Peace, Love, Trails welcomes you to Raptor Ridge! Join us on Sunday, August 23rd at 9am! Run 6.5 miles of challenging trails in the Westmoreland Sanctuary The race starts and finishes at the Fox Lane H.S. Campus (at the back of the campus behind the Middle School gym). See if you have the intestinal fortitude to conquer RAPTOR RIDGE! Westmoreland Sanctuary is a not-for-profit, independent nature center and wildlife preserve located in Westchester County, New York. The land spans three towns: Bedford, Mount Kisco, and Armonk. We also need to thank the Fox Lane Sports Booster Club for all their help in allowing us to use the beautiful campus for our race headquarters and for the ever important parking! We will also be collecting food for the Mt. Kisco Food Pantry.  If you would like to personally donate food, please bring non-perishable items that are within the expiration date.

USATF New England XC Grand Prix Race #1 and USATF New England All Terrain Series - XC Race Come one, come all for the fourth running of the Old Goat Track Club XC Classic (OGTC XC Classic) 5k XC race around fields at Waters Farm in Sutton, MA. About the triathlon Sign up for Maine's most beautiful triathlon at Pemaquid Beach in Bristol on August 23 (9:00 am start). Compete as an individual or as a team of up to three people. Much of the race route hugs the coastline of the iconic Pemaquid peninsula. This is a beautiful and fun community event - make it as competitive or as laid back as you like! The Pemaquid Beach Triathlon is a fundraiser for Bristol Parks and Recreation. Proceeds will be used to build a playground at Pemaquid Beach Park. To date, we've raised $48,797 for the playground fund. First Coast Lets get our Kids to compete in a Swim Run Race!    This part of the Florida Race Day  Kids Triathlon/ Duathlon Series - We limit these races to kids ages 5-14 only and to only 100 athletes and do sell out so we advise if you are interested to register early.    Kids Swim Run Race participants will swim laps in the pool and off to their feet for the running portion until they finish under the Arch to complete their achievement.   The events will be chip timed with a finisher time.   Distances are based on the age of the child.  The events will go off with each participant getting a total net time. Join us August 5, 12, 19 & 26 for a fun series of shorter midweek trail races. This fourth race of the series will take place on the fast and flat Valley Trail at Lory State Park. Our goal is to offer a fun, low-key series of races designed to give newer trail runners an opportunity to dip their toes into the trail racing waters, and to offer more experienced trail racers a chance to sharpen their speed on shorter, quicker courses. All races will start at 6:00pm, ranging in distance from 5k to 12k. Results will be tabulated according to chip times, with series points awarded for each race. Top series finishers will earn unique awards. We'll have a wide selection of vintage Gnar race shirts, and all registrants are welcome to their pick to call their own. We are delaying this race to correspond with the opening our new Youth Hub in Rosman. The third annual race is getting ready to be run. We run over mixed surfaces, a gravel track initially, through woods and around fields, alongside the French Broad River across the Rosman airport (who knew!) around town and back across fields and through the woods.  It has an elevation climb of a little over 10 feet !! - so a perfect first 5K to either run or walk. Come and join us.

Run for wine at the eighth annual Cabernet Canter Cross Country 5K/10K at Talon Winery! Participants will run a beautiful cross-country race at Talon Winery, and receive a finishers award and drink ticket redeemable for one glass of Talon wine. Participants under 21 will receive all portions of the finisher award except for the glass of wine. Stick around after the event to shop the great selection of wines and hang out with live music! A Splash and Dash is a fun and fast-growing sport that combines swimming and running. The TRI Clear Lake Splash & Dash is a participatory event for kids ages 7-15 with an emphasis on creating a fun family weekend of multisport and fitness.  As an official part of the USA Triathlon Youth Aquathlon Series. Every participant will receive a finisher medal, Parents are encouraged to cheer on their kids as they move through the course and finish under the same arch as the adult racers.  The race will be held Friday, August 28th at 6:30pm.  Athletes will be staged by age with the oldest going off first. Our intent is to organize a safe and rewarding race experience for everyone. Triathlon Race SegmentsIndividual and Relay teams will complete: Swim: 1,000 yard Athletes will depart from a beautiful sandy beach into serene Swan Lake for a 1,000 yard swim around clearly marked buoys. The course features a maximum depth of 8 ft and typical August water temperatures hover around 70°F. For participant safety, the swim segment will be closely patrolled by the Otter Tail County Sheriff’s Department and Dalton Fire & Rescue.  Bike: 18 mile The bike route offers a true dichotomy of terrain, with 60% hilly gravel roads and 40% buttery-flat pavement on the Central Lakes Trail, totaling over 1,000 feet of elevation gain. Course Description: The half-marathon course covers approximately 13.1 miles and begin from the Lewis & Clark trailhead in the Weldon Spring Conservation Area off Hwy 94 in Defiance, MO. Half marathon participants will first run the 8-mile Lewis Trail and then the 5-mile Clark Trail. The course will travel counter-clockwise and will not be closed to outside use.
