The Wilson Creek Frozen 50k offers a unique, winter running experience on the stunning Wilson Creek trail system, 30 minutes south of Nampa, Idaho. Runners will traverse the Reynolds Creek gorge along the China Ditch and summit Wilson Peak while braving the elements. The 5K and Penguin Plunge have been the premier winter event for over a decade. After the 5K, finish the event off with the Penguin Plunge. Challenge yourself and brave the frigid cold by jumping into the Utah Lake. Our team skillfully cuts out a square of ice and inserts a safety cage to protect you from floating under the ice or sinking. If you choose to opt-out of taking a dip in the lake, feel free to watch the faces of those who are crazy enough to take the dive! The Sun Marathon has four distances. Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 10K and 5K.  This race purpose is to get runners out of the cold and into the warmth of Southern Utah in the St. George/Santa Clara Area. Though the courses are primarily downhill over the distance there are some rollers and a few climbs. The views during this race are great with huge red rock mountains all around to views of Gunlock Reservoir during the Marathon and a nice river along the Full and Half Marathons.

The Palm Springs Health Run & Wellness Festival has now become one of the largest events of its kind in Southern California and follows a spectacularly beautiful path in and around Ruth Hardy Park with picture perfect views of the San Jacinto Mountain Range. This USA Track and Field certified 10K and 5K event has caught the attention of serious runners and nationally recognized health and wellness speakers. The Expo has grown substantially since its inception and now has over 80 vendors showcasing the latest in nutrition and exercise techniques, LifeStream Blood Bank Drive, and rock climbing wall. Not only is the event a way for health conscious individuals and families to come together, but it has now become a major fundraiser.

LASAA’s mission is to provide athletic events for our members, comprised of Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department employees and law enforcement personnel, to promote health, fitness, and camaraderie.  The Mug Run series started in 1993. The primary participants were law enforcement personnel with an average of 10 runners.  Since then, the Mug Run series opened its participation to the general public. Today, participation has grown to over 300 runners.   The race provides outside friendly competition and positive interaction between law enforcement and the community.  Race day pricing increases to $40 so make sure to sign up early.

The event includes a 5K, a Mini Kids Ride, and 15-30-62-100 mile bike tours in the northwest and southwest regions of Cape Coral. The 5K will be chipped timed and scored by Lin-Mark Sports of Cape Coral - texted results will be available to all persons who sign up for it during the registration process. The Tour rides including the Speed Zone portion will also be timed by Lin-Mark Sports with texted results available.

Join us for the 27th annual 5K and Scramble 10K Trail Runs The 5K and 10K utilize different starts and courses!  Everything pre-and post-race is in the vicinity of the Nature Center at Lake Osprey: parking, packet pick up, starts, finish and post race. Returning for 2027, the Winter Challenge features three unique trail races across three of the Fox Valley's favorite forest preserves. The series kicks off on January 23, 2027, with a scenic and beginner-friendly 5K at Dick Young Forest Preserve in Batavia. On February 20, 2027, the challenge continues with our signature 8K at Oakhurst Forest Preserve in Aurora, featuring the infamous sledding hill climb that has become a favorite (and sometimes dreaded) tradition of the series. Then, on March 14, 2027, we'll finish strong with a rewarding 10K at Hickory Knolls Discovery Center in St. Charles, bringing the Winter Challenge to an epic conclusion. Each race offers its own unique terrain and winter conditions. US Road Running Races US Road Running races are built for runners and walkers who like friendly, low-pressure race days with just enough competition to keep things exciting. Our events are local, welcoming, and easy to jump into, whether you are chasing a PR, collecting another themed medal, working toward series points, or just getting outside with good people. Most races are small enough to feel personal but organized enough to feel official. You can expect a clear course, helpful race staff, finisher medals, results, and a relaxed community feel. Bring your fast shoes, your steady walking pace, your favorite running buddy, or your best “I signed up for this on purpose” smile. We will be glad to see you at the start line. A quick race-day note: because many US Road Running events are small local races, we normally have one or two staff members at each race. For the sixth consecutive year, Justin will spend his birthday running his age in miles, all to raise money and awareness for HOPE of Winston Salem! Like the last three years, there will be a 5K, 10K, and 1 Mile Fun Run to take place as Justin runs laps around the loop at Kimberley Park. We will also have a 49 mile Relay - so grab some friends and share the fun! As always, you can sign up for the 49 mile "Fun Run" to go the full distance! This year's after party will be the best yet, so stick around after the race for food, drink, fellowship and giveaways! The Course is a .55 mile crushed gravel trail loop at Kimberley Park, just outside of downtown Winston Salem. 5Kers will run a little under 6 laps and 10Kers will run just over 11 laps. It time to get cold! The 2027 the Schock & Shivers 5k and Cold Water Challenge is a Team Chesapeake Law Enforcement United event to fundraise for the Road to Hope. Join us at Oak Grove Park on January 23, 2027, where we will honor Chesapeake officers Tim Schock and Jarrod Shivers, who were killed in the line of duty.
