The Schuylkill River 50k Relay & Ultra   The RaceThe Schuylkill River Relay is a 50 kilometer (31 mile) race that starts and ends at Saint Michael's Park ​which adjoins Lock 60 in Mont Clare, Montgomery County, Pennsylvania. Adjacent to Phoenixville. Runners will follow the Schuylkill River Trail through scenic Montgomery County and the Valley Forge National Park all the way to Conshohocken.The race finishes in a private park along Lock 60 Canal right outside Phoenixville with live music, food trucks, and after filled with family friendly yards games.  To minimize trail impact and maximize runner safety the race begins in stages, with Ultras beginning first follow by teams determined by your self predicted end time.  Race Options - Team or SoloRunners have the option of racing solo, or part of a team of 3 to 6 runners. Come out for Celebrate Trails Day on the Susquehanna Warrior Trail!  Saturday, April 25th,take on whatever distance you prefer, from one mile to sixteen!  All races are out-and-back on the SWT’s flat, hard-packed fine crushed stone surface.   Proceeds will support the Northwest Area Cross Country Program’s Running Rangers Fitness Camp.  The Running Rangers is a four-week Summer camp that will help teach fourth-sixth grade students the benefits of running and fitness.  Your support will go toward providing each student-participant a pair of running shoes, team shirt and more. Join us for the Eighth Annual "Chase the Antelopes 5k  & One-Mile Walk".  This event will take place at Avonworth Middle School, home of the Antelopes!  The 8th grade class will be organizing this event from start to finish, under the direction of their Civics Teacher and Cross Country Coaches.  Students will be designing the t-shirt, creating unique medals and awards in their Technology Education classes, and contacting local businesses for sponsorship and donations.  All proceeds will benefit the Hannah Milbert Memorial Fund.   See if you can catch the Antelopes on April 25th!  The race will start and end on the high school track with a mostly-flat run through the Avonworth community neighborhoods.     Low entry fee of $20 until March 30th then $25. Come participate in this unique 5k run/walk to benefit the Lycoming County S.P.C.A. Our course caters to runners, walkers, and pet/human teams who will all participating together on the same course. The course loops through the South Williamsport Community Park and Little League International’s baseball stadiums. The course contains a short but steep climb up and around Little League International’s Headquarters and back down for an unforgettable view that makes the climb all worthwhile. And what would a dog-friendly event be without a division for dogs participating with their humans? The 2026 Jim Thorpe Area Running Festival will Take Place on April 25 & 26! This is a virtual race open to supporters across the country who want to take action for children and families. Participants can run, walk, or move in their own community while supporting a national mission to protect children’s relationships with both parents. This race is part of a larger effort to run 50 half marathons in 50 states, completing one race each month. Each run is dedicated to raising awareness about parental alienation, family court practices that separate children from a loving parent, and the urgent need for children to have reasonable access to both parents. Parental alienation and unnecessary parent child separation cause long term emotional, psychological, and developmental harm. This run exists to bring visibility to that harm and to advocate for fair, child focused family court outcomes. This event is Run 5 of 50. The founder of Mothers and Fathers Truly Matter, Bob, will be running this race in Pennsylvania while supporters participate virtually from anywhere.

Helping Our Families, a non-profit organization created with the mission of improving the quality of life of families, proudly presents the 2025 In-Stride 5K.   In 2024, 19 families were assisted through emergency fund services that allowed them to either stay in their homes versus being evicted or in many cases buy groceries; 40 Dayton Public School students were registered at our Grandview Learning Lab to receive afterschool tutoring; and 169 mothers and children received Christmas gifts who would otherwise have nothing.   All proceeds will go towards our mission of serving single mothers and their children, providing resources, support and hope by helping to remove barriers that prevent families from succeeding in the Greater Dayton area.   Register by April 12, and you will receive a t-shirt with your entry and save $5.     Donations also accepted and appreciated.

Join us this April for the annual Westlake Spring Fever 4 Mile, 2 Mile, & 1 Mile races at Westlake High School. There will also be a Kids Dash for 6 years olds and under.  This event benefits the Westlake Educational Foundation and finishes off with a yummy pancake breakfast provided by Kiwanis of Westlake following the races.   There will be free kids activities in the WHS Auxiliary Gym during and after the races, including favorites such as face painting, corn hole, hula hoops, bowling, limbo and soccer.   The Westlake Educational Foundation’s mission is to enhance educational opportunities and experiences of Westlake City Schools' students in the endeavor to Educate for Excellence. This 1-mile competitive race and family fun walk consists of running up one of the steepest hills in Pittsburgh…this hill being Center Avenue in the heart of Aspinwall. Runners will start at the Aspinwall Borough Building (200 Block of Commercial Ave.) and run to the top of Center Ave and circle back and end at Fireman’s Memorial Park. The race starts promptly at 9am. After the race there will be a family friendly atmosphere with excitement for all ages. Who We Are: Healthy Kids Running Series is a five (5) week running program in the spring and fall for kids Pre-K through 8th grade. Each HKRS Series takes place once a week and offers age-appropriate running events including the 50 & 75 yard dashes, the 1/4 mile, the 1/2 mile and the 1 mile run. Kids will earn points for each race they complete based on their finish.
