Join us for the 12th Annual Amanda's 5K Race/Roll to help benefit Amanda Bissette Batchelor with her medical care. Chip timing provided by Run the East LLC. Race will take place rain or shine. For your safety, the use of headphones during the race is discouraged. Bicycles, skateboards, roller skates, or rollerblades will not be permitted on the course. Strollers will be permitted, but the for the safety of the other participants, we ask that you begin the race at the back of the group. On Saturday, May 16, 2026, the Rotary Club of Rocky Mount is hosting the annual TACKLE THE TAR 5K Obstacle Course Race & Family Fun Day at the Rocky Mount Sports Complex.  Our first heat begins with our Kid’s 1-mile fun run at 8:45 A.M. and festivities will continue until noon.   All proceeds from this event go directly to the funding of college scholarships for deserving students in the Rocky Mount Area.  Since 2016, thanks to you, we have raised and awarded over $510,000 in scholarships to youth in our community.  Thank you for making such a difference in the lives of so many! Tackle the Tar is a 5K Obstacle Course Race that begins at the Rocky Mount Sports complex and courses through historic Battle Park and the E.B. Death by 5k is coming back to Waterloo for year 4! Think you have what it takes to finish the Death by 5k challenge? Taking place at beautiful George Wyth State Park, Death by 5k requires participants to run (or walk) ten 5ks over 24 hours, starting each 5k 2.5 hours apart. The annual Tulip Festival Road Race in Orange City, Iowa is a mainstay on the third weekend of May each year. The 2026 edition will feature a scenic Orange City route starting and ending downtown with the last stretch along the Tulip lined Central Avenue from Northwestern College, past the historic courthouse, and through the Dutch architecture and festival features while finishing next to the Windmill in Windmill Park. We will feature a 5k run/walk and a 1 mile fun walk. Both events will start at 8:05 am on May 16th on Arizona Avenue near the park.  Dutch finisher awards as well as overall and age group awards will be given.  The race will be chip timed with a gun start. Participants can expect a t-shirt, fun race experience, and treats at the finish line.

The Wolf Lake 5k takes you on a scenic tour of the William Powers Conservation Area at Wolf Lake. Your trip begins at the visitors center and takes you North through the park to the State Line where you turn around are return to the finish line.  The race is entirely within the William Powers Conservation Area this year. In addition to our normal race awards, and in honor of those who serve and protect the community, we will have a "First Responders Challenge".  Bragging rights and medals will be awarded to the three fastest Police, Fire, and EMTs. Description:  The Farmville 5K & Fun Run will be held on Saturday May 16th, 2026. The 5K course starts and finishes at Farmville’s Town Common and features a scenic run along Farmville’s athletic field, golf course, library, arboretum, and through both new and historic neighborhoods in a family-friendly town.  The Fun Run will follow the first 1.2 miles of the 5K course, turning off at the Town Common towards the finish line. Join us for our annual Race for Roofs, a run/walk event to support our mission of offering affordable housing and support in Indianapolis. This annual race has both a 4K and an 8K option through the scenic Brookside Park on the near Eastside of Indianapolis. Race through beautiful Dillsboro and support the Homecoming Festival.  The race is a fairly flat course on the streets and through the park in Dillsboro.  There is one hill at the end of the race.  All money raised from the race go back to the Dillsboro Civic Club for the events they sponsor for the community through out the year. Some of these events include, Halloween costume parade, Santa's visit, Christmas light display, the summer concert series, and support for Dillsboro Summer ball and Dillsboro SAY soccer.

Join us for the Inaugural Neighbors on the Move, Neighborhood Health Center 5K and Fun Run. This race will take place in Liberty, Indiana followed by a celebration with community partners and Health Fair.  We encourage participants to dress in their favorite tie-dyed or colorful attire.  All 5k and Fun Run participants will receive a race shirt, if registered by April 27th. Proceeds from this fun event will benefit Neighborhood Health Center’s mission and transportation assistance for patients.

Next to the Indiana Statehouse, firefighters and police officers from across the state who gave their lives in the line of duty are memorialized. Join fellow EMS professionals to create an addition to this memorial for emergency medical technicians and paramedics who lost their lives serving our communities. Help us continue to raise funds for this project and kick-off National EMS Week by joining us for the eighth annual Run With Shears on May 16, 2026. This event is proudly hosted by the Indiana EMS Association. We are one of the only EMS 5k races in the United States and annually host hundreds of runners, walkers, and EMS professionals from across the Midwest. Runners and walkers of all abilities are welcome to participate in this annual event along the scenic Downtown Canal in the heart of Indianapolis. EMS professionals and competitive runners alike will love our fast and flat USATF sanctioned course with elite awards, medals, and shirts. Children, and strollers are also welcome.

The 4th Annual Prairie Dash 5k Fun Run is Saturday, May 16 at beautiful Conner Prairie in Fishers, IN! Runners and walkers representing both the Lawrence Township School Foundation and the Hamilton Southeastern Education Foundation will participate!
