Run to the "MAX" for Mental Health is a 5k trail run / fun walk at the Noccalula Falls Black Creek Trails in Gadsden, Al on May 9th, 2026. The run is being held to support the nonprofit organization MAXimizing Mental Health, Inc. that is named after our son Max Cochran, a young man who took his own life at age 19. Max was a beautiful, vibrant, loving, person that “lit up” the entire room every time he would walked in one. Unknown too many people, Max fought for many years to defeat his struggles with mental illness and was a very strong willed person that tried many different ways to overcome his personal battles. In the end life became more than he could endure. We want to bring awareness and remove the stigma of Mental Illness in our community, especially in our youth, and raise money so we can offer free Mental Health counseling to our community students. Grace's Place Rock the Block Race

Complete 24 laps of the 0.7 mile loop to help us raise money for Grace's Place Emergency Shelter, where we care for kids 24/7!  Or get some friends to do it with you and take turns taking laps, choose your distance, or just sign up for the "Whatever K" Run/Walk and do as many or few as you want. K?   The race will be held at Washington Fairgrounds in Washington, MO with a start time of 8 am with a cutoff time of 12 pm. Powers Catholic 5k Run/Walk

This is an officially timed run, open to everyone of all ability levels, through the campus grounds of Powers Catholic and the Michigan School for the Deaf.  Start and Finish lines are on the PCHS campus.  Registration and bib pick up starts at 10am on Saturday, May 9th.  The 5k race starts at 11am  The mile run will follow the conclusion of the 5k on the PCHS track The 5k will be an officially timed run by Rotpac Racing, with prizes for overall winners and age group winners.  Race day tee shirts are available for pre-order with some availability on race day. Shirt store may show that it is unavailable, they are working on getting it back up! Ghost Kitchen Food Truck and Tenacity Brewing, will be on campus from 10am until 2pm. The I Support The K9s Color Run 5K will be the twelfth 5K that the PLEA Foundation has run and we are excited to have everyone join us. So let's get out and celebrate MOM, the best way possible, with a nice run/walk with the family, delicious brews and fabulous tacos. No dishes to wash, no mess to clean up, just pure joy with MOM! Cavanal Killer 8k
