The 10k and 5k will take place on the 8 Mile Creek Trail in Paragould, Arkansas. Returning in 2026 is the FASTEST KID IN TOWN RACE Sponsored by PMU with the Fastest Internet in Town.  All registrations before May 1st will receive a FREE Loose Caboose Festival T-Shirt! *Please note the 8 Mile Creek Trail Expansion will be complete by race day and starting points are new and improved! Half Marathon: Race begins at Bland Park at 7am.  10K: Race begins at Bland Park at 8am and returns to same point. 5K: Race begins at Bland Park at 8am and ends at Harmon Park. A shuttle will leave from the 5k finish line from 9am to 10am to take 5k Racers back to Bland Park. Fastest Kid In Town Race: Race begins at 9:30 am inside the festival grounds near Champions Gymnastics.  Age Divisions:4 and under5-6 years7-8 years9-10 year11-14 All proceed from the race will benefit the Paragould Chamber Foundation and the Greene County Future Fund. The races are a collaboration between the two entities.

In the United States, a person dies by suicide every 12.3 minutes. That is 132 people per day and half a million people per year. Luzerne County made up 54 of those deaths in 2024. It is also the leading cause of death among young people aged 10-24. To address some of these statistics, the Friends of Rachel Club is excited to announce our 2nd Annual Suicide Prevention and Awareness Race. This event is a pivotal part of our mission to raise awareness about suicide prevention, promote mental health, and foster a supportive community for those affected by suicide. We are currently offering a 9.88K (in reference to the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline number), 5K, 1 Mile Memory Walk/Run and Kid’s Fun Run. Although event day is being held at the Hazleton Area High School Track & Field, runners registered for the 5K and 9.88K will not run their respective races around the track but the Hazleton Area High School campus and nearby. This cycling, running, and walking event raises money to fund pancreatic cancer research, awareness, and advocacy efforts, with an emphasis on progressive research programs and initiatives. It is held in May each year. It is a rain-or-shine event and is designed to appeal to individuals and families ranging from casual and recreational walkers/runners/cyclists to avid runners and cyclists.  Your support, participation, and contributions fund pancreatic cancer research and treatment and assist in working towards finding a cure for this deadly disease. Join us on May 16, 2026! Runners, joggers, and walkers – join us for the Clinic for Special Children 5k, a chip-timed, 3.1-mile race along rolling scenic roads through Lancaster County farmland. Tri 4 Schools is a part of Active Youth Wisconsin, a nonprofit committed to empowering kids to be happy, healthy, and confident through movement. While there are recommended ages listed below, please select the course that best matches your child’s ability, regardless of age. Athletes must be able to navigate the course themselves and follow signage and volunteer directions along the course. Welcome to the Blazer Dash! This is a community event that includes a 5K Run and 2 Mile Walk. Also included is a fun 1/4 mile Kid's Dash for children (10 and under) that will begin after the 5K Run / 2 Mile Walk. Free childcare (pre-registration is encouraged) is available for parents during the run/walk (there is a maximum capacity for childcare).  Sign up for the events above! The 5K Run, 2 Mile Walk, and Kid's Dash all receive a "dry fit" like moisture wicking athletic performance shirt!  Register by April 19th to guarantee your shirt is available for pick up on race day! This is an adventurous trail race as it includes the long climb to the top of the mountain. This year will see a new course due to the increased traffic at the park and their request that we use a slightly different one. The changes will be finalized soon.  Due to supply chain issues we aren't offering jackets at this time.  However if runners are interested in doing a shirt order then we can check on that availability and additional costs.

Run Tosa Run is a 5k run/walk and half-mile kids' run through the beautiful tree-lined streets of the Tosa East Towne neighborhood. Detective Michael “Mike” Doty, who served the York County community for 12 years, was one of four deputies shot searching for a domestic violence suspect in York on January 16, 2018. A day later he passed away. He was an investigator with the York County Multi-Jurisdictional Drug Enforcement Unit and was the Law Enforcement Officer Narcan (LEON) Program coordinator for the sheriff’s office. He was also a member of the YCSO SWAT Entry Team, as well as an associate advisor for the York County Explorer Post 1786. Your participation in this race will directly benefit Keystone Substance Abuse Services. The Columbia Gorge Running Club invites runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to embark on the 16th annual Ridge Run 10-Miler. This point-to-point race goes up and over the scenic ridge between the towns of Carson and Stevenson, WA. It's a stout climb in both directions - so much so that Backwoods Brewing (in Carson) named a delicious oatmeal stout after this event. Where:The 2026 event starts at the Fairgrounds in Stevenson and ends at Backwoods in Carson. This is a point-to-point race, so you can either park at the Backwoods Cabins in Carson and carpool to the start in Stevenson, or find a ride back to the start after finishing.  There is not a shuttle to the start (or finish), so you will need to coordinate your own ride. It is highly recommended that you meet at the Backwoods Cabins in Carson (there is a large parking area just past the pub across Wind River Hwy that will have a parking sign) at 8am and carpool from there to the start. This race is traditionally held in Skamokawa, WA around The Julia Butler Hansen National Wildlife Refuge which is home to the Columbia Whitetail Deer. The Julia Butler Hansen National Wildlife Refuge, in addition to protecting endangered deer is also a wintering area for waterfowl on the Pacific flyway. This race is sponsored by Wahkiakum 4-H Leaders Council. The Washington State University 4-H Youth Development Program is a county-based program with educational support from the University. Youth age kindergarten through 19 years are involved in learning life skills through working in project areas with adult volunteer leaders. 4-H encourages responsibility, decision-making, record keeping, and teamwork. The 13th Annual North Penn IRONKnights Elementary Triathlon is open only to North Penn Elementary students! Race divisions include grade K, grades 1 and 2, grades 3 and 4, and grades 5 and 6. NOM-York’s 5K was created to raise funds to support our mission – to provide awareness, education and support to those affected by substance use disorder and addiction – as well as to provide a gathering opportunity for the recovery community. At our event, we remember those we have lost to addiction and honor those fighting for recovery.  Our 5K is not like others. It is not a highly competitive event. Although we do our best, we sometimes start the race a little late, and we have hiccups along the way. If you are a serious runner, this may not be the event for you.

Tim's House for First Responders was founded in 2018 by Meaghan Valesky, who lost her father to suicide. He was a firefighter and paramedic who fought the silent battle of mental health. Since his passing, Meaghan has been working tirelessly to put an end to the stigma and lower the suicide rate. Through the various fundraisers that the organization does each year, Tim's House gives ALL money back to the first responder to help cover medication, hospitalizations, mental health evaluations, bills, and so much more.  For Mental Health Awareness Month, Tim's House will be doing their very first 5K Run/Walk. This race will be taking place in Jamestown, PA. Registration begins at 6am going until 8am and the race starts at 8:30am. We cannot do all we do without your help. Welcome to the Awesome 3000! Join us as we return to McCulloch Stadium for another year of this exciting event. Since 1983, youth from Salem-Keizer and surrounding areas have participated in this fun run event that benefits Salem-Keizer Schools.  In 2024-2025, United Way will distribute nearly $40,000 in grants throughout the district to benefit our children. We are excited to see you again! This annual event raises awareness about the impact midwives have on improving outcomes in maternal and infant health and supports two professional midwifery organizations, The American College of Nurse-Midwives Oregon Affiliate and Oregon Midwifery Council. We are excited to be back at French Creek State Park for our 14th edition of the French Creek Triathlon! Make it a family weekend...
