The color purple symbolizes a combination of all branches of the military- Air Force blue, Army green, Navy blue, Marine red, and Coast Guard blue. Purple Up! Day is a special day set aside for all to wear purple to support and thank military children in the community and around the world. The LCpl Noah Lippeatt 3:16 Challenge is modeled after the United States Marine Corps Physical Fitness Test, combining strength and endurance through 3 core challenges, push ups, sit ups, and planks, while running 3.16 miles.​​​​ The challenge is designed for 3.16 miles to represent John 3:16, a core belief LCpl Noah Lippeatt carried and shared with others throughout his life. All proceeds from this event will go towards the Noah Lippeatt Foundation, which raises money for Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS), care packages, as well as uplifting activities for the Marines Stationed with Guard Company. This is all in honor of LCpl Noah Lippeatt, who passed on June 16, 2024. You will receive a specially designed race T-shirt and a race challenge coin if registered by March 16, 2026. Top 3 finishers in the competitive divisions (male and female) will receive a custom challenge coin.

Named after the Roman goddess of fairness, AEquitas was established to support prosecutors in their individual and collective efforts to achieve justice in intimate partner violence, sexual violence, stalking, and human trafficking. Since 2009, AEquitas has been helping prosecutors and the multidisciplinary professionals with whom they partner keep victims safe and hold offenders accountable. The 2026 AEquitas Just Champions Relay Marathon is a totally virtual event, and all proceeds go to AEquitas' work to bring survivor-centered justice and safety to victims of intimate partner violence, sexual violence, stalking, and human trafficking. Channel your inner equine: Race eight furlongs on a smooth, packed surface.  The fourth annual edition of the Bluegrass Mile provides runners of all abilities a unique opportunity to cover 5,280 feet on the dirt track at Red Mile. Whether you're looking for a competitive mile or a community walk, all are welcome to join us for an evening on the track. Mark was four years old when his life suddenly ended in a boating accident on August 11, 2007. Mark loved his family, his friends, and embraced life by enjoying all that he did. His zest for life shined through his smile and giggle. Mark's parents vowed to keep his spirit alive by enriching the lives of other children. His family and friends miss him dearly. Join Tuscaloosa County Park & Recreation Authority (PARA), Tuscaloosa Tourism & Sports (Visit Tuscaloosa), and the Alabama Marines Foundation for the fifth annual Tuscaloosa Gauntlet obstacle course race, Saturday, April 18, 2026. The race features 20+ obstacles, including a Marine regulation O-Course.  Whether you're a competitive racer or just getting started, the course will provide a challenge worth celebrating! Competitive, open, and team heats are available, as well as a kids race. This year, we will feature kids race on Friday evening, April 17, during packet pickup.  This will be family night with food trucks and fun for the entire family! The 5k is a winding course moving primarily over ski trail this is a perfect course for people looking to dip their foot into trail racing or reminisce on their high school cross country days! The Fourth Annual Hot Pursuit 5K Run/Walk & 1 Mile Catch-A-Cop will be held on Saturday, April 18 2026 ! This is a chip timed race starting and finishing at the Pickens County Airport along the taxiways and runway! The 1 mile Catch-A-Cop will be open to kids ages 5th grade (10 years old) and under. These participants will attempt to "catch a cop" and collect flags as they chase law enforcement officers down the runway. After the conclusion of their race, they will get into police cars and ride back to the race start area in a parade.  ALL PROCEEDS from this race will go towards purchasing a wheelchair accessible swing to be placed in Liberty, SC.  Youth Leadership Academy is charter middle school in Pickens, SC serving 300 students in grades 6-8. We are thrilled to announce the 14th annual Yuengling Light Lager Jogger 5k! The race will take place on Saturday, April 18, 2026. Join us for the only race that starts and finishes at America's oldest brewery!  The race will kick off at 9am and the post-race block party will wrap up at 1pm. The deadline to apply for a vendor space is March 1, 2026. We recommend applying early as spaces to fill quickly. The vendor registration will be capped at 50 due to available space.  Due to the overwhelming increase in vendor requests and limited space, we have moved to an application process. Middle Creek Valley Council of Churches is hosting along side McClure Annual Bacon fest. We are a nonprofit organization based in western Snyder County. We regularly plan and hold community serves events and conduct or assist with fundraisers when there is a need within the community. We currently provide service such as travel expenses for local citizens to receive medical treatments, rent or other household expenses for those who have found themselves in difficult situations, among many other services. We are hosting this 5k so we can continue to supply these services to our local community.

Haverford Twilight 5K Run & Walk WHAT:  The Twilight Run is a signature event sponsored by the Haverford Township School District Education Foundation. Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish. Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable to other races. High School: We also welcome our high school runners! The event includes a 1/2 Marathon run and a 5K run/walk.  The 5K also provides an opportunity for families and people with pets to participate. Both are held on the Yough River Trail of the Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) which provides a flat, fast, crushed limestone surface. Medals are given in both races.  Please note that medals not claimed on race day will be discarded. Pacers from Marathon Pacing will participate in the 1/2 Marathon. The Mon Yough Trail Council (MYTC) hosts this race.  It raises necessary funds for trail maintenance and upkeep throughout the year. The MYTC is one of a network of all-volunteer trail councils that exist along the GAP specifically to keep the trail open and accessible for all.

This family-friendly event, which will take place at Lebanon Valley College on Saturday, April 18th, 2026, is a fundraiser for Covenant House Pennsylvania, an organization providing services for young adults experiencing homelessness. Cargo Ranch will be hosting the 11th Annual Cargo Classic on April 18th at 8:00 am. The run will happen at the Cargo Ranch, 4 miles NW of Shawnee, located at 8895 Coker Rd Shawnee, OK.  The 5k will be run on a USATF certified course there will also be a 1 Mile Run or Walk.  After the run, all the runners are served a hot breakfast as the awards are given out.  If you sign up by April 3rd you can take advantage of the early bird pricing of $30 for the 1 Mile Donut Dash and $35 for the 5k, and get a guaranteed shirt in your size.   About Cargo Ranch: Cargo Ranch is a mentorship program for youth in our community that have struggles or obstacles in their lives that make day to day living more difficult. Do you enjoy running in charitable events that benefit the local community?  Do you like a challenging road race?  Or do you like an easy stroll?  If you've said yes to any one of these, then our event is one you need to do!  Please join us for the Kirk Rd Krusher 10K and McLean Mile and 5K hosted by Run Oregon, an event for the entire family!  This road race is a FUN run/walk designed to create an environment that promotes physical fitness.  A portion of the proceeds generated from this event will be donated directly to the Weston Food Pantry, the named beneficiary for this inaugural fun run.  This event will be manually timed, our primary goal is to create a fun experience for runners/walkers and raise funds for the local food pantry. The Weston Food Pantry is open for anyone who is food insecure twice each month.  The Weston Food Pantry helps anyone who comes to the pantry and says that they need food, in December they served 100 families who needed food!  The Weston Food Pantry

Outpace Cancer is a 10K/5K race and one-mile walk in Oklahoma City hosted by OU Health Stephenson Cancer Center. This family-friendly event helps create community and support for those fighting cancer and their support systems. After the race, you can enjoy the best post-race party – the Bring Your Pace Bash. If you are unable to join us in OKC, you can participate in the virtual option. All virtual runners will have the opportunity to receive the same exclusive items (t-shirt, medal, bracelets) as in-person runners. You can upload your time following your run to the registration website to be included on the leaderboard. (Strollers are welcome. No bicycles or electric scooters allowed. Join us for Run Fest at Panorama Farms, a one-of-a-kind running festival combining trail racing, team relays, local brews, live music, and community celebration at the iconic Panorama Farms. Designed for runners of all levels, Run Fest offers multiple ways to participate: a scenic 4-mile trail race, a fast and fun 4×1-mile relay, and the 1-mile Fun One, a low-pressure option for runners, walkers, dogs, and children. Participants can choose one event - or tackle all three - for a full day of movement and celebration.
