Run for Heroes – Support Operation Finally Home Operation Finally Home provides homes and home modifications to wounded, ill, or injured veterans, first responders, and their families—our everyday Heroes who have sacrificed so much to protect our freedoms. Since 2005, Operation Finally Home has completed or planned 524 home projects in 39 states including eight Wisconsin families, seven in the greater Milwaukee area and one in Madison. Your support helps them continue their mission: giving Heroes the safe, loving home they deserve. Join us at the 5K—run, walk, ruck, or cheer—and help raise funds to honor our Heroes with a home. There will be a 5K run/walk that starts and ends at the Hartford Union High School followed by shorter races for children 10 and under. At the field there will also be "touch a truck" event, games, and other activities for kids of all ages. Welcome to the 4th annual Hero Hill Climb! - Saturday, May 23rd, 2026 Memorial WeekendThis is a great event to honor our fallen veterans and bring awareness to the good men & women serving in our military of all branches. Walk, run or mountain bike...all ages...THE MISSION:  Starting next to Camp Merrill Army Ranger Base, you will be given a half-sheet card with the name and bio of a fallen service member (Hero). Your mission is to carry your Hero up the gravel road to the top of the hill to honor their sacrifice. When you get to the top, there will be a large Hero board, an American flag, and a cast iron Freedom bell. You will pin your Hero Card onto the Hero Board, ring the bell in their honor, and we give you a 12-inch flag to return back down the gravel road with. The scenery is gorgeous, the camaraderie is inspirational, and you get to walk side by side with some amazing people, including the 5th Ranger Training Battalion! 14th Annual Samuel F Pearson Memorial Day Event Saturday, May 23rd, 2026 Event is raising money in honor of Sam Pearson for the Piqua Education Foundation (PEF) for scholarships in his name.Sam was a soldier in the Army serving our country and paid the ultimate sacrifice fighting for our freedoms. Born andraised in Piqua, graduating from Piqua High, money raised stays here in Piqua and supports PHS seniors with scholarshipfunds towards furthering their education. Are you ready to Kiss the Goat? Get ready for an outstanding 1/2 Marathon and 10K trail running event in eastern Kentucky. These trails offers some difficult climbs but with the addition of fast descents and flowy miles. This will be the 4th year of this event and second year with the 1/2 and 10K distances.  The 10K route will be roughly 1250 feet of climbing and the half marathon around 2500 ft of climbing. Runners will do a 6.56 mile loop in each direction for the half marathon, and one lap, with a bit of a short cut for the 10K. NO DOGS ON COURSE. They are welcome at the facility, but not the race course.  This race is suggested for experienced trail runners/hikers. Our class officers have worked diligently to plan a 5K Run/Walk fundraiser to help fund our class expenses.                                            3rd Annual Spring into Summer 5K Run/Walk fundraiser. This fundraiser has been passed down from the Class of 2026 to the Class of 2027.  It will be an annual fundraiser for the Sophomore class to raise funds for Prom, Snowball, Baccalaureate, Class Picnics, and other items that arise during their time here at Catholic High.
