The Sunset Run is a 5k event along Bayou Grande in the community of Navy Point in Pensacola.  The course starts and ends at St. John Catholic School and is fast and flat for participants of all activity levels.  All registered  5k participants will receive a Sunset Run shirt and a custom finish medal at the finish line, while supplies last. This is not a professionally timed race event for individual awards.  A one mile "fun run" will be held after the 5k.  The 42nd annual St. John Sunset Run is an excellent participation event for children and families to enjoy together, with a celebration of music and food following the run.     Packet pickup will be held on Friday, May 9th from 4:00 to 6:00 pm at St. John Catholic School (325 S. Run for Stacy: A Community 5K We’ve known Stacy as a helper, a good neighbor, a loyal friend — and our favorite “cake therapist.” She’s the kind of person who quietly shows up for others without ever asking for anything in return. In June 2025, Stacy was diagnosed with glioblastoma, an aggressive form of brain cancer. Since then, her world has shifted overnight. She is no longer able to work, and her focus is now fully on treatment, rest, and spending meaningful time with the people she cares about most. This 5K is our opportunity to return her kindness. We are excited to say that we are returning for our traditional Sunday (Mother's Day) event!!!  The Crab Run consists of a half marathon (13.1 miles) immediately followed by a 5k (3.1 miles) run, all from the grounds of Gerry Boyle Park at Great Marsh, located at 0 Somerset Avenue, Cambridge. Our half marathon follows the same course as the Eagleman event in June, a perfect opportunity for a preview of the course in cooler temperatures.  This race takes you past the Choptank river at the start before rolling out to the country roads of Dorchester County.  If you are looking for a challenge, why not sign up for the KING CRAB challenge?
