Arrowhead Trail Run 5k/10k/4 Hour Returns on April 18th, 2026! Arrowhead Trail Run is a 5k marked course at Arrowhead Park near Neola, Iowa.  Choose the traditional 5k distance, 2 laps for a 10k, or complete as many laps as you can in a 4 hour Enduro!  Medals will be awarded for the top 10 Male and Female in the 5k, 10k and 4 Hour Enduro event categories. Let us show off Kuehn Conservation on Saturday morning April 18th! The 5K trail race will take you through the prairie trails along the upland areas, as well as the woods and prairies along the Racoon River bottom within the park.  Hosted by the Adel Rotary Club, the race proceeds help fund their local service projects.  Kuehn Conservation was established in 1982 by The Dallas County Conservation Board, and now encompasses over 1000 acres along the Raccoon River in Dallas County.  Archeological evidence shows this area has been enjoyed by humans for thousands of years, from the Woodland and Great Oasis traditions, to modern day humans. Now a county park, you can enjoy the trails that take you through native and restored prairie, woodland, and floodplain along the Raccoon River.  The race starts at 9am and is 100% single and double track trail loop through the park.

This year the walk will be held in three separate locations. Washington DC will be the first event of the year and that event will be on April 18th. The second walk will be held along the Macomb Orchard Trail in Richmond Michigan on May 2nd. The third and final walk will be in Holland Michigan starting at the beautiful Holland State Park Beach. We are so honored to partner with our family, friends, and neighbors to stand together in this fight that many of our veterans battle alone. Join us in 1 or all 3 events and help us save lives. The DC walk will start at the Lincoln Memorial and follow the multi purpose trails to the Nation's Capital and back. Each lap is a 5 mile trek.

Danny Carothers was an outstanding leader in our community.  He lead quietly behind the scenes encouraging our better angels to love one another and help each other up.  Conquer the Hill is a 5K Run/Walk to honor Danny's leadership, bring us together to meet the needs of neighbors in our community and to move each other forward.  If you knew Danny, you know how his life and love impacted you.  Danny always told us, "we can do this together"! The Crawfish 5K will kick off the amazing Crawfish Festival on Pensacola Beach! The Tourism Trot 5K Run/Walk event aims to bring together students, faculty, staff, families, and members of the community for a fun, healthy activity while supporting an important initiative. The funds raised through registration fees, donations, and sponsorships will go directly towards the Jana Jordan Scholarship Fund, which helps to provide financial assistance to deserving students studying at Fort Hays State University.  Jana began her career in tourism as the International Group Tour Guide for Hays Travel for several years and then served 26 years as the Hays Convention and Visitors Bureau Director, retiring in 2014. She passed away in 2019 and a scholarship was created in her honor. She was a tremendous supporter of the tourism and hospitality program at FHSU. She supported a scholarship and made many connections across the state creating opportunities for students and moving forward many tourism initiatives. The City of Ocoee and Chick-fil-A is hosting a 5K event for the entire family on Saturday, April 18, 2026. The CFA 5K is open to everyone regardless of running ability or experience. Whether you will run, walk, or jog come out and join us for a beautiful race day in Ocoee! Fravel Brewer Orthodontic will host a Kid's Fun Run as well.

This event, which is held on the 3rd Saturday in April, is a fundraiser for the Graham Creek Elementary Scholarship. Participants can walk or run the 5k, Bike 10 Miles, or combine both in our duathlon. DINO returns (for the first time since 2013), to DePauw Nature Park, which offers stunning views in, and above, its rock quarry cliffs. The trail surface is mostly crushed stone, making it great for running when springtime trails are wet. It's an excellent choice for first time trail runners. There are a couple of steep hills of 50 to 100' vertical climb, but the majority of the route has very mild grades.

Join us to honor longtime Coach Merrill Morgan Join the Seashore Striders for the 4th 5k Run & a 1 mile walk as we honor longtime Colonel Richardson High School Coach Merrill Morgan.  The former boys’ head basketball coach, Morgan, had 505 career victories, earned 485 of those over his 38 seasons at Colonel. He led Colonel to the state finals in 1976, and reached the state semifinals in 1973, 1976, 1990 and 1995.  In the fall of 1967 to joined Caroline County's Colonel Richardson High School where he served as a guidance counselor from 1967-2004; varsity boy's basketball coach from 1967-2005; and assistant girl's track coach in the 1970s. He excelled in all positions, as he encouraged and assisted both athletes and non-athletes, boys and girls, to be the best they could be. Please join us for our 30th year as we honor our fallen law enforcement heroes. These officers have made the ultimate sacrifice for the safety and protection of our city and its people.  Ron Dean #551 and Dewayne Williams #904 were working in the narcotics division of the Shreveport Police Department. On December 16, 1992 Ron Dean was fatally wounded while attempting to serve a search warrant for narcotics at the Pines Apartments. On March 3, 1993 Dewayne Williams was fatally wounded while attempting to serve a search warrant for narcotics at a home on Magnolia Ave.  Ron Dean and Dewayne Williams were supporters of Special Olympics during their law enforcement careers. Shreveport Police Officers along with other law enforcement agencies and civilians participate in this run each year. This run is not only in memory of Ron Dean and Dewayne Williams; it is in memory of all fallen law enforcement officers.
