Strasburg Mayfest 5K – Benefiting Abigail's JourneyThe Strasburg Mayfest Committee, in collaboration with the Town of Strasburg, is proud to host this year’s Mayfest 5K to benefit Abigail's Journey. Abigail is a courageous 3-year-old girl with complex medical needs who has faced big challenges from birth. Her journey includes ongoing care, therapies, and out-of-state medical treatment, including an upcoming airway reconstruction surgery in Boston on April 6. Join the WOLF PACK for a trail 1/2 Marathon, 6 Hours of Power, 10K, 5K & 20K Relay in John Bryan State Park! John Bryan State Park is distinguished by its remarkable limestone gorge, which the Little Miami State and National Scenic River cut many years ago. The gorge, a National Natural Landmark, offers hikers splendid views from the trail. Our 2026 Spring 5k, which will be held at in downtown Rossford, OH on May 9th. It is the culmination of our Girls on the Run of Northwest Ohio Spring season. Join us for this day of mountain biking, camaraderie, chilling with your teammates in the pop-up tent city, cooking out, maybe getting muddy, and definitely having a great time on some of the best trails in Virginia. It's fast and smooth and really, really fun out there at Shenandoah River State Park! Test your endurance by taking on the 6-hour mountain bike course, as a solo, or on a 2 or 3-person team. Join us for the 3rd Share Your Strength 5k on Saturday May 9.  Share Your Strength is an organization that recognizes the importance of ongoing physical rehabilitation services for people when medical insurance caps coverage for those services and will not cover the costs of them.  This race will support the continuing recovery of Jan Sheffield who was diagnosed as a tetraplegic in August 2022.  She has made amazing advances such as standing alone and using her hands and arms for simple tasks that so many of us take for granted. Her goal is to regain most of her function - even walking.  These advances can only occur because of her positive determination and countless hours of therapy.    All proceeds will fund Jan's ongoing therapy costs that are crucial for her continued improvement and recovery.   The cost is $30 through May 9 with race day registration cost of $35 and included a custom race t-shirt.  The cost of a virtual 5k is $35 and includes a custom race t-shirt.  Check in

Run for Stacy: A Community 5K We’ve known Stacy as a helper, a good neighbor, a loyal friend — and our favorite “cake therapist.” She’s the kind of person who quietly shows up for others without ever asking for anything in return. In June 2025, Stacy was diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Since then, her world has shifted overnight. She is no longer able to work, and her focus is now fully on treatment, rest, and spending meaningful time with the people she cares about most. This 5K is our opportunity to return her kindness. Panther Prowl 5KWelcome to the 3rd annual Panther Prowl 5K.  We invite you to spend your morning running or walking through the neighborhoods of Holliston with family and friends.  All profit will be going to the nonprofit organization: American Cancer Society. The Lemont Quarryman Challenge 5K and 10-mile race offers runners a challenging course in Lemont's unique, scenic and small town setting.  The 5K and 10-mile race start and finish in historic downtown Lemont and wind through the hilly neighborhoods of Lemont. **Must be registered by April 25th to be guaranteed a race shirt.**

The Sterling Police Department is hosting our 4th annual Run For the Badge 5K. This is a FREE event but donations will be accepted at the door for C.O.P.S. (Concerns Of Police Survivors). The event will begin and end at the Sterling Township Building located at 505 W. Lynn Blvd in Sterling. Strollers and well-mannered dogs are welcome. Explore the Cap Sauers Holding Nature Preserve - the largest tract of undeveloped land in Cook County, IL. This race will cover every inch of maintained trail within the Nature Preserve. With over 1000 ft of elevation, this marathon is mountainous by Chicago standards! The course uses the Sag Valley Trail system, covering the Yellow, Green, Blue & Tan trails. What is the Sangamon Cycling Series? The Sangamon Cycling Series (SCS) is a four-month training program designed to help cyclists build fitness over the summer and connect with other cyclists. The program is organized by the Springfield Bicycle Club. Your registration includes entry into four supported rides starting at various locations in the Sangamon County, Illinois area. Each ride features different distances ranging from 25 miles to 100 miles. It's your choice which distance to ride. Back for a 12th year, the 2026 Starved Rock Country Marathon and Half Marathon, 5K and now 10K  have become the "must do" events of the running community in central Illinois. The Marathon course will again encompass the scenery of the Illinois River, the neighborhoods of Ottawa, and the rolling landscapes in and around Starved Rock State Park. Runners will be inspired by the scenery of rolling country hills and natural rock formations tucked into heavily wooded areas created by the Illinois River thousands of years ago. This record eligible marathon course has 16 aide stations with Gatorade at each station and we plan to stock one station for the half and two for the marathon with GU. The O4W5K is a run/walk through the streets of the historic Old Fourth Ward benefitting Hope-Hill Elementary, the traditional K-5 public school serving the O4W neighborhood.  The race starts across the street from Ponce City Market, at the base of Historic Old Fourth Ward park, and runs throughout the O4W, including Auburn Avenue where the MLK Jr. Historic District is located.  T-SHIRTS: We have the best tees of any other 5K in Atlanta. You're going to love them! Sign up by April 10 for a guaranteed t-shirt in your size.  We are low on many t-shirt sizes.
