The Nags Head Woods 5K is the oldest charity race on the Outer Banks. Held annually on Saturday morning of Mother's Day Weekend, this year in 2026, this race celebrates its 40th Anniversary!! the NHW5K is a down and back race along the gravel road through the Nags Head Woods Ecological Preserve, which is part of The Nature Conservancy of North Carolina. There is also a fun run and a 1-mile "Walk in the Woods" that accompanies the main 5K race. First Flight Rotary Club hosts the event as one of it's signature fundraising events for the club Foundation. First Flight Rotary Club Foundation is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit that focuses on supporting charitable initiatives in and around the Outer Banks Community such as other nonprofits and service projects lead by the First Flight Rotary Club.

Calling all future, current and past Grand Oaks Grizzlies, family and friends and community members. Join us in a friendly competition to see which GOHS feeder school has the most Grizzly pride while we take on a 1k, 2M or 5K course throughout the campus of GOHS. The Race to Grand Oaks serves as a means to embrace healthy competition between all of the feeder schools while promoting our Grizzly Pride! Proceeds from this event will be shared between the GOHS and York Girls' Cross Country / Track teams. Mind-The-Ducks 12-Hour is an ultramarathon run on a circular course for 12 continuous hours. The goal is simple--run as many laps/miles as you can in 12 hours. The scoring is also simple. One lap is 1.01203 long. One lap counts for 1.01203 miles, two laps - 2.02406 miles, ten laps - 10.1203 miles, and so on. Whoever completes most laps/miles is the winner of the race. Only full laps count. No partial laps. The Dawn To Dusk To Dawn Track Ultras are run on Academy Park’s Knight Track located at Academy Park High School, 300 Calcon Hook Road, Sharon Hill, PA, 19079.  It is a USATF certified 400M all purpose track (USATF cert # PA18001BW).  USATF 2026 Sanction is pending. Water, a sports drink, and snacks will be provided trackside.  Limited kitchen facility available at this time, so bring you own food.  We will have a menu later.  This is a CUPLESS RACE. Bring reusable cups, bottles, pack, or whatever else to manage your hydration. Port-a-Johns will be available trackside. D3 will have the IAU's BRONZE LABEL! The Mighty Mother's Day Duathlon is a great way to start your season! This event has been a mainstay on the multi-sport scene for over 20 years with a very flat 3 lap bike course and some grass and dirt on the run. Celebrate the ladies in your life! Sparkling cider, chocolate and awards await you at the finish line! Adult Race: Run: 1.8 miles, Bike: 10.5 miles, Second run: 1.8 miles Start Time: 8:30am Time Trial Start: 8:32am. Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish. Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Gagliardi Foundation is proud to announce the 4th annual 5K run and 1 Mile Fun Walk in honor of Vincent "Vinny" who tragically passed away on October 8th, 2021.  The event will take place at Duke Island Park in Bridgewater. The goal of this event is to raise funds for the Vincent R. Gagliardi Foundation, and to keep Vincent’s memory alive.  All net proceeds go directly to the Foundation, and will be used to award an Annual Memorial Scholarship to deserving Somerville High School students and to educate the community on driver safety.  This is an opportunity to celebrate Vincent's life and help create a powerful impact for both his family and future recipients of this award.  The Vincent R. RIVAURA ESTATE VINEYARD AND WINERY proudly presents our 6th annual Rivaura Rosé River Run/Walk: This family-friendly 5K will start at Rivaura's beautiful event barn located inside the south vineyard. Participants will run through the vineyard before running west onto Hewett Road headed towards Spaulding Park. About half way down, there will be a turnaround point-with a shot of rosé! Racers will follow the same route and eventually return back through the vineyard, finishing at the event barn. Every year the race has grown!
