Come join the New Lenox School District 122 PTO, Wellness Committee and New Lenox Safe Community Coalition in supporting Mental Health and Wellness by participating in a 5K Run/Walk for Mental Health and Wellness event.  Start your day by walking or running the 5K and stay for the Wellness Fair. The Wellness Fair will include businesses from the surrounding areas that can aide in mental, physical and nutritional wellness as well as self-care.  Enjoy the family oriented activities and purchase some fabulous food from the food Trucks while you are there. Join the Kalkaska Cross Country and Track and Field teams as we present the return of the Wood Memorial Trout Run! The Wood Memorial Trout Run commemorates Chad Wood and his father Stafford. Chad was an avid runner and a youth leader in many ways. Stafford was a collegiate runner and ran countless races and marathons, who was one of Kalkaska’s treasured teachers, coaches, and administrators. In their memory, proceeds from the race are used to help fund the Kalkaska High School Cross Country and Track and Field teams. Stafford’s grandchildren and Chad’s niece and nephews have been avid runners; this race is a great way to pay homage to this family that has supported the Kalkaska Community over the years. The event serves as the Eagle Battalion's primary fundraiser each year to support additional educational and training opportunities and events for Cadets. Join us for the St. James Baptist Church Walk of Faith 5K! Come together with family, friends, and community members for a day of fun, fitness, and fellowship. Whether you're a seasoned runner or prefer a leisurely stroll, this event is perfect for all ages and fitness levels. Proceeds from the event will support church ministry and community projects.   The 5K route will take participants through the beautiful city of Forsyth, GA starting and ending at St. James Baptist Church. After the race, stay for music, refreshments, and an uplifting celebration of community and faith. Let’s move with purpose and praise! The last Saturday of April each spring, over 10,000 Badgers descend downtown State Street to kick off the Crazylegs Classic. Not surprisingly, the idea for this event was hatched in late 1981 by three Badger loyalists at a campus bar. The three, Tom Grantham, Ken Sparks, and Rich Backus, wanted to raise money to support UW Athletics. As admirers of then- Athletic Director Elroy Hirsch, they asked his permission to name it the "Crazylegs Run" in his honor. The first race in 1982 attracted 1,525 runners and raised $9,500. The event grew in popularity and the walk was added in 1987 with 676 walkers the first year. The event has grown substantially reaching a record high of 20,415 in 2010. Since the inaugural race 43 years ago, it has attracted over 354,000 runners and walkers. Join us for the fifth annual Emplify Health Marinette 5K Heart Run/Walk, 1 mile Community Walk, Celebration Walk, and Children's Run on Saturday, April 25. The course is flat and fast, and all participants receive a medal to celebrate their achievement. The mission of Emplify Health is to help improve the health and well-being of the communities we serve. This event will be a celebration of your commitment to getting active and staying healthy!

The Anacortes Women’s Wellness Run is a new annual event honoring the strength, well-being and ethos ofwomen. The race begins at waterfront Anacortes Seafarer’s Park. The event includes a 1k for kids 13 andyounger with start times by age. The main event is a 5k run/walk around the Cap Sante Marina. Anacortesinvites all ages and genders to lace up, move and connect.

The Fresh Picks Cherry Blossom Run is a beautiful features magnificent course(s) through Rowley & Hawkins Fruit Farms located near Basin City, Washington. It Features a 1 mile, 5k and 10k courses. The courses are designed to run through the most blossoms possible. Each route will travel on mostly hard packed dirt/ some gravel/dirt farm roads and down beautiful orchard rows with millions of blossoms. The 1mi is fairly flat and easy for all kids and ages to do, the 5k has some hills but also takes you through a variety of other cherry blossoms. The 10k will take you by the apples, peaches, apricots, sweet cherries, tart cherries, and vast open fields to show you some of eastern Washington's best countryside! Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish. Pricing: The registration fee covers the entire five (5) weeks of the Series which includes race bibs for each week, a runner shirt, a finisher medal and any sponsor giveaways. Registration is non-refundable and non-transferable.
