We have ran for 35 years, and we have no plans to stop! Welcome to the 35th Run of the Emma Creek 5K/1M run/walk.  This is our annual fundraiser to raise funds to serve our youth, who due to budgetary constraints, would not be able to participate. This race is a tradition in Hesston Kansas and is unique because it is a women's only race, where we have a variety of ages, as we have 17 awarded age groups as well as the top ten! The first 500 who sign up will receive a swag bag with goodies from our sponsors as well as a 2026 Emma Creek t-shirt. The one mile will start at 9am. It is a fun run/walk, non-competitive for those who want to support Hesston Rec, but do not want to do a 5k. The 5k will start at 9:30am, with awards ceremony at 10:30am.  We wanted to give you an option to choose the color of you shirt this year!!! Looking for a family-friendly event to attend on April 25? Come join our CEF Family Fun Day 5K or mile Run/walk at the Coppermine Patherplex April 25th from 8:15 am-12 pm. This is a run to raise awareness and support for the Good News Clubs in Carroll County. The main event is a 5K run, which starts at 9 am, followed by the 1-mile race at 9:15 am. The Heritage All Day 5k was dreamed up in 2021 with a route encircling our church, local school, and dozens of our neighbors. The format is designed to represent the power of prayer and how praying circles around our community can make meaningful change.   Since it’s inception, we have collectively circled our community 864 times and raised over $44,000 towards our mission! J.A.M. (Jude Academy Memorial) is an annual event to celebrate the legacy of Jude Rockwell Marler. All proceeds go to India to help educate school children. The Wellness Center presents 318 YOUTH TRIATHLON, a SWIM*BIKE*RUN to be held on Saturday April 25th @ The Wellness Center 3215 Cypress Street, West Monroe LA 71291 for the following age groups, with male and female divisions:    7-8yr  100m swim, 35 calorie row, 1/2 mile run9-10yr 100m swim, 35 calorie row, 1/2 mile run11-12yr 100m swim, 35 calorie row, 1/2 mile run13-14yr 200m swim, 35 calorie bike, 1 mile run Swimming will take place in The Wellness Center indoor heated pool. The St John the Evangelist 5K and 1 Mile fun run will be held on April 26th, 2025, at St. John the Evangelist in Prairieville. The 1 Mile will start at 8:00 AM, and the 5K event will begin when the 1 mile is finished, around 8:15 AM. Please register online or at the table on the day of.    Please arrive early for check-in to get your BIB number and T-shirt; this will start at 6:30 AM outside of the church near the rear entrance.   There will be a light breakfast and coffee in the morning and then lunch to follow. Dogs are welcome, and prizes will be given to each age group winner. Join us on Saturday, April 25, 2026, for a fun run- in color!  This is a run/walk for everyone!  1-101, we've got a spot for you! Take a lap around the field, run the mile, or run the 5k...it's totally up to you! Each registered participant will receive the Color Run t-shirt and a pair of sunglasses (let's protect those eyes from the sun AND the color powder!)!  These items will be available AT the run, during check in time. We recommend arriving 10-15 mins prior to the start of the race, to allow time to check in.   For those who may be unfamiliar with a color run, this is a fun run in which volunteers will toss colored powder on you while you run or walk by. Please join us as Central Valley hosts the Warrior 5k Run/Walk.  The event will start and end at the Walter R. & Lois A. Sylvester Wellness Center at Central Valley High School-Located at 160 Baker Road Extension, Monaca, PA 15061. The course will include starting at the High School Football Field, running onto Baker Road, and passing CCBC, to Center Grange Elementary, and back to Central Valley HS Campus, ending at the Wellness Center. The Fuego y Fuerza Mutual Aid 5K is a community-driven race dedicated to supporting at-risk families in Maryland. Organized by Lambda Theta Phi Latin Fraternity, Inc., Hermandad de Sigma Iota Alpha, Inc., and the Audelia Community Response Team, this event raises funds to provide essential resources such as food, clothing, and immigration support to families in need. More than just a race, the event promotes health, wellness, and community engagement while bringing people together in support of a meaningful cause. Participants run or walk knowing that every step helps strengthen and uplift local families.
