Run or walk as we REMEMBER THE TEN we lost on May 18, 2018. Come honor all our fallen heroes at the Killeen Fallen Heroes 5k. This race is part of the Centex Race Series. All runners will receive points and we will award 1st , 2nd and 3rd place medals for each Female/Male age group and Female/Male overall winners.

The racecourse for the Best 5K on the Brazos is a flat and scenic course that runs along the Brazos River from Indian Spring Park. Take this opportunity to possibly set a personal record for the 5K. This is the target race for the Waco Women's Training Program. So, please come out and support them as this will be the first 5K race for many of them. The 5K awards will include medals for the top overall male and female and for the first 3 male and female finishers in 5 yr. age categories from 14 and under to 65 and over. Note: Dogs are not allowed on the course for insurance and safety reasons.

Join us for the SIXTH ANNUAL MINDY MOSES 5K MEMORIAL FUN RUN on May 16, 2026 at Clark Park in Bellville.  The 5K Memorial Fun Run is a timed race and will begin at 8am.  Awards will be provided to winners,   T-shirts will also be provided to runners registered by May 2nd.  A limited number of t-shirts and merchandise will be available at the run for purchase.  The cost for the 5K is $30.  All profits generated from the race, after expenses, will go into the Mindy Moses Memorial Fund.  This fund was set up to help support kids and community events in Memory of Mindy.

The Human Potential Running Series Presents:The Endure Trail Runs @ Mueller State Park The Endure 12-Hour is a one-of-a-kind 12-Hour timed event designed by YOU… and tiny colorful balls. Each runner will pull colored balls from a bucket, which determines the loop they’ll next run. This continues for up to 12 hours; the runner’s result is the miles they ran within the allotted time. Two-day adult sailing classes are offered most weekends from 9 am to 4 pm at Fiddler's Cove Marina. Classes are open to all eligible MWR patrons and sponsored guests. Minimum age requirement is 16 years or older with a parent or guardian.   **A minimum of 6 hours of sail time at the Intermediate level (Catalina Capri 22) is required post Intermediate sailing course.  Class fees per person vary by military affiliation and rank. Dependent fees are calculated at the sponsoring active duty or retiree rate. Pre-registration is required as classes can fill up quickly. Registration includes boat rental, instruction, and textbooks. Students per boat will be kept to the minimum amount possible in order to maximize learning potential, and will range from one to four. Number of students per boat is dependent on the boat size, sailing conditions and the skills being developed in the class. There’s a 5K for adults and older kids and a 1K Fun Run for the little ones. Don’t worry though, because there aren’t any real cow paddies to avoid. The name is just part of the tradition of this race, which has played a big part in developing Fayetteville’s pro-fitness, pro-fun culture over the years!     The Cow Paddy Run produced by The Spark Foundation focuses on helping students and families build habits for an active, healthy lifestyle. We offer a “pay-your-age” program for runners 5-12 and proceeds directly support physical education in local schools through the school participation prize. As part of our mission, we want the focus on running to be fun and accessible. The Spirit Challenge Run for Autism offers three different distances, a 10k, 5k and Kid’s Fun Run. All races are on paved roads, except for the 5k which has a short section on trail. The Kid’s Fun Run is an 800m run consisting of 2 laps around the Steamboat Springs Middle School track. The Spirit Challenge Run for Autism is a long standing race in the Steamboat Springs Running Series, and gives runners a chance to get those feet moving after a long winter in the Yampa Valley.  Come out and support this fun local race!

The Faith Over Fear 5k is in Memory of Karsen Elyse Cook. She was 23 years old and passed away from colon cancer in September 2020. All of the proceeds from this 5k will benefit the Karsen E Cook Scholarship Fund. This scholarship is awarded to local High School Seniors who have been affected by cancer in some way in their lives. Feel free to make donations at the 5k.

The Pike Distance Devils in conjunction with Pike Township Wellness presents the 2025 Red Devil Dash. This year's race features two distances for your racing pleasure - 1K & 5K. This fun and flowing circuit of about 10 miles first became a series stop in 2001 and has been a favorite course ever since. ​This race is part of the annual Northern Indiana Fat Northern Indiana Fat & Skinny Tire Festival, which includes road bike events, kids events, demos, entertainment, seminars, and much more. Involvement from the community is second to none at Winona Lake, and there are plenty of non-cycling activities for families and friends to see and do.  ​Camping: Camping is available for free at the race site "Donation to KCV Cycling encouraged", Tent & RV "Ground permitting". There is some RV / trailer camping at the Kosciusko County Fairgrounds. No tent camping is permitted at fairgrounds.  ​NOTE: This is a "rain or shine" venue. The Cheaha Challenge Gran Fondo is a ride for all cyclists, no matter your experience level in the sport.  This ride has a bit of everything from the ULTRA course that features 126 miles of the toughest terrain around, down to the traditional 100, 84, 62, 44 and 24 mile routes on the Challenge course and the 50,25 and 12 mile options for the Chief Ladiga Cruise.  Some of those distances offer the chance to ride up Mount Cheaha, the highest point in the state of Alabama.   The ride started as a recreational ride that riders would participate in with the goal of racing the course to get a fast time, while others would start with the singular goal of simply finishing.  The ride still offers those opportunities to this day, but they are a bit more defined than it was in 1993.  There is a competitive aspect to the ride with both the UCI Gran Fondo World Series and Gran Fondo National Series affiliations to qualify for the UCI World Championships and USA Cycling Gran Fondo National Champions

Join us for the annual Torrance Armed Forces Day Stars and Strides 5K touring around beautiful Torrance, California on Saturday, May 16th at 8:00am! The La Jolla Half Marathon is one of America's most picturesque and beautiful point-to-point races. Starting at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, the course follows a scenic coastal route before reaching the challenging climb to the summit of Torrey Pines State Park. The course then rolls atop Torrey Pines mesa, continues down through residential La Jolla Shores, and finishes at La Jolla Cove. For those interested in a shorter option, the La Jolla Shores 5K offers a mostly downhill course and features some of the most scenic views of the last 3.1 miles of the half marathon course.

The Ultimate Swedish Festival is held on the 3rd week in May, and we invite you to Run/Walk, Experience, and Taste the rich culture of Sweden in Kingsburg. UC Davis Children's Hospital provides lifesaving care for babies at risk of NEC, and the NEC Society is the world's leading nonprofit advancing NEC research, education, and advocacy. This exciting community event begins and ends at El Rancho High School, taking participants on a scenic course toward the San Gabriel River spreading grounds before finishing back on campus. Runners will have the opportunity to cross the finish line on the all-weather track at the Don Memorial Stadium.  Whether you're a competitive runner, casual walker, student, parent, or community supporter, this event is a great way to stay active, connect with the community, and support student programs across the district. On Saturday, May 16, 2026, the City of Beaumont will celebrate the return of Breezin’ Through Beaumont. This event consists of a 5k road race. Everyone is encouraged to come out and watch this exciting event.  The race will begin in front of the Beaumont Civic Center, located at: 550 E. Sixth St., Beaumont, CA 92223. and continue along the islands of Palm Avenue to 13th Street before returning southbound to 8th Street where the race will wind around Stewart Park before finishing back at the Civic Center.
