The 14th Annual Life's Good in LG 5k Race and Fun Run

Our event has enabled the LVFD to purchase new equipment used for fighting fires throughout our county.  Our 5K course loops through the beautiful neighborhood of Leonard's Grant and is USAT&F certified and chip-timed. Run or walk for a cause - proceeds will be used to fund planning and execution of community development training and projects in rural southeastern Kenya in partnership with Kenya Kids (US-based nonprofit), the Touch Africa Child Education Project (TACEP, a Kenyan NGO), and other local Kenyan community partners. Funds raised will be invested where needed most, in particular to provide educational opportunities, improve public health, and address food and water insecurity.
