Join us for the Guardian Angel Color Run on Saturday, May 16th!   Celebrating 11 years, our Guardian Angel Scholarship Program offers a unique opportunity to serve our St. Nicholas community and invest in our students’ futures by creating Saints and Scholars. The program provides tuition assistance to local families who wish to make Catholic education a priority in their lives.   The run is open to the public as well as St. Nicholas students, families and parents. Run. Ride. Relief. is a MillerKnoll Foundation-sponsored run, walk, roll, and ride benefiting the MillerKnoll Global Associate Relief Fund. Taking place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, at the scenic Marigold Lodge in Holland, Michigan, this event invites MillerKnoll associates and their families to come together for a day of movement, connection, and care.   Participants can choose from multiple ways to get involved, including a 1‑mile family fun run, 5K walk/run/roll, or 40K bike ride. For those who can’t join in person, virtual participation options are available so everyone can take part from wherever they are.   Proceeds from Run. Ride. This year the walk will be held in 3 separate locations including Washington DC where the first event of the year will be held. That event will be on April 18th. The second walk will be held along the Macomb Orchard Trail on May 2nd with the Holland walk on May 16th being the last one of 2026. We are so honored to partner with our family, friends, and neighbors to stand together in this fight that many of our veterans battle alone. Join us in 1 or all 3 events and help us save lives. The Holland Walk will start in the parking lot of Holland State Park Beach with parking available along Lakeshore Dr or in the State Park with a park pass. This is an out and back trek.

The Cupcheck Cancer Tournament is a friendly indoor pond hockey style tournament held each year to raise money for Glioblastoma brain cancer research and awareness. It is also a time to honor the life of Kevin Wagner who loved the game of hockey. Join us as we continue to stand beside and support our loved one, Stef Dorner, in her ongoing fight against ocular melanoma. Stef was first diagnosed in March of 2020. In early 2025, her diagnosis progressed to stage 4. This past year brought significant challenges. After five aggressive rounds of Hepzato to treat liver metastasis, Stef also underwent radiation to address metastasis in her lung. As we head into 2026, we gather with Hope in Sight. Stef’s most recent scans show stable tumors with no new growth, a milestone we were deeply thankful for. She continues to fight and is hopeful for a cure. Together, we will walk, gather, and raise awareness for this extremely rare eye cancer, diagnosed in only about 7,000 adults worldwide each year. On Saturday, May 16, 2026, the public is invited to join in the Walk for Dyslexia to benefit the Madison Area Children’s Dyslexia Center, which offers free, individualized tutoring for Dane County children who struggle with reading, writing, and spelling. In-person registration will begin at 8:30 am at Brittingham Park (829 W. Washington Avenue, Madison, WI).  The 5K walk/fun run will start at 9:30 am (NEW TIME FOR 2026!). The 6th Annual Parsons VFD Cheat River Triathlon will be on May 16, 2026.  The course has been laid out and will be as follows. Mill Race Park in Parsons will be The starting point you will run 3.9 miles to Hendricks Park. At that point, you will Kayak or Canoe 3 + miles back to Mill Race Park. The Daughters of the American Revolution, Westmoreland Chapter will hold its inaugural Ramsdell Run 5k run/walk on May 16, 2026 beginning at 9:00 a.m. The course is a fast and flat race through the communities of Ceredo and Kenova. The “Boots on The Ground” race consists of a 5k family-oriented, pet-friendly, fun walk or run, as well as a more demanding 10k run (twice around the 5k course) starting at 9:00 AM with an Honor Guard Salute. Join MSE Racing and Coach Sally Drake for an open water swim session/clinic at beautiful Lake Lou Yaeger in Litchfield, IL.  We will kick off Lake Lou Yaeger Triathlon and packet pickup weekend with an optional swim clinic to help newbies prepare and gain helpful tips for open water swimming and race day strategies. For those with experience, just swim and enjoy! We will have a couple of buoys for use at the clinic session, but not full access to the triathlon swim courses. This event is open to anyone at any level.  We offer a special discounted rate for athletes participating in the Lake Lou Yaeger Triathlon if you bundle and purchase the Open Water Swim Clinic Session when you register for the Lake Lou Yaeger Triathlon. We are excited to announce we are planning for the 2nd Annual Gaudreau 5K and Family Fun Day.  Please check back for more updates and information regarding the planned events! The 2nd Annual Gaudreau 5K and Family Fun Day will take place at Washington Lake Park in Sewell, NJ on May 16, 2026, beginning at 8 AM. The event includes a chip-timed 5K race, a 2 Mile Fun "Walk & Roll", a Kid's Dash, a Diaper Dash and a Corn Hole tournament. The Family Fun Day includes music, games, All Star Dance performances, face-painting, a balloon artist, lawn games, inflatable activities for toddlers and children, yoga, raffle baskets, and food and beverage sales. The Upland Hills School Trail Runs will take place on May 16th, 2026 beginning at 9:30AM. Come join us for our annual 1 Miler, 5K and 10K Trail runs through Upland Hills School Campus. Upland Hills Farm and Bald Mountain State Recreation Area. All ages and fitness levels are welcome!  Eastside Racing Company will be providing Timing Services and live results! Students at Upland Hills School (K-8) are actively involved in the planning and creation of the Trail Runs and will be participating.  This is one of our largest fundraisers each year.  Our students are incredibly excited to run, come join our GOATS Upland Hills Cross Country team and students and race the trails. The Humane Society of Huron Valley's Annual Walk & Wag and Run: a dog walk, run, and all-around-fun day! Have friends and family sponsor you, bring your dog and have a ball. Please join us for our fourth annual Mental Health Movement 2K | 5K | 10K Run-Walk! We, at Northeast Michigan Community Mental Health Authority (NeMCMHA), aim to bring awareness to mental health in our four-county catchment area of Alcona, Alpena, Montmorency, and Presque Isle, while also reducing the stigma of mental health.  All events are chip timed and can be completed by anyone! You can try for a personal best or simply enjoy the beauty of our river routes! Our 2K and 5K routes are wheelchair and stroller accessible, while our 10K route does have a street with curbs that must be crossed two times. Join the Hamtramck Drug Free Community Coalition (HDFCC), a program of the Piast Institute, for its 17th Annual Hamtramck Health Hike.   This FREE 5K run/walk taking place on Saturday, May 16, 2026, from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Starting and ending at Zussman Park in front of Hamtramck City Hall (3401 Evaline St.), this community event welcomes participants of all ages and fitness levels.
