Warren County Parks and Recreation is hosting the 3rd Annual P.A.C.E. Marathon and Half Marathon in 2026! PACE stands for Parks and Community Events, and the goal of this race is to have people experience these two communities. This year's race will feature the communities of Smiths Grove and Oakland, a truly beautiful section of Warren County, KY. All marathon and half marathon participants will receive a shirt, and marathon and half marathon finishers will receive a unique medal that features these two communities. This is a rural route that will have you oohing and aahing as you run.  Early packet pick-up for ALL races will be available Friday, May 8th from 6:00-9:00pm at Ed Spear Park. Please arrive to check in and pick-up your bib and t-shirt no later than 6:15 am on Saturday if you are unable to pick up on Friday. BOTH Half and Full marathon will begin at 7:00am. Storm the beach into your 400 Meter swim along the Tellico dam for and out over and back swim course.  The Olympic is a 1600 Yard Swim by the dam! Come out onto the beach and make your way to our transition area to hit out on the 16-mile rolling hill bike course. the Olympic course will take you a little further for an even more scenic (if that's possible) 25 miles.  The sights are beautiful! The Sterling Police Department is hosting our 4th annual Run For the Badge 5K. This is a FREE event but donations will be accepted at the door for C.O.P.S. (Concerns Of Police Survivors). The event will begin and end at the Sterling Township Building located at 505 W. Lynn Blvd in Sterling. Strollers and well-mannered dogs are welcome. Please note that this is a community event and is not an officially timed race. The first 100 people to register will receive a free t-shirt. Water and a snack will be provided. The Lemont Quarryman Challenge 5K and 10-mile race offers runners a challenging course in Lemont's unique, scenic and small town setting.  The 5K and 10-mile race start and finish in historic downtown Lemont and wind through the hilly neighborhoods of Lemont. **Must be registered by April 25th to be guaranteed a race shirt.**

The Capitol City Crit is a closed-course criterium set against the iconic backdrop of the North Dakota State Capitol Grounds. Known for its fast corners and spectator-friendly layout, this event challenges racers to combine speed, tactics, and endurance in a tight, thrilling loop through the heart of Bismarck.   We’re keeping the extended 1.2-mile lap distance — offering racers more chances for attacks, strategy, and recovery. All races will run counter-clockwise, with the start/finish line located near the State Library on the east side of the course. Each race begins with a half-lap lead-in paced by an official.

All 1mi, 5k, 10k, and 15k participants will receive their choice of one of the following: a tutu in the color of your choice (9 colors to choose from), a super soft race t-shirt, long sleeve shirt, hooded sweatshirt or extra flower and vase. DescriptionThe Ultimate Raider Challenge is hosted by the Grant Co HS JROTC and is a dynamic physical fitness competition designed to test teams and individual competitors’ endurance, speed, and agility, and teams' overall teamwork. The event is one continuous race that begins with a 1-mile run to assess cardiovascular stamina and set the tone for the day.  The 1-mile run will end at the 1st Obstacle Course Obstacle.  Competitors then tackle an approximately 1.5-mile obstacle course, navigating through a variety of physical challenges that test strength, coordination, and mental toughness. After the last obstacle, participants continue directly to the football field to sprint through a shuttle run, emphasizing quick bursts of speed, strength, stamina, agility, and precise movement. Back for a 12th year, the 2026 Starved Rock Country Marathon and Half Marathon, 5K and now 10K  have become the "must do" events of the running community in central Illinois. The Marathon course will again encompass the scenery of the Illinois River, the neighborhoods of Ottawa, and the rolling landscapes in and around Starved Rock State Park. Runners will be inspired by the scenery of rolling country hills and natural rock formations tucked into heavily wooded areas created by the Illinois River thousands of years ago. Saturday In The Park is a 5K race and 1 mile Fun Run open to the public and is sponsored by Run4Fun. The 5K course is through the lovely Independence Riverside Park and adjoining street while the fun run is within the park complex. There will be finisher medals and snacks at the finish line. Top finishers will be recognized.     We welcome runners of all ages! Between the 5K and fun run, our event includes a fifty yard Tot-trot for children 5 and under.  No registration is required for the Tot-trot. Each tot receives a medal for finishing. Panther Prowl 5KWelcome to the 3rd annual Panther Prowl 5K.  We invite you to spend your morning running or walking through the neighborhoods of Holliston with family and friends.  All profit will be going to the nonprofit organization: American Cancer Society. Route: Start/Finish at Holliston High School. Out of the parking lot, left onto Hollis St., left onto Highland St. and quick right onto Prentice St. Right on to Mill St., stay left onto North Mill St., left onto Hargrave and continue onto Bonney, left onto Prentice St. back to high school (first left back to Start Line). Welcome to the 6th annual Flock Cancer Street Stroll!   This year we are proud to bring you the Green's Heating and Air Flock Cancer Street Stroll presented by Blue Cross of Idaho!! Our stroll is a community event to celebrate, honor, raise awareness and money for local breast cancer fighters and families. For the Fighters, the Survivors, and the Taken — We Remember, We Fight, We Hope.  We will gather to stroll the blocks along Harrison Boulevard in Boise, Idaho.  The rain or shine stroll is one loop – starting and ending where you please – clockwise around the boulevard. Indiana’s youngest runners are hitting the streets for the 500 Festival Rookie Run, presented by Peyton Manning Children's Hospital! This non-competitive fun run gives kids ages 3-10 the chance to get active and experience the excitement of a race - complete with a start and finish line production, cheering section, participant bib, and finisher medal. The Rookie Run takes place during Kids’ Day, Indiana’s largest free outdoor festival for kids! Held in downtown Indianapolis, the race happens one block north of Monument Circle at Ohio and Meridian streets. Sprint, Stroll, Slay: Indy Pride 5K Sprint, Stroll, Slay, or Sashay in the annual Indy Pride 5K! The Indy Pride 5K will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 9:00 AM (and conclude by 12:00 PM). Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or somewhere in between, everyone is welcome to participate and show their support for the LGBTQ+ community. This year, the race moves to White River State Park, following the beautiful and scenic White River trail system and finishing in the heart of Indy Pride Fest’s new expanded home.
