The Issaquah Turkey Trot 5K is a fun, casual, all-ages event benefitting the crucial work of the Issaquah Food & Clothing Bank to provide food and vital resources in East King County. When? Thanksgiving Morning @ 9 a.m. Where? Downtown Issaquah Kids can participate in a “Gobble Wobble” along the route, and trotters often show their spirit with Thanksgiving-themed costumes and accessories as they run, walk, stroll, or trot a three-mile course through the heart of picturesque downtown Issaquah. We welcomed over 5,000 trotters in 2025, and we are hoping to see another great turnout this year as our community rallies behind such an important cause. Thanksgiving Day Half Marathon and 5k on Thursday, November 26. The race will take place at Southern WV Community and Technical College in Williamson, West Virginia. The Half marathon runs through 2 states - West Virginia and Kentucky. The half marathon starts from the community college and runs along a neighborhood/school and onto the river path and comes out on Armory road. After that, it comes out on US 52 and up towards watertower hill. You turn left facing traffic as you enter on US 119 North for 7.45 miles. There you cross traffic and run down US 119 South towards Fairview Addition and finish back at the community college. 5k race starts from the community college and runs along the same neighborhood/school and onto the river path and comes out on Armory road and goes straight towards the waterstop turnaround point. From there, you come running back towards the community college. You do not run back on the river path. One mile walk is a down and back course. Go half a mile down and back. Start from the community college and walk .50 down and come back.

Join Morgantown Running at 9:00am on Thanksgiving Day for a trot around Morgantown with your family (but please, leave your dogs at home as they are not allowed). Participants can run or walk this 5k course that begins on the blue track by the WVU Coliseum. You will run almost an entire lap around the track before exiting and making a left onto Mon Blvd where you will go downhill, past Mountain State, towards the light. At the light, you will make a right turn onto Boyers Avenue followed shortly by a left turn onto Leeway Street. You will pass Sheetz and then make a left onto the rail trail. The last approximately 2 miles will be on the rail trail heading to the finish behind the Seneca Center at Morgantown Running. There will be awards for the top 3 male and female finishers and the top male and female 5k walkers. Please remember, if you sign up to walk you can only walk, no running! If you want to do both, please sign up for the run. There will also be random drawings for prizes from Morgantown Running. The first 1000 people registered will receive a pair of socks. Kids under 12 are more than welcome to register for the 5k, or they can run in the 800m Turkey Fun Run at 8:30am. The Ugly Sweater 5k, presented by Northwestern Mutual, is coming up on Saturday, December 5, 2026! Hosted by the Rotary Club of La Crosse—After Hours (RAH), this festive, family-friendly event is one you won't want to miss. This year's race will be offered both in-person and virtually. Packet pick-up and race-day check-in will be at The Nature Place beginning at 3:00 p.m. with holiday music and character appearances to kick off the fun. Same-day registration will also be available. The race begins at 4:15 p.m. in Myrick Park, where participants will run or walk through the La Crosse marsh trails under sparkly lights, and finish at Rotary Lights in Riverside Park. The Kenosha Mayor's Day Run/Walk was first held in 1906 and continued until 1950. It was resurrected by the Kenosha Running Club in 1978 and has been running strong continuously since then. The two runs take place on both city streets and the bike path along the lakefront between the museums and Carthage College. Each mile has a designated mile marker. Water stops near miles 2 & 4. The 10K course will close 80 minutes after race start. (No bicycles, roller skates, inline skates, skateboards, etc.) Free Kids Race (50-yard dash) for 8 years & under with paid registration! It’s almost time to lace up your sneakers and move your feet before you eat! Our 4th annual TCHS Turkey Trot! On Thursday, November 26th, 2026 we'll be having a great time with anyone that wants to have fun, enjoy each other, get some fresh air, and help animals! Families, visitors, kids, strollers, and pets are welcome! Our 5K fun run/walk supports the Taylor County Humane Society. We'll get started with registration between 8:00 and 8:45 a.m. on race day and start trotting at 9:00 a.m.

Since 2012, the Run Turkey Run 5K has brought nearly 1,000 runners, walkers, families, volunteers, and spectators together on Thanksgiving morning. What began as a local race has grown into a cherished Watertown tradition and has raised more than $235,000 for community organizations along the way. As we prepare for the 2026 Run Turkey Run, we are excited to begin a new chapter in the race's history. This year, the majority of the funds raised through Run Turkey Run will support the development of new lighted community pickleball courts at a local city/community park. We believe this project is a natural extension of what Run Turkey Run has always been about: health, activity, connection, and community. Pickleball is a fun and accessible activity for people of all ages and abilities. New lighted courts would provide a welcoming place for community members to be active, spend time together, and enjoy recreation throughout more of the day and year. Our goal is to raise $50,000 through this year's event to help make these courts a reality. We are encouraging runners to contribute to the cause by adding a donation to their registration or skipping a sweatshirt and having the extra money go toward the pickleball courts. What better way to celebrate Thanksgiving than by bringing our community together to get moving, have fun, and give back?

Community Healthcore is a non-profit agency that is the local Mental Health and Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Authority for 9 counties in Northeast Texas, including Bowie, Cass, and Red River Counties. Community Healthcore provides mental health services to children and adults, programming for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, substance use disorders and assisting homeless Veterans. All proceeds from this FUNdraiser will go to the Community Healthcore Foundation to be used in various forms of client services, unmet needs, and other assistance without a funding source. 4th Annual Hippo Social Club Turkey "Trail" Trot Thanksgiving morning just hits different at Hippo. Round up your turkeys, your people, your pups and your appetite for a little movement and join us for Hutto's ONLY Turkey "Trail" Trot — a Thanksgiving morning tradition built around moving, giving thanks and showing up for our community. Choose your adventure — 1.1 to 3.1 miles — and hit the Hippo Trails before settling in for a post-trot morning of fire pits, music, kids, community and a whole lot of Thanksgiving spirit. And this year, we're teaming up with one of our favorite local organizations. RUN LOCAL. GIVE LOCAL. This year, race proceeds will support Backpack Friends, a local Pflugerville nonprofit working to alleviate childhood hunger by providing nutritious, kid-friendly food to children in our communities. https://backpackfriends.com/beahero Want to take your giving a little further? We'll have a collection basket and those donations will go directly to the Backpack Friends warehouse to help stock the shelves and fill backpacks for local kids. THE TRAIL This is a trail trot — not a road race. Our 1.1–3.1 mile routes take you through the natural Hippo Trails on 100% dirt terrain, complete with leaves, rocks, roots and changing inclines. It's part of the fun — but watch your footing and come ready for a little dirt and trail grit. Kids + dogs are welcome! Dogs must remain leashed and cleanup is required. Strollers are not recommended. If you choose to bring one, know that natural trail terrain, roots, rocks and uneven sections can make passage difficult. Stroller use is at your own discretion and risk. Post-Trot: Hang around. Warm up by the fire pits. Let the kids play. Grab some coffee or hot chocolate. Find a wellness partner. Connect with your neighbors and add your thoughts and creativity to our Communal Giving Thanks Banner — one of our favorite Thanksgiving traditions. We'll have some of our favorite local wellness partners and vendors joining us, along with a Kid Zone and plenty of reasons to slow down and enjoy the morning before you Trot off to your Thanksgiving festivities.
