meter snake swim in the Electric City Water Park 50-meter pool.  The Bike portion will be 12.2 miles, with the first 5 miles and last 6 miles being relatively flat.  Mile 6 is a steady climb to the turnaround.  The run will be a fast and flat 3.1 miles.  If you do not want to compete in all three events, get some friends together and compete as a team.  Team racers will start the event with individual racers based on the anticipated 500-meter swim time. A full gas assault on Luton Park to determine the true KOM or QOM to benefit the Pitt Hopkins Research Foundation (PHRF) The race course at Luton Park will feature an approximately 8-mile loop of single track.  (Expert/Elite - 3 laps, Sport 2 laps, and beginner 1 lap)  It is a hard-packed, fast course with some technical sections and moderate climbs. Passing will be easily achieved in several areas.   This is a time trial, and start times are based on the date and time you register and category, so register early for the best starting position.

Can you survive the Death by 5k Challenge?  Ten 5ks in 24 hours. The first 5k starts at 8 am and subsequent 5ks start every 2.5 hours.  5k start times are as follows: 8 am, 1030 am, 1 pm, 330 pm, 6 pm, 830 pm, 11 pm, 130 am, 4 am, 630 am. The final 5k must be completed by 8 am on Sunday.  The event will take place at the RunStrong Training Center and the 5k course will be the same for each leg, starting and ending at the Training Center. Runners may rest or sleep inside their vehicles in between 5ks, or can go home if they live close enough to the event location. There is also a green space where tents can be placed.  There will be 5 meals, each including hot food, served over the course of the event. Meal times will be 830a, 130p, 630p, 1130p, and 420a. Our 5th annual Night of Hope will take place on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at the Westerville North High School Cross Country Course and McCann Stadium. The evening will feature 5K and 1 Mile races on the Westerville North Cross Country Course, and Family Fun Run around the track. The evening will promote mental health awareness and celebrate the lives of those we've lost to suicide. The evening will also feature Mental Health partners who will have information on their services and resources. This year, our Top Overall Male, Female and Non-Binary finisher will receive an award! All the money raised at the event will go directly towards supporting Westerville Education Challenge's initiatives in Westerville City Schools including: Hope Squad (at all high schools & middle schools), RoX, WEB (Where Everyone Belongs), Twinkle's Care, student scholarships, and Parent Prep. A 4 mile trail race within the confines of the Schenectady Central Park trail system. 100% of the proceeds will go to Second Chances Recovery Services. This trail race will be an open time trial format.  Runners will be able to start their timed lap any time between 8 and 11AM, with the course closing at 12 PM.   This is in honor of Ellen Wisnoski, our beloved sister who lost her battle with addiction in September of 2024. Join us for a beautiful day on the trails, and honor Ellen’s legacy by helping those in need.   A guided yoga/stretching session will be available pre-race, with post race refreshments at the finish line.

Youth Triathlon with age appropriate distances for kids 14 and under. The entire event is contained within Hawk Island Park. The swim is within the pre-set Hawk Island Park swim area with the ability to touch the bottom and with lifeguards present. (Accepting the Challenge of Excellence) Award and the Greater Old Saybrook Chamber C. Wilfred Hunter Memorial Scholarship for deserving college bound seniors from Old Saybrook and Westbrook High Schools. START TIME CHANGE: The Community Center is booked for an indoor event with doors opening at 9, so our race will start at 7:30 so that we can have the area cleared. Join us for our first ever Woodburn Fall Event 5k run/walk. The 5k course runs through Woodburn's pastoral rural surroundings and proceeds through its quaint downtown. Parents will be interested to know that there is also a free 1k run/walk for children under 10 years old. Check-in time is 8:00AM EST, at the Woodburn Community Center. Runners are invited to participate in the other activities of the Woodburn Fall Event such as the BF Goodrich car show, a presentation of National Guard vehicles, a bouncy house, facepainting, and a balloon artist.
