US Road Running Races US Road Running races are built for runners and walkers who like friendly, low-pressure race days with just enough competition to keep things exciting. Our events are local, welcoming, and easy to jump into, whether you are chasing a PR, collecting another themed medal, working toward series points, or just getting outside with good people. Most races are small enough to feel personal but organized enough to feel official. You can expect a clear course, helpful race staff, finisher medals, results, and a relaxed community feel. Bring your fast shoes, your steady walking pace, your favorite running buddy, or your best “I signed up for this on purpose” smile. We will be glad to see you at the start line. A quick race-day note: because many US Road Running events are small local races, we normally have one or two staff members at each race. EMS is not stationed on site, and water stations are limited to the finish area at the end of each lap and at the race finish. Since 2013, runners from across the Midwest have gathered to celebrate the end of the year with a one-of-a-kind event: an indoor, last-person-standing progression run! Hosted on the Pettit National Ice Center's 443m track, runners speed up every 3 laps (0.84 miles), until they can't go any faster. With two options for when to start progressing (~6:30 or ~6:10), runners keep running as long as they can hang with the ever increasing pace. When it's down to the final pack, The Bell will be rung and a 3 lap first-to-the-finish race to determine the top places is on. GrindFest promises to be a blast for all, from runners to spectators, with prizes for the most creative and fastest teams, the athletes who run furthest in an ugly sweater, a prediction contest, and of course, the coveted Mom of the Year award. Join us for our annual celebration of running and holiday cheer! Run through scenic Shorty Howell park and support Rainbow Village. Red beans and rice, snacks and a DJ music for a post race party! Raffle prizes and age group awards. Registration is still open. However, anyone registering between now and the start of the race is paying $10 less because we can't guarantee a T-shirt. If we do have extra shirts and you decide you want one, we will charge you $10 morning of the race. Long sleeve t-shirt only guaranteed to anyone signed up by 4 PM on Friday, December 26. In 2024, we served 50 families. Fundraising goal: $2000 would provide 10 beds, ensuring that new families moving into Rainbow Village have a comfortable place to rest.

Location & Information About Join us on December 28th for these inaugural holiday season races, the Queens NYC Chiller Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K. The runner's designed course, named The Rocket, uses long tree lined promenades with vistas of the city, massive Unisphere and Rocket Thrower installations, and all that makes Flushing Meadow Corona Park the heart of this amazing community. The course for Half Marathon athletes is a fast 3.27 mile loop that they complete 4 times. 10K athletes run most of the same course with a short cut off so that they complete 3.1 miles for each loop, thus completing 2 loops to finish. 5K athletes run this same course once. Each loop is chip timed real time, with digital mapping, and live streaming. It's a wonderful way to keep up with your racing in the most incredible city in the world. Join us! Race Starts at 10:00 AM Here are a few points you need to keep in mind before registering for the Last Chance Mile. There are NO restrooms available within the park. Lakeshore Park is not staffed daily in the off season. If we get hammered with snow, there will be no plowing or salting of the park roads. In the event of very bad weather on race morning, we may have to make the tough call of cancelling the event for safety. If this happens, will will make one attempt to reschedule to January 4, 2026. If we are unable to complete the event on January 4th everyone will be transferred to a virtual event. No refunds. With all this being said, we live in Northeast Ohio, it snows. The Appleseeds Track Camp is an introduction into the world of Track & Field for kids of all ages. The camp is open to kids from ages 5 to 18. Climb to Bullwinkles in honor or in memory of a loved one touched by cancer. This season’s event has a minimum donation of $25 per person ($10 for ages 12 and under) All participants must register online in advance. Registered participants will gather at the Super Quad at 4:30pm to prepare for a 5pm departure and must bring a headlamp or flashlight and plenty of water. Please note: no dogs or sledding allowed. The Goodbye New Year's Eve series is in it's 12th year and new day- December 30th! We wanted runners to have more options for racing at years end! Our goal is to offer a low cost, low frills last chance to gather and run in 2026. The event will be located at the RARA building located at 500 East Second St in downtown Rochester. Indoor space to warm up and use the restroom! Get a head start on your New Year's Resolution by enjoying a family-friendly, neighborhood streets 5K starting & finishing at Edora Pool Ice Center (EPIC). Perfect Timing is a Race Management and Timing Service that manages and times races mainly in south central Indiana. The primary goal of our services is to provide a low-cost computerized timing option for road races and cross-country races that are 500 people and under per race. We do not chip time which keeps costs down and helps you keep more money for the cause that you are partnered with.  We are now partnering with RSU and will help races set up their registration page(s) to optimize your race's potential to get the most sign ups possible, streamline your race day check in and registration as well as enhance your fundraising opportunities through their software options.

Rainbow Dash isn’t your average community run—it’s a day built around inclusion, joy, and support for LGBTQIA+ youth. This event features a certified 5K course through scenic Seneca Park, designed for runners, walkers, and rollers of all abilities. The loop is accessible for strollers and wheelchairs, with plenty of rest stops and clear course markers. But Rainbow Dash goes beyond the finish line. Throughout the morning, you’ll find playful “Wacky Race” challenges—think costume relays, obstacle segments, and interactive pit stops where teams can earn prizes for creativity, teamwork, and spirit. Whether you’re competitive or just out for a good time, there’s something for everyone. Proceeds benefit Louisville Youth Group’s year-round programs for LGBTQIA+ youth, so every step and laugh makes a difference. Come as you are, bring your friends, and celebrate community with us.
