The Nags Head Woods 5K is the oldest charity race on the Outer Banks. Held annually on Saturday morning of Mother's Day Weekend, this year in 2026, this race celebrates its 40th Anniversary!! the NHW5K is a down and back race along the gravel road through the Nags Head Woods Ecological Preserve, which is part of The Nature Conservancy of North Carolina. There is also a fun run and a 1-mile "Walk in the Woods" that accompanies the main 5K race. First Flight Rotary Club hosts the event as one of it's signature fundraising events for the club Foundation. First Flight Rotary Club Foundation is a 501(C)(3) nonprofit that focuses on supporting charitable initiatives in and around the Outer Banks Community such as other nonprofits and service projects lead by the First Flight Rotary Club.

In Memory of Lisa Napoletano Lisa Napoletano was a Freshman at Marian and a member of the Cross Country and Track and Field teams. Early March, she was involved in an unfortunate ATV accident and passed away from her injuries. The Marian Community, Cross Country Team, and Track and Field Team was blessed to know her and have her in our lives, even for such a short period of time. Part of this event is dedicated to her memory and the impact she had on her school and her teams. In order to honor her, her family has set up a scholarship fund and non-profit organization "Lisa Napoletano-Running with the Angels" honoring her memory that is awarded to a member of the Cross Country Team, Track and Field Team, or is active in Snowboarding and that display strong team spirit and values academics. This option allows you to donate towards the scholarship fund in her memory as she Runs with the Angels.

The Capitol City Crit is a closed-course criterium set against the iconic backdrop of the North Dakota State Capitol Grounds. Known for its fast corners and spectator-friendly layout, this event challenges racers to combine speed, tactics, and endurance in a tight, thrilling loop through the heart of Bismarck.   We’re keeping the extended 1.2-mile lap distance — offering racers more chances for attacks, strategy, and recovery. All races will run counter-clockwise, with the start/finish line located near the State Library on the east side of the course. Each race begins with a half-lap lead-in paced by an official.

The Dawn To Dusk To Dawn Track Ultras are run on Academy Park’s Knight Track located at Academy Park High School, 300 Calcon Hook Road, Sharon Hill, PA, 19079.  It is a USATF certified 400M all purpose track (USATF cert # PA18001BW).  USATF 2026 Sanction is pending. Water, a sports drink, and snacks will be provided trackside.  Limited kitchen facility available at this time, so bring you own food.  We will have a menu later.  This is a CUPLESS RACE. Meet us at Randy Lane Park in South Bellmore for a fun morning on Screen Free Saturday!  (Saturday, May 9th). Join us for our Fifth Annual 5k Fun Run & Walk, the Loco Moco 5k (previously the Husky Hustle)! This is a fundraising event for our Oneida Elementary PTO. Our organization's mission is to provide opportunities for our students at no/low cost so funding isn't an issue for families struggling with financial concerns. This can range from field trips, scholarships, celebrations, and everything in between. Our goal is to raise money to continue our support for our schools while also creating a fun and safe community event. Mind-The-Ducks 12-Hour is an ultramarathon run on a circular course for 12 continuous hours. The goal is simple--run as many laps/miles as you can in 12 hours. The scoring is also simple. One lap is 1.01203 long. One lap counts for 1.01203 miles, two laps - 2.02406 miles, ten laps - 10.1203 miles, and so on. Whoever completes most laps/miles is the winner of the race. Only full laps count. No partial laps. The 4th annual student-led "Using Our Voices" Mental Health Run Series is an event grounded in the belief that students should be part of the change process, with genuine inclusivity achieved through active student engagement. It has now grown to include four districts: Patchogue-Medford, North Babylon, Connetquot, and New Hyde Park. The funds support students across Long Island by providing counseling opportunities and giving them the platform to display leadership, collaborate with peers from other districts, and contribute to an important cause.  The event is designed and executed entirely by students, who are involved in every aspect, from planning to race day. The goal is to share crucial messages about reducing stress and anxiety, building relationships, and supporting mental and physical health through movement. This 7.4-mile route starts at Kittredge Park, runs down Columbine, crosses through a special stretch of private Kittredge property, winds through the beautiful canyon trails of O’Fallon, and loops back to finish where we started. It’s challenging enough to earn it but inclusive enough for everyone to take part. Runners and hikers are both welcome (hikers will begin shortly after the runners).
