Sprint, Stroll, Slay: Indy Pride 5K Sprint, Stroll, Slay, or Sashay in the annual Indy Pride 5K! The Indy Pride 5K will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, at 9:00 AM (and conclude by 12:00 PM). Whether you’re a seasoned runner, a casual walker, or somewhere in between, everyone is welcome to participate and show their support for the LGBTQ+ community. This year, the race moves to White River State Park, following the beautiful and scenic White River trail system and finishing in the heart of Indy Pride Fest’s new expanded home. Saturday In The Park is a 5K race and 1 mile Fun Run open to the public and is sponsored by Run4Fun. The 5K course is through the lovely Independence Riverside Park and adjoining street while the fun run is within the park complex. There will be finisher medals and snacks at the finish line. Top finishers will be recognized.     We welcome runners of all ages! Between the 5K and fun run, our event includes a fifty yard Tot-trot for children 5 and under.  No registration is required for the Tot-trot. Each tot receives a medal for finishing. The Sacandaga Sprint 5K is a race taking place in Northville, NY on Saturday, May 9, 2026. The RELAY CHALLENGE is a community event for 6-12 grade students of Sylvania and Sylvania Township to participate in a unique and memorable experience. The Relay will include as many as 20 teams, made up of ten (10) members each.  Each participant will run or walk at least one mile at a time, then pass the timing chip to the next member, and so on.  This process will continue for the entire event. McConnell 5K Course Records Male: James Zeuch  15:37.60 (2017)Female: Julia Harris  18:35.20 (2025) The 15th Annual McConnell 5K Run/Walk and 1 Mile Walk fundraiser, benefiting the OhioHealth Foundation, will be held on Saturday, May 9, 2026, on the McConnell Heart Health Center campus. This race takes place on a combination of paved road surfaces and a beautiful, partially-wooded looped trail on the OhioHealth McConnell Heart Health Center property. The 5K course is mostly flat, with one or two hills. The 1-Mile Walk event will start at 8:30am followed by the 5K Walk/Run event at 9:00am. The first half of the 5K course is on roads and a loop of the front parking lot, and the second half on the beautiful trail around the McConnell campus. The wooded trail has rolling hills and one challenging incline.

PACE stands for Parks and Community Events, and the goal of this race is to have people experience these two communities. The Course The race will start and finish in downtown Dardanelle. The course, 2 miles out and back, follows along Front Street in Dardanelle and features several views of the Arkansas River and the Dardanelle Rock. Registration Race Day registration will begin at 7 a.m. near the Gazebo on Front Street in Dardanelle.  Pre registered runners can pick up t-shirts at this time. The annual Waves & Whales 5K Trail Run‐Walk is held on the Mendocino Coast in Point Arena. Taking full advantage of the location, the run takes place on the Point Arena-Stornetta Unit of the California Coastal National Monument. The course begins behind City Hall in the conifer forest off Highway 1, makes its way to the coast where it follows the bluffs, and then winds back into the pine and cypress forest. Proceeds from the Waves & Whales Trail Run support ACORN Partners in Education’s environmental stewardship program, Students Protecting the Coast, which engages youth in hands‐on learning with a focus on conservation and community outreach. Students Protecting the Coast began during the 2012‐13 school year as part of the local and national campaign to include the Point Arena‐Stornetta Lands in the California Coastal National Monument. Students continue to learn about our coastal landscape and are empowered to use their voice by sharing what they’ve learned with the community

The race begins at 8 am Cedar Creek at 500 N Westberry in Madera, California. The runners will run north on Westberry and then turn left on Riverview until you come to an entrance to run along the cannel. You will turn around at the marked area and return to Cedar Creek where we will have breakfast and provide the runners with their times. Each runner will be provided with a T-shirt.
