Join us for the 7th annual Anytime Fitness Fairview Turkey Trot! This year we are offering a full 5k or a 1 mile fun run/walk option. The 5K course is a road/trail hybrid. The trail is well groomed but does have some roots and rocks. The 1 mile course is 100% pavement. This is a true fun run! The Greeneville City Schools (GCS) Education Foundation invites you to participate in the 12th Annual GCSEF Turkey Trot 5K on Thanksgiving morning and participate in a local, healthy, holiday tradition. The Give 'N Gobble 5K Thanksgiving Day Race is a fun-filled annual holiday tradition for Dickson County and many families in Middle Tennessee! As one of Middle Tennessee’s largest Thanksgiving Day races, the Give 'N Gobble's 5K Race and One Mile Walk/Run starts at with great fanfare on Historic Main Street in Downtown Dickson and finishes at Holland Park, next to the Clement Railroad Hotel Museum. For many, the Give 'N Gobble is a fun, family-centered tradition, however the race does attract many professional runners from all over Tennessee and the United States. The Give 'N Gobble’s challenging 5K course is officially certified by USA Track and Field, and both the 5K and One Mile races are RFID (chip) timed. Since the first race in 2014, the Give ‘N Gobble has raised over $534,000 in the spirit of Thanksgiving for the Dickson County Help Center. The Killington Turkey Trot is an annual 5K race held on Thanksgiving Morning in Killington, VT. The race is in it's 14th year and funds raised are directed and utilized by local charitable organizations. Each year, a new beneficiary is named and all net proceeds go directly to the organization. The race was started by Kasie and Jamie Munson following Tropical Storm Irene which left many locals in the area stranded. It has grown into a full family affair and look forward to welcoming participants into our family and hopefully kick off a new Thanksgiving Day tradition!

Their mission is to Bless, Celebrate, and Love children who are medically fragile, have complex special/medical needs, or are currently facing a medical crisis. They grant wishes that bring joy and change lives, fill in gaps other services are unable to fill, and provide support with day-to-day needs for families going through the unimaginable with their child. The gifts they provide bring comfort and happiness; and oftentimes dramatically improve and change children’s lives. So this year we will run for all the raindancers, as they call the children they serve.

For over three decades, the Chesterfield Alumni Run has been exactly that. It is the homecoming that kicks off our Thanksgiving—the one day each year we return to the course that holds so many of our shared memories to reconnect with the people who define our running journeys. The Turkey Trot is a “must-do” event for the Thanksgiving holiday on the Northern Neck of Virginia, and in the spirit of this tradition, a small portion of race proceeds will provide financial support to animal welfare organizations located here in Lancaster County. The Irvington Turkey Trot is organized by the dedicated volunteers of the VIA ~ the Village Improvement Association. There will be no race day registration. The Richmond Road Runners Club will host a Turkey Trot 10k, 5k, and a half mile Kids Run on Thanksgiving Day on Thursday, 26 November 2025 at Bryan Park. This is the second year with the new 10k route! The 5k route may seem familiar. The half mile Kids Run will begin at 8:30 AM. The 10k will begin at 9:00 AM. The 5k will begin at 9:30 AM. There will also be a virtual Turkey Trot 10k and 5k option that will take place over Thanksgiving weekend for those who can't make the in-person race. The 19th Annual Turkey Waddle 5k walk run held at Salisbury Presbyterian Church with the proceeds benefiting FeedMore and local hunger relief. This is a very family friendly event and very 'low key' as well with a simple race clock along with a few refreshments at the finish line. We can't believe it's been 18 years since we started this event and it's grown so much over the years thanks to all of you who have offered support through either food donations or via your registration fees. Thanksgiving Day, November 26th, 2026 Kamiak High School Mukilteo, WA Join Snohomish Running Company for the 12th annual Mukilteo Turkey Trot. Complete a 5k or 10k around the Harbour Pointe neighborhood in Mukilteo, WA, before the big feast. Both distances take place on closed roads and are accessible for strollers and participants of all paces. No pets are allowed on course, though.
