This race is NOT a timed event- We are focused on raising awareness and support for foster kids in our community.  Did you know there are roughly 60 foster homes in rural Nevada for the 400 youth in foster care? Some counties have as many as 14 homes, some counties have as little as 1 or 2. There are even Nevada counties that have no foster homes. When there are not enough foster homes in any given community, children are at risk of being displaced to outside communities, bringing forth a whole new set of challenges and setbacks. Join us in bringing attention to our HUGE need for foster homes, because every child deserv
