The Bradley Beach Turkey Trot - 2 Mile Run/Walk is BACK for a second year! Last year's event raised $15,000 for the Mercy Center in Asbury Park! Christian Pepe, a sophomore at Christian Brothers Academy (CBA) and resident of Bradley Beach, NJ, is organizing this year’s Turkey Trot Fun Run on Thanksgiving morning. Inspired by CBA’s strong tradition of faith, character, leadership, and service. Christian wanted to turn his love of community and running into an opportunity to give back. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Mercy Center to help feed the homeless during the holiday season — a cause close to Christian’s heart. Through this event, he hopes to spread the spirit of gratitude and service that CBA instills in all its students, reminding everyone that Thanksgiving is about giving as much as it is about thanks. The CLV Cross Country team is hosting the second annual Turkey Trot on Thanksgiving morning. The course will start and finish at the high school. You will run through the town of Cattaraugus. Money raised from this event will be used towards an overnight stay for the McQuaid Invitational. All Wolves on the Run athletes will have a reduced registration price of $10.00. Regular registration price is $25.00. The fee includes a t-shirt, post race food and prices for each age group.

Join us for the 49th running of this amazing Adirondack Coast tradition! Proceeds benefit the charitable work of the Peru Lions Club. All runners will receive Turkey Trot swag, while it lasts! The 5k and the 10k** start at 9am at Peru Central School! Bib pickup will be on race morning beginning at 7:45am and all activities will be outside, with some weather protection provided by the bays of the Peru Central School bus garage. FREE RACE run annually since 1975! This is the Red Clover Rovers' gift to Brattleboro-area runners, celebrating moving in the fresh air and joining together as an active community. Come run the classic annual 3-miler on Upper Dummerston Road (1-mile kids' race beforehand!). The race starts and ends near the Brattleboro Country Club. This event is 100% volunteer-run and donation-funded. Although there's no entry fee, you must register to get a bib and be timed. Race-day registration is only available online; no race-day registration in person. Also, we're asking participants to consider making a donation. Proceeds, after race expenses, will go to Groundworks Collaborative and the Vermont Foodbank. This race/fun run/walk has proven to be such a special day for friends, families and visitors and benefits the Steamboat Springs High School Track & Field and Cross Country programs. The Turkey Trot is a 5K course that starts and ends at Steamboat Springs High School, traveling to beautiful Strawberry Park and back. Dress in your cold weather running gear or even a Thanksgiving Day costume. Who: Runners, walkers, competitive adaptive, strollers, burly trailers, and leashed dogs on race course. This is an out and back course so distances may be shortened for any children and/or athletes with special considerations.Just let the race directors know so we can modify results. Wheelchair access is available to all facilities involved in the race. Note: No dogs allowed in the high school. Please leave outside when you pick up bibs. The first year we had just a few friends (about 6 runners; more eaters than runners). In 2025 we were able to raise over $6000 in gift cards and cash that was donated to Angel Works. The 2026 SG&B proceeds will be donated to the Angel Works. Angel Works is a local organization that supports families fighting childhood cancer. Start your Thanksgiving morning with a jog, run, sprint or walk. Then after come in and enjoy a home cooked sausage gravy and biscuit breakfast with HOMEMADE CINNAMON ROLLS! The Marquette Turkey Trot is a fundraising event for the MSHS Orchestra. Course Information: The course starts at the MSHS Canopy Entrance and heads down the paved bike path towards Tourist Park which is the 5k turn-around. The 10k course continues along the path towards the ore dock before Presque Isle. The course is an out and back. Shirts are long sleeve t-shirts with a logo designed by a MSHS student. Dogs are welcome and will be rewarded for the fastest 5k and 10k finisher. Race-day registration is 8-8:40 am, EST. The race is not timed so wear your watch if you would like to time yourself. It is a great day to contribute to our school organizations and get together with fellow runners/walkers and community members. Walkers are welcome for the 5k. Only runners for our 10k event.

Charlevoix Turkey Trot Fun Run hosted by Walter Wellness. This run as a 2 mile and 5k distance, meant to get out and move your body for a good cause. There won't be an official timer, so make sure to use your apps and watches for your time. Run starts and finishes in the Charlevoix Marina by the bandshell, running under the bridge to Lake Michigan beach, then down lakeshore drive near the cement plant turn around and back. There will be signs at the 1 mile mark to turn around for those doing a shorter 2 mile distance. Donuts will be waiting at the finish line for all runners, along with Walter Wellness Goodie Bags. Money raised will go to Safe Haven Ministries for their soup kitchen program. If you feel so inclined, please bring a non-perishable item with you to the event to be donated to Charlevoix's local food bank. Adults $15, Children 12 and under not required to register, but must run with registered parent or guardian. All liability/responsibility covered in adult registration is accepted for children with your sign up of this event.

What is the WMC Memorial 5K Turkey Trot? The WMC Memorial 5K Turkey Trot is a community event being held to continue the tradition of the WMC Memorial Race started many years ago in memory of Kyleigh D’Alessio and Tanner Birch. Since then the race has also honored the memory of Stephen Berstler and Paul Heembrock. The proceeds of the race will continue to fund the memorial scholarships in their names, Project Graduation, Community Night Out and new recreational projects for the benefit of the Township. Shandon Neighborhood Council is excited to announce the Shandon Turkey Trot and Burn 5K 2026 Join us on Black Friday, November 27th at 10am for this great community race! Are you ready to Trot & Burn with your Flock ?  Then THIS is the race for you!  Runners and Walkers are Welcome!  This race, managed by GRIT Endurance, LLC, will benefit The Shandon Neighborhood Council, a 501(c)(3) non-profit, who will use the race proceeds to provide improvements in this historical neighborhood.  Our race will showcase our beautiful Shandon Neighborhood with its USA Track & Field certified course.  The Start/Finish will be near Craft and Draft where we will hold our awards ceremony.
