Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish. Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable. Online Early Bird registration increases three weeks prior to the first race event.  Challenger: This Series offers a Challenger Division which is an adaptive 75 yard race for children with disabilities and/or special needs. This allows for parents, siblings, and friends to be on the course with runners to provide support as well as bringing their own supportive devices such as crutches, brace

Join Tuscaloosa County Park & Recreation Authority (PARA), Tuscaloosa Tourism & Sports (Visit Tuscaloosa), and the Alabama Marines Foundation for the fifth annual Tuscaloosa Gauntlet obstacle course race, Saturday, April 18, 2026. The race features 20+ obstacles, including a Marine regulation O-Course.  Whether you're a competitive racer or just getting started, the course will provide a challenge worth celebrating! Channel your inner equine: Race eight furlongs on a smooth, packed surface.  The fourth annual edition of the Bluegrass Mile provides runners of all abilities a unique opportunity to cover 5,280 feet on the dirt track at Red Mile. Whether you're looking for a competitive mile or a community walk, all are welcome to join us for an evening on the track. We will also be introducing a 5k for 2026! 5k participants will experience the iconic Red Mile race track, and then exit the track for a short out and back before returning to the track, and running a lap of the inner circuit too!The number of sign ups for the mile will determine how many heats we will seed runners into. The LCpl Noah Lippeatt 3:16 Challenge is modeled after the United States Marine Corps Physical Fitness Test, combining strength and endurance through 3 core challenges, push ups, sit ups, and planks, while running 3.16 miles.​​​​ The challenge is designed for 3.16 miles to represent John 3:16, a core belief LCpl Noah Lippeatt carried and shared with others throughout his life. All proceeds from this event will go towards the Noah Lippeatt Foundation, which raises money for Navy-Marine Corps Relief Society (NMCRS), care packages, as well as uplifting activities for the Marines Stationed with Guard Company. This is all in honor of LCpl Noah Lippeatt, who passed on June 16, 2024. You will receive a specially designed race T-shirt and a race challenge coin if registered by March 16, 2026. Top 3 finishers in the competitive divisions (male and female) will receive a custom challenge coin.

The mission of Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) of Hidalgo County is to advocate for the best interests of children in the foster care system by promoting and supporting quality volunteer representation—ensuring every child has the opportunity to grow up in a safe, permanent, and nurturing home. In Hidalgo County, the need for CASA is significant. During fiscal year 2024–2025, 2,086 children experienced foster care. CASA volunteers served 246 children, representing only 8.5% of those who needed a dedicated voice in court. With community support, we can reach more children who deserve advocacy and stability. The 15th Annual Glow Blue for CASA 5K Fun Run/Walk is an evening event held in recognition of Child Abuse Prevention Awareness Month. To get people listening, learning, and talking, Walk a Mile in Their Shoes education Events organize around men literally walking one mile in women's high-heeled shoes. It's not easy walking in these shoes, but it's an experience around which a lot of education, self-reflection, and change happens. It's impressive to see such a visually stunning public statement of listening, learning, allyship, and commitment.

Inaugural Paris-Bourbon County YMCA Indoor Triathalon! Have you ever wanted to try a triathalon and didn't know where to start?  This is a great opportunity for beginners and even kids to see what they are made of.  It can also be a great tool for experienced athletes to test their training or prepare for the next event.  Join us Saturday, April 18th for a fun day and to challenge yourself in this completely indoor race.  A relay option is also available if you are a parent that wants to compete with their child or a group of two or three people that just want to do one or two events each. Kids ages 7 - 13 will be able to compete but will run the indoor track instead of the treadmill.  Parents/guardians 18 & over must be present at each event.

The 35th Annual Breakfast Lions Club Tri-Fest 5K Run/Walk benefiting Habitat for Humanity of Henderson, KY will be on Saturday, April 18, 2026. This race will take place at Central Park downtown by the riverfront and start at 8am rain or shine!  This is a certified 5K race route with medals and awards given out after the race.  Pre-Registration bag includes a 35th Anniversary and 100th Home Limited Edition Tri-Fest 5K shirt, custom bib and swag bag full of additional goodies while supplies last. Please join us for our 9th annual Autism community event, the Autism SpectRUN 5K, at the Elizabethtown Sports Park! All proceeds from this family fun 5K will benefit Camp TESSA of Hardin County. Camp TESSA (Teaching Effective Social Skills to Students with Autism) is a week-long summer day camp provided in Hardin County. Participants engage in various activities to practice social skills, including music, art, mealtime, games, and field trips. Support is provided by multiple community members, teachers, therapists, parents, and peer partners.  Each runner who registers by April 1st  will receive a race t-shirt! T-shirts will not be included in the 9 and under category (unless registered as a paid participant). This is a backyard-style ultramarathon. At the top of every hour, participants will complete a 4.2-mile loop. When the hour is up, runners line up and do it again. The loop continues hour after hour—not until a set distance is reached, but until only one runner remains. The final runner standing must then complete one last solo 4.2-mile loop. Join us to honor longtime Coach Merrill Morgan Join the Seashore Striders for the 4th 5k Run & a 1 mile walk as we honor longtime Colonel Richardson High School Coach Merrill Morgan.  The former boys’ head basketball coach, Morgan, had 505 career victories, earned 485 of those over his 38 seasons at Colonel. He led Colonel to the state finals in 1976, and reached the state semifinals in 1973, 1976, 1990 and 1995.  In the fall of 1967 to joined Caroline County's Colonel Richardson High School where he served as a guidance counselor from 1967-2004; varsity boy's basketball coach from 1967-2005; and assistant girl's track coach in the 1970s. He excelled in all positions, as he encouraged and assisted both athletes and non-athletes, boys and girls, to be the best they could be. In January of 2015, the Olathe Police Department’s Officer Michael Kern, radio number 704, passed away from a fatal heart attack while preparing for a Presidential escort.  In his memory the annual 704 Blue Run was born and is a tribute to his service and all Olathe Officers that have been tragically lost.   Unfortunately, 2018 saw the unexpected passing of Olathe Police Department Sgt. David Williams. He too will always be remembered for his service and forever a member of this tribute run. Please join us for a beautiful 7.04 mile run or 5K run/walk to kick off your summer! This event takes place on the Indian Creek paved trails and offers you a unique distance of 7.04 miles as well as a 5K run/walk. Race Against the Shake Parkinson's 5k Run/1 mile Fun Walk to bring awareness, support, and funding to people with Parkinson's Disease in Northeast Indiana.

Our 5th Annual BPA 5K is a fun and community driven race that helps support our Business Professionals of America high school and middle school students who have qualified for the National Leadership Conference. Our course takes you on a small trip through the west end of town and around the school campus and is not one that is used for any other 5K.  Race day packet pickup and registration starts at 9 a.m. in front of the Jeff-Craig Elementary School.

Join us for PRC Pinwheel 5K Trail Run and Fun Walk!  It's the race against child abuse! This cross-country style 5K will take place at the beautiful Donovan Park in Peoria, Illinois.  We will offer a timed 5K race for runners, a fun 5K walk, and kids' run for the little ones!  100% of proceeds remain right here in Central Illinois and help provide child-friendly medical and social services for children when there is a concern for possible abuse or neglect.

Welcome to the VFW 805 .1K We are proud to be the VFW's Original .1K and O'Fallon's Original .1K, the VFW Post 805 .1K is a short run that goes a long way towards helping veterans and military families through VFW Post 805. At the length of just one city block with a water break in the middle, it's truly a "run" everyone can finish. Race at your own pace! Don't forget about the prized costume contest.  Bring it on! We are excited to announce The Getting Miles Athletic Club's first annual Fort Wayne Park Race Series! Participants age 12 and under are eligible to compete in this race series.  The Shoaff Park Long Mile, the first race of the series, is a1,5 mile loop on the paved recreation trail in Shoaff Park. Make sure you arrive early to find a good parking spot, warm up, use the restrooms and pick up your race bib. Series participants need to return their race bibs to the packet pickup station in order to receive points for the race. You will use the same race bib for all the events. Runners will receive a race decal to put on their bib at the finish line.  Be sure to return your race bib to packet pickup after you finish the race. The race is for all ages, and winds through iconic parts of Muncie - including Minnetrista and Ball State University - bringing the community together to raise funds and awareness for Parkinson's Disease. Join us for our UCMS Honor Society Ribbon Run. This is a timed 5K that you may choose to run, jog, or walk. Racers will be released all at once and awards will be given out based on age group standings. We are encouraging runners to wear the color that represents the cancer that has affected or affects themselves, their family, or their friends. Proceeds from the race will go towards the Union County Cancer Association and the UCMS Honor Society.
