We’re excited to announce the 2026 SSgt Jason Hicks Memorial 5k.  This race is in its 14th year.  All proceeds benefit the SSgt. Jason Hicks Memorial Scholarship Fund. Jason and five other US Air Force Combat Search and Rescue airmen were killed in action while on a humanitarian mission in Afghanistan in 2003 as part of Operation Enduring Freedom. Since then, the Scholarship has been awarded annually to a graduating senior from Central High School in Pageland, SC, which was Jason’s alma mater. Any Central High School graduating senior may apply for the Scholarship.  Applicants should demonstrate leadership abilities and community service.  A Scholarship application for the current school year can be printed by clicking the application link on this site. The Mount Wilson Trail Race returns this year and will be held on Saturday, May 23rd, 2026.  Race start time is 7:30 a.m., with packet pickup beginning at 6:00 a.m. that day. This will be the full 8.6 mile course from Kersting Court, up the Mount Wilson Trail to Orchard Camp, and back. Join us in donating to the Fletcher Trail Maintenance Fund, which supports our dedicated Trail Maintenance Crew volunteers with the necessary equipment, materials, supplies and tools.  Your donation is greatly appreciated and makes a real difference for this historic trail running event and community! Our History: First run in 1908, the annual Mount Wilson Trail Race is one of the oldest trail races in California. The elevation gain is over 2,160 feet on a winding course. The original path, first used by the Gabrielino Indians, was dug out by Benjamin "Don Benito" Wilson in 1864.

No personal pacer (runners without bibs) and absolutely no personal lead bikes. Virtual Race Details The Trent Waldron Half Marathon and 10k Virtual race takes place May 14th to May 31st, 2026. Because this is a virtual race, you run it where and when you want on your choice of running course. The Boots on the Ground for Heroes Memorial 5K Walk/Run will take place following a ceremony honoring the 29 Rhode Islander’s killed post 9/11 in the Global War on Terror.   The course will run through picturesque Fort Adams State Park and begin and end on the parade field inside the historic Fort.  Proceeds from the 5k will support the Memorial and Operation Stand Down Rhode Island, the State’s primary non-profit serving homeless and at-risk veterans.   Registered participants are asked to arrive beginning at 7:30am. A 25-minute ceremony honoring the fallen will begin at 9:00am, followed by the start of the Run/Walk at 10:00 am.    The Boots on the Ground for Heroes Memorial was launched by OSDRI in 2016. 3rd Annual Color Run/Walk around Central York High School in honor of Erin Walker. Erin was an amazing teacher at Central York High school and would want nothing more than to give back to the students. All proceeds benefit scholarships for Central York students continuing higher education.  About the 3 mile course: The course follows a 2 lap route around Central York High School. A majority of the course is on pavement, but there will be a section of grass with a small incline to keep the course exciting. The 48th annual Ogden Newspapers Half Marathon Classic Run and Walk will be on Saturday, May 23. This challenging course is well known for its changes in elevation. The Half Marathon Run and Walk will have prize categories (for male and female) for the Open division. Race towels, bottled water and fresh fruit will be available for participants. Participants will receive one food voucher. Pre-registered participants are guaranteed a shirt. The race committee has determined that official race medals will be given to each finisher of the 48th annual Ogden Newspapers Half Marathon Classic Run and Walk. Come celebrate the North Pocono Runners Kids running clubs 10 years of running!  Although we are a kids running club it is recommended that kids under the age of 12 do not run this mileage yet, this event will be more for the teen and adult running community.

Join us for our  14th Annual Salute the Troops Memorial Races! The 2025 races will feature 3 timed events: a 10K run, 5K run/walk and a kids ‘fun run’ for children 12 and under as well as 2 non timed events: a 10K Ruck March, 5K Ruck March. Join the WOLF PACK for a trail 1/2 Marathon, 6 Hours of Power, 10K, 5K & 20K Relay in Caesar Creek State Park. A large sprawling lake, sunny meadows, and a wooded ravine await visitors at Caesar Creek. Come run with us! All races start near the Cedar Point group camp/shelter (Fifty Springs area), not at the main campground. Look for Wolf Pack signs in the Fifty Springs area! Don’t miss Race Day Weekend at the Wiedemann Brewery in the always-friendly confines of downtown St. Bernard!The Wiedemann Mile is a challenging test of strategic speed and pacing run over the bed of the historic Miami & Erie Canal. This rolling cross-country course is mostly flat, with a couple of short-but-challenging hills near the midpoint. The event will take place rain or shine. A free kids fun run will follow the main event.The one-mile course begins and ends in the Bohemian Beer Garden of the historic Wiedemann Brewery, where the original canal wall still stands more than 100 years after commercial traffic was shut down. The top male and female runners will win prize money in the form of brass Wiedemann’s “Good Luck” beer tokens and other valuable merchandise. A deceivingly flat course that will make you work a bit on the way out but will leave you enjoying the downhill back!   The course is an out and back starting on Main Street near the Russell Church parking lot.  Runners will head out Old Route 62 and take a right on to Woodland Drive followed by a left on Williams Street.  Race will continue right in to Pine Grove Boulevard and head through the loop in Green Briar Circle.  Once through the loop runners will head back the way they came.  Race finishes by looping down by the post office on Conewango Street and then a straight finish on to East St.     Awards will be : Top 1 Overall, age groups will be 1-12, 13-17, 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+ Male and Female  The proceeds benefit R.O.A.R and the Eisenhower Cross Country team.
