2026 Nutcracker Workshop Fees cover all costumes (to be retained by CRBA after the show for future use), all in studio rehearsals which will be held on weekdays Nov. 17, 23-24, 30, Dec. 1-4, 7-9, full supervision at the theatre on Dec. 11 and 12, and a video download/link to share with family so you can view the performance again and again once it is over. For Class 6 and 7 students, the fee will include all of the above, plus an additional costume (retained by CRBA) and additional rehearsals on select Saturday afternoons during Oct-Nov, early Dec. Tickets are not included in the Nutcracker Sweet Workshop fee and will go on sale at a separate time. Nutcracker Sweet Workshop fees paid here are non-refundable. Rehearsals through Dec. 9 are held at our Needham Studios. Dress rehearsal and performances on Dec. 11 and 12 are held at Babson College.

Gentle doesn't mean no challenge. We'll still play (emphasis on play!) with engagement, balance, and progression—because nervous-system flexibility isn't about avoiding activation. Instead, we’ll explore what can soften when we know we are supported—and how much effort is actually enough for this moment. FLOW | Responsive Strength | 6:30–7:45 p.m. Thursdays Flow brings more movement, transitions, cardiovascular engagement, and progressive builds—with opportunities to explore strength, balance, more complex expressions of poses, and the option of a peak pose (or two!). But the invitation is never simply to achieve the "advanced" pose. This series, we’ll explore strength without unnecessary rigidity: Can I meet challenge, respond to what my body is telling me, and use enough effort without automatically reaching for more? Both practices will continue to include optional hands-on assists, as well as our end-of-practice ritual many of you already know: savasana with optional hands-on occipital release (with or without essential oils) and end-of-the-series hot towel ritual (now more often with our slightly shorter series!). Because letting go isn't the absence of effort. Sometimes it is discovering that we don't need more effort than this moment requires. And receiving support is part of the practice, too.

Join us on Friday, November 20th for a crisp fall evening run or walk through our main site and outpost area of Gretna Glen Camp & Retreat Center. This 5k trail will take you past and through the heart of Gretna Glen. With glow sticks hanging to lead the way through our course, you will love the fall feeling of finding your feet by a headlamp light. Check-in/ Registration will run from 5:15 to 6:00 p.m.The race will start at 6:15 p.m. sharp.All runners/ walkers should bring a headlamp, good running shoes, and layers for whatever weather November throws at us.The trail will be gravel, dirt, pavement, and a little rockiness thrown in, too.Make it even more fun, and dress up in your best glow outfit!This event won't be professionally timed, but we will have a time clock running at the start area to check your time as you pass by.There is no swag for this event, but if you'd like, you can buy a sweet pair of Gretna Glen socks to keep those toes toasty and campy all winter!Celebrate your run with Smore's and Hot Cocoa at the welcome pavilion after the race. We continue to raise funds for our program projects that enhance our site for summer camp and beyond. Gretna Glen has been serving children, youth, and adults from the Lebanon/ Lancaster area and further since 1959! We seek to bring new and renewed life in Jesus Christ to all people. The 24-Hour Run Against Hunger is a nonstop community fitness challenge designed to fight food insecurity—one lap at a time. Kicking off at 4 PM on June 6th, participants will run, jog, or walk a one-mile loop for 24 hours straight. (Run as many as you want or as few as one!) With a $20 sign-up fee, runners gain access to an incredible experience filled with hourly brand-sponsored segments, themed challenges, and tons of raffle opportunities. Each lap earns a raffle entry, with prizes from top brands like Saucony, ON, New Balance, Mizuno, Brooks, Hoka, ASICS and numerous local businesses. From glow-in-the-dark miles to sunrise runs and happy hour laps, this event blends fitness, fun, and purpose. All proceeds from registration, raffles, and generous local partners go directly to the Regional Food Bank—turning every step into impact.

Death by 5k is coming back to Oak Mountain State Park! The first four years have been awesome so let's do it again! RunStrong Event's signature 24 hour challenge, Death by 5k requires participants to run ten 5ks, starting each 5k spaced 2.5 hours apart. The first 5k starts at 8 am, and subsequent 5ks start at 1030, 1, 330, 6, 830, 11, 130, 4, and 630 am. Participants need to be present at the start of each 5k, and have that 5k finished prior to the start of the subsequent 5k. This challenge is designed to test participants mentally and physically with physical fatigue, sleep deprivation, and running in the dark.
