This is a family fun event close to your home and the right distance for you and your family to come out, have a great time, and make it home in time for Turkey. The 5K course has some moderate hills and some flat portions. The Shake A Leg Mile and Little Gobbler 1K take place inside the stadium Loop Road and are free of vehicles coming and going. The major intersections are handled by Cedar Park Police, and you have a full lane all the way around the course.

Plainview Cross Country will be hosting the 25th annual 5K Turkey Trot on Thursday, November 26th at 8AM at the Dekalb County Schools Coliseum. The route will begin and end at the coliseum. Medals will be awarded to the top 3 overall female runners and the top 3 male runners, as well as, top 3 finishers in each division. 54th Annual Rockford Road Runners Turkey Trot is the oldest area race! The race has long been a fundraiser for the Rock River Valley Food Pantry, with many thousands of dollars having been raised over the years and continues that tradition this year. A Will County Thanksgiving tradition for more than 40 years! Join Prairie State Road Runners for another running of the Poultry & Pie Predictor on Thanksgiving morning in beautiful Pilcher Park located in Joliet, IL. We are back at the Horticultural Center! Leave your watches and timing devices at home! This is a prediction run. All runners - regardless of speed - have a chance to win a Thanksgiving prize! Enter and predict how long it will take you to complete the 4-mile course on the park roads. Those closest to their prediction will choose between a variety of frozen turkeys, holiday pie/sweets and gift cards. For this race, we ask that you refrain from using watches, phones, music players, or anything that will help you keep pace. You're on the honor system! Just enjoy the park scenery. But there's more! The 1 Mile Kids race will start at 8:40 am. This race is for kids ages 6-12 and each finisher will receive a goodie. Just a good ol' 5k race / walk on beautiful Michigan Avenue in La Porte, Indiana on Thanksgiving. We've been doing it for a hot minute. All proceeds from the La Porte Turkey Trot go to the La Porte Educational Development Foundation which benefits students at La Porte Community School Corporation.
