Do you enjoy running in charitable events that benefit the local community?  Do you like a challenging road race?  Or do you like an easy stroll?  If you've said yes to any one of these, then our event is one you need to do!  Please join us for the Kirk Rd Krusher 10K and McLean Mile and 5K hosted by Run Oregon, an event for the entire family!  This road race is a FUN run/walk designed to create an environment that promotes physical fitness.  A portion of the proceeds generated from this event will be donated directly to the Weston Food Pantry, the named beneficiary for this inaugural fun run.  This event will be manually timed, our primary goal is to create a fun experience for runners/walkers and raise funds for the local food pantry. The Weston Food Pantry is open for anyone who is food insecure twice each month.  The Weston Food Pantry helps anyone who comes to the pantry and says that they need food, in December they served 100 families who needed food!  The Weston Food Pantry

The event includes a 1/2 Marathon run and a 5K run/walk.  The 5K also provides an opportunity for families and people with pets to participate. Both are held on the Yough River Trail of the Great Allegheny Passage (GAP) which provides a flat, fast, crushed limestone surface. Medals are given in both races.  Please note that medals not claimed on race day will be discarded. Pacers from Marathon Pacing will participate in the 1/2 Marathon. The Mon Yough Trail Council (MYTC) hosts this race.  It raises necessary funds for trail maintenance and upkeep throughout the year. The MYTC is one of a network of all-volunteer trail councils that exist along the GAP specifically to keep the trail open and accessible for all.

We are running in honor of Law Enforcement Officers killed in the line of duty and raising funds to build a Fallen Officer Memorial on the University of North Georgia-Dahlonega Campus. This Memorial will have the names of the killed in the line of duty officers who graduated from UNG or worked for the UNG Police Department. The race will take place on the UNG Dahlonega Campus. The 5k race is on the beautiful campus of UNG Dahlonega. The course is 2-laps with a return to the start/finish line, around a magnificent fountain for lap number 2. The course boasts approximately 400 feet of gain. The last .25+ miles is a VERY fast gradual downhill into the finish line. The Cauley Creek Park 5K features a flat, fast, rubberized course—perfect for runners of all levels. Our third annual TUWT X HOMEWARD BOUND 5K! Location: Cooper River at the track! Check in begins at 9:30AM.  We will begin the event at 10AM beginning with introducing the 10+ adoptable dogs on site. You will hear their story and hopefully fall in love and adopt or foster! After the dog introductions, we will take a group photo which I forget every year so someone please remind me. Then comes the fitness portion of our event! You will have three options: Option 1: Run or walk the 5k perimeter around Cooper River Park. The top 3 females and top 3 males will win a TUWT gift card! Option 2: Walk or run around the track!   Option 3: Pet and play with the adoptable dogs on site. ANY PERSON THAT ADOPTS A DOG AT THE EVENT RECEIVES A FREE TUWT MONTH! This is our second Running on Kindness 5K for Autism Awareness.   Although the event is hosted at Pilla Middle School, all district schools and our community have come together to create this special event to spread awareness and promote acceptance.   All proceeds will be returned to our community and benefit Pilla Project Unity (a club dedicated to creating social interactions among students of all abilities while giving back to the community), Educators 4 Autism (a local nonprofit organization), and Project Lifesaver (providing local children with GPS tracking devices).   The entire race take place on the grounds of Pilla Middle School.  The terrain is mostly paved surfaces but also includes grassy and dirt areas in the field behind the school.  The course is jogging stroller friendly as long as it can handle the terrain mentioned above.   Register for the 5K by 3/29 and run away with a race tee and finisher medal!   Register for the 1-mile by 3/29 and receive a race tee!   Awards wi

The 2026 Annual Montana Warrior Run, held at Spring Meadow State Park is back for the 2026 year!
