Beginner Sailing: April 18 & 19

Two-day adult sailing classes are offered most weekends from 9 am to 4 pm at Fiddler's Cove Marina. Classes are open to all eligible MWR patrons and sponsored guests. Minimum age requirement is 16 years or older with a parent or guardian. Class fees per person vary by military affiliation and rank. Dependent fees are calculated at the sponsoring active duty or retiree rate. Pre-registration is required as classes can fill up quickly. Registration includes boat rental, instruction, and textbooks. Students per boat will be kept to the minimum amount possible in order to maximize learning potential and will range from one to four. Number of students per boat is dependent on the boat size, sailing conditions and the skills being developed in the class. Big steps, little feet, sweet impact! Join local non-profit organization HONEY Bags Inc. at 9 AM on Saturday, April 18th for a 5k in Pleasant Valley with your family and friends.
