How the Prediction Run Works Submit your estimated 5K finish time when registering. Instead of a single mass start, we use a countdown clock set to the slowest predicted time. Staggered Start: Slower runners start first, middle-of-the-pack runners follow, and the fastest runners start last. If everyone predicts perfectly, everyone finishes at the exact same time.The Blind Finish: Once the last runner starts, the clock is covered. You will not see the time as you approach the finish line, so you won't know whether to sprint or slow down.Gauge Your Strategy: Running completely alone late in the race means your prediction was off.
