Race through beautiful Dillsboro and support the Homecoming Festival.  The race is a fairly flat course on the streets and through the park in Dillsboro.  There is one hill at the end of the race.  All money raised from the race go back to the Dillsboro Civic Club for the events they sponsor for the community through out the year. Some of these events include, Halloween costume parade, Santa's visit, Christmas light display, the summer concert series, and support for Dillsboro Summer ball and Dillsboro SAY soccer.

Get ready for an explosion of color during the Surviving the Color 5k run/walk! Be sure to dress in white and we'll make sure you leave covered in color! Not a runner? That's OK! We are all about having a fun time not setting records! This run benefits the organization Team of Mercy whom offers assistance to those left behind after an attempted or completed suicide. Race Day Packet Pick-Up takes place at West Branch High School from 5:15pm-6:45pm.  The address is:  14277 S. Main Street, Beloit, Ohio 44609.    - The 1-Mile is untimed and begins at 6:30pm. - The 5K is professionally chip-timed by GCXC Racing - Youngstown and begins at 7:00pm.    1-Mile participants receive a participant t-shirt.  5K participants receive a chip-timed bib number, participant shirt and finisher medal (medals limited to the first 150 pre-registered).   Dudley's in Damascus Pizza will be on site.  Participants will receive coupons for a free slice of pizza.  Wood-fired pizza is also available for purchase.

The 9th annual Grey Matters 5K/10K/virtual race will be held in Downtown Whitesburg, Kentucky on Saturday, May 16th, 2026. On Saturday, May 16, 2026, the Rotary Club of Rocky Mount is hosting the annual TACKLE THE TAR 5K Obstacle Course Race & Family Fun Day at the Rocky Mount Sports Complex.  Our first heat begins with our Kid’s 1-mile fun run at 8:45 A.M. and festivities will continue until noon.   All proceeds from this event go directly to the funding of college scholarships for deserving students in the Rocky Mount Area.  Since 2016, thanks to you, we have raised and awarded over $510,000 in scholarships to youth in our community.  Thank you for making such a difference in the lives of so many! Tackle the Tar is a 5K Obstacle Course Race that begins at the Rocky Mount Sports complex and courses through historic Battle Park and the E.B. Grain Company property.  It comes complete with a MUD PIT and 20+ OBSTACLES to overcome.  All racers will receive: T-shirt, medal, one free beer (if over 21), and goodie bag.

Life is hard, and sometimes doing a crazy obstacle course race or mud run can change our perspective on what's possible in our life. Treetop Adventures and North Carolina Boys Academy are hosting a MAD DASH Challenge (300m swim, obstacle course & 5k) and Fun Run on May 17, 2025. All ages are welcomed to participate in this family-friendly event. Treetop Adventures is an outdoor adventure park situated on Lake Hickory in Conover, NC. Miles for Messiah 5K & Breakfast is our annual event that benefits the youth programs at our church. The 5K course starts near PVCC and finishes at the Family Life Center where a delicious breakfast will be served to all runners. Breakfast plates are also available for any spectators for a small fee &/or donation. The race course is a figure 9 with a loop off of Doggett Road and small inclines. The church youth and leaders manage the event and make it a family friendly event for everyone. M4M has been a part of the Rutherford Outdoor Coalition (ROC) Race Series since 2012. The 7th Annual Zen Squirrel Trail Run is where it all started for Roadless Races in 2019, and it's BACK!  Offering 2 mile, 5 mile, and 10 mile distance options, this race brings together trail runners for fun, challenge, and healthy competition.  Runners will be treated to some awesome courses that include a mixture of smooth and flowing dirt trails, rock and root strewn single-track, and challenging hill climbs.  After finishing the race, enjoy post-race food, great music, a free kids race, and an awards ceremony with fun contests and lots of giveaways.   Sprawling over 900 acres and located on the south side of Chapel Hill, NC, Briar Chapel is a green community that boasts a vast network of forested hiking and mountain biking trails.  In addition to 20+ miles of fantastic trails at Briar Chapel, centrally located Great Meadow Park, with its beautiful lawn, stage, and pavilion, offers a perfect setting area to start and finish a race.

This race is traditionally held in Skamokawa, WA around The Julia Butler Hansen National Wildlife Refuge which is home to the Columbia Whitetail Deer. The Julia Butler Hansen National Wildlife Refuge, in addition to protecting endangered deer is also a wintering area for waterfowl on the Pacific flyway. This race is sponsored by Wahkiakum 4-H Leaders Council. The Washington State University 4-H Youth Development Program is a county-based program with educational support from the University. Youth age kindergarten through 19 years are involved in learning life skills through working in project areas with adult volunteer leaders. 4-H encourages responsibility, decision-making, record keeping, and teamwork. 21st Annual Dolphin Dash 5K   This is our 21st Annual Dolphin Dash, in which we are raising money for Abby's Legacy Foundation. Abby’s Legacy Foundation is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit that supports childhood cancer patients through research, care, and love. All money raised from our Winter Carnival, Casholas, and this race will go to this charity.   You may both register and pay for the race on this page. The Columbia Gorge Running Club invites runners and walkers of all ages and abilities to embark on the 16th annual Ridge Run 10-Miler. This point-to-point race goes up and over the scenic ridge between the towns of Carson and Stevenson, WA. It's a stout climb in both directions - so much so that Backwoods Brewing (in Carson) named a delicious oatmeal stout after this event. Where:The 2026 event starts at the Fairgrounds in Stevenson and ends at Backwoods in Carson. This is a point-to-point race, so you can either park at the Backwoods Cabins in Carson and carpool to the start in Stevenson, or find a ride back to the start after finishing.  There is not a shuttle to the start (or finish), so you will need to coordinate your own ride. It is highly recommended that you meet at the Backwoods Cabins in Carson (there is a large parking area just past the pub across Wind River Hwy that will have a parking sign) at 8am and carpool from there to the start. Since 1983, youth from Salem-Keizer and surrounding areas have participated in this fun run event that benefits Salem-Keizer Schools.  In 2024-2025, United Way will distribute nearly $40,000 in grants throughout the district to benefit our children. The Brave Run starts and ends at the Banks High School track. The Sgt. Bret D. Isenhower Memorial 5K is an annual event held in Seminole, Oklahoma, to honor the memory of Sergeant Bret D. Isenhower, who was killed in action in Afghanistan on September 9, 2011. The event features a 5K run and a 1-mile fun run, with all proceeds supporting the Sgt. Bret D. Isenhower Memorial Scholarship established at East Central University. “Rooster Days” – A Local Tradition In the Spring of 1931, there was a thriving poultry industry on the farms and acreage surrounding Broken Arrow.  Secretary-Manager of the chamber at that time, Leo S. Wortman, came up with the idea of establishing a special day for farmers to bring to market their excess roosters.  On that first Rooster Day, about 5,000 pounds of roosters, more than two tons, were sold here. There were prizes for the best rooster, the biggest, noisiest, etc.  A highlight of the day was a sound system, which played music noisily all day. People gathered to visit and to enjoy each other’s company. Even though the rooster has just about disappeared, we still celebrate annually in what has come to be the oldest festival in Oklahoma known as Rooster Days. Our annual 5K Run/Walk will be held on Saturday, May 16th at 8am.  Race location will start at P&HCC - Stuart Site. **When Registering - If you are 5-17 years old, please select SPECIAL PRICING!   This race is part of the Town of Stuart's annual Strawberry Festival held every year in May. Runners enjoy a nice run along the Town of Stuart/Dehart Park Trail before the festival starts. Pre-registered runners are guaranteed a Christmas Ornament and other special gifts!
