Celebrate Earth Day Weekend with us at the Pennypack Trust! Bring the whole family and join us for the 8th Annual Earth Day Trail Race. All proceeds benefit PERT's efforts to protect open space and maintain our current 950+ acres of land. You can choose to run/walk 10K, 5K, or 1 mile. Please sign up and secure your spot! THE CPT DREW RUSSELL Warrior RUN IS GOING TO HAVE A "LIVE" AND VIRTUAL RACE FOR 2026 About This Event: This 5K Run/Walk is in memory of Captain Drew Russell, a WMU ROTC alumni. He was Killed-In-Action in Kandahar Province, Afghanistan on October 8, 2011. As an active member within his community of Scotts, Michigan and a 2004 graduate of Vicksburg High School, he is remembered as a stand-up man who was always looking out for his friends and family with a great sense of humor. After earning his commission as a Second Lieutenant in Armor through Western Michigan University’s ROTC Program, he was stationed at Fort Carson, Colorado to carry out his time as an active duty Armor officer. Captain Russell was posthumously awarded the Bronze Star Medal and the Purple Heart for his actions in battle. He was survived by his mother, Patti, his father, Jim and his brother, James. In Captain Russell’s remembrance, an endowed scholarship was established for Western Michigan University students

What is the LivSports 24 Hour Adult Hockey Marathon benefiting LivFree? Here’s how it all works - the event is a continuous game with 60 to 90 skaters playing on two teams in 3 rotating groups based on ability with a running score from opening puck drop to the final horn. The 11th annual Golden Driller Marathon will be held on April 18, 2026. 2026 Yuengling Light Lager Jogger 5k

The Yuengling Light Lager Jogger 5k started in 2013 and is the only race to start and finish at America's oldest brewery!  D.G. Yuengling & Son, Inc., a family-run company since 1829 is based in Pottsville, PA and recently celebrated 185 years of continuous operation.  The 14th annual Yuengling Light Lager Jogger 5k starts and finishes at America's oldest brewery in Pottsville, PA. All participants will receive a Yuengling Light Lager Jogger branded pint glass, an official race t-shirt, two free Yuengling Light Lagers (21+), free brewery tours (prior to race day), and admission to the post-race party. The twelfth annual Jog for Jude, held in memory of Jude Zayac who suddenly and tragically passed away on July 23rd, 2014 from S.I.D.S. (Sudden Infant Death Syndrome), is the area's only 5k race raising awareness and funds for S.I.D.S. research. This year's race will be an evening run on Saturday, and the evening's festivities will be capped off by a community celebration.  Race Date: Saturday, April 18 @ 6:30pm ***Participants who sign up on or before April 4th will receive a race T-shirt.  Race Location: Dunmore Community Center Races: Timed 5K Run (map) or Fun Run/Walk Packet Pickup: You will be able to pick up your race packets on Friday, April 17 from 5-7 at the Dunmore Community Center. The 5K is being held in honor of Bryan McCauley. Bryan is a Marine Corps veteran, former police officer/detective, and firefighter/EMT with over 14 years in recovery. He has built and led substance use treatment programs for veterans and first responders, focusing on trauma, emotional regulation, and the cultural barriers that keep people from asking for help.  100% of the proceeds will be donated Alpha Bravo Canine.  Alpha Bravo Canine’s mission is to raise, train, and donate trained service dogs to U.S military veterans suffering from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury (TBI), and other combat-related disabilities. 5K DETAILS: We will start and end the run/walk on the track but the 5K will follow a trail around the school which includes some small hills, grassy areas and pavement. Norwegian Foot March & Trail Run

The Norwegian Foot March is an annual event presented by the Vessey Chapter of the Association of the U.S. Army (AUSA). For the fourth year, it is adding a 30K and 5K Trail Run option open to all military families, Junior and Senior ROTC programs, and the general public. The event's proceeds will benefit the AUSA Troops of Tomorrow initiative, the Minnesota VA Food Pantry, and military programs throughout Minnesota. History of the Norwegian Foot March The Norwegian Foot March was first held in 1915 as a test of strength and endurance for members of the Norwegian military and to expose new soldiers to the conditions they could expect in the field. Those who completed a 30km distance with a backpack load of 11kg within 4.5 hours earned the Marsjmerket, the Norwegian Armed Forces Marching Badge.
