Texas Canyon Mountain Bike Race

The Amerind Museum presents the 8th Annual Texas Canyon Mountain Bike Race & Fun Ride.  Saturday, January 30th is your opportunity to enjoy this awe-inspiring region that is normally closed to bikes. Come out and ride a scenic course in beautiful Texas Canyon. We have a new and improved racecourse (debuted last year on a rainy race day with rave reviews from riders). The course is 50% single track in and around the famous boulders of Texas Canyon! Participation in the event enables Amerind to further its mission of fostering and promoting knowledge and understanding of the Native Peoples of the Americas through research, education, conservation, and community engagement.  The race starts at 10:00 a.m. for the 4 laps (42 mile) division and 10:10 am for the 2 laps (21 mile) division.
