MTB Time Trial: Kick off the weekend with a Friday evening ride! This MTB time trial event will have each participant going off in 1 minute intervals. It is you versus the clock, are you ready? MTB Enduro: The James River Park trails will give local mountain bikers and visiting riders alike a chance to test their skills. The rock gardens, short steep climbs, creek crossings, fast downhills, and twisty single-track trails are both technically challenging and physically demanding. Riders will complete stages at Dogwood Dell, Forest Hill Park, and Belle Isle for a total of 6-8 timed miles. The transition stages (the riding required to get from one stage to the next) are not timed and do not count toward standings. Pedal hard when it counts and take it easy on the in-betweens.

This year's course will be starting at Adventure Park in Powell and wind its way north through the awesome Powell trail system up to Liberty Park area and then back.   FORMAT: Live and IN PERSON on May 16th Starting at 9:00 am.    VIRTUAL OPTION: We will also have a Virtual Option (like last year). This race window is from Friday, May 15th through Monday, May 18th. While he exceled in sport, Marcus was a young man who also put a tremendous amount of focus towards his academics and was highly respectful to all people that he interacted with. The event includes a chip-timed 5K race, a 2 Mile Fun "Walk & Roll", a Kid's Dash, a Diaper Dash and a Corn Hole tournament. The Family Fun Day includes music, games, All Star Dance performances, face-painting, a balloon artist, lawn games, inflatable activities for toddlers and children, yoga, raffle baskets, and food and beverage sales. Celebrity guest appearances are planned.  Virtual 5K Runs / Walks can also take place anywhere.  Just complete your 5K Run / Walk anytime between May 1, 2026 and May 16, 2026 by 11:00 PM and submit your results online. The “Boots on The Ground” race consists of a 5k family-oriented, pet-friendly, fun walk or run, as well as a more demanding 10k run (twice around the 5k course) starting at 9:00 AM with an Honor Guard Salute. Hosted in incorporation by both Lt. Charles A. Meyer, American Legion Post 86, Newton, NJ, and Skylands Stadium, Augusta, NJ.  The sports campus is perfectly suited for the race in that it is flat. The race route is primarily asphalt with some gravel or sand areas. Especially inside of the baseball field near the warning track.  Lt. Charles A. This is a fun Color Run run to honor the life and legacy of a local young adult, Morgan Patten. Proceeds will benefit the Morgan’s Miles To Go Foundation (501(c)(3). Morgan Patten was tragically and mysteriously killed while visiting her fiance in North Carolina in 2019.  A vibrant and beautiful young woman from Bradford, NH/Kearsarge Area accepted to law school and to be married to her true love.  An avid environmentalist and runner.  Keep her legacy of love and adventure alive! Run for Morgan!!!

The historic Berryman Trail is an approximately 26.4-mile single-track loop located in the Mark Twain National Forest. Run one loop for the Marathon, and two loops for the 50+-Mile race. The loop is entirely forested and continuously hilly, with a total elevation gain/loss of 2500 ft/2500 ft per loop.

A 4-time winner of the Road Runners Club of America Marathon State Championship designation, the Whitefish Marathon has become one of the largest marathons in Montana.  Over 1,600 runners registered are expected in 2026. We will be back at the same location as last year—1409 E Cherry Street, the field next to Sleepy Opossum Cafe—following our tried-and-true route.  This family-friendly event welcomes animal lovers and athletes of all ages and experience levels. Well-socialized, leashed pups are encouraged (no retractable leashes). Choose from a 1-mile, 5K, or virtual race option. Every step supports Rescue One and helps save lives!
