Top of Tamarack is where mental health meets mental strength, all for a good cause! This is an event unlike any other!   Participants run, hike, or bike up the mountain and soak up the epic views of Valley County! Sixth Annual A-7 Corsair II Memorial 5K Run/Walk (Virtual)

The first flight of the A-7 Corsair II took place 26 September 1965.  The airframe would go on to serve in every major conflict from Vietnam to Desert Storm. Utilized by the US Navy, US Air Force, US Air National Guard, Portuguese Air Force, Thai Air Force, and Hellenic Air Force, the Corsair II was finally retired from service in 2014.  To commemorate this aircraft's storied history and the sacrifice of those service members who flew and maintained the airframe throughout its 49 year history, the A-7 Corsair II Association (www.corsair2.us) is hosting its fifth annual virtual 5K run/walk. Rollin Into The Night

Come run into the sunset and enjoy the Georgia night with the Red Dirt Runners at the 2nd Annual "Rollin Into The Night" 6 Hour trail run. This is a completely free run.  You only pay in sweat and hopefully not tears.  Donations to help offset some of the cost are appreciated. The course is a 2-mile single track trail loop with plenty of trees, creek beds, and challenging short climbs.  There is approximately 250' of elevation gain per loop.  Thanks to Hurricane Helene, this year's course has been modified and is the same as the “Southern Chicken Fried 25/50K" course. The Jamestown Rhode Race will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026.  The half-marathon is set on picturesque Conanicut Island and looks out over Narragansett Bay and the Newport Pell Bridge, the largest suspension bridge in New England.  The course features vivid landscapes, winding roads, historic Watson Farm as well as the village of Jamestown with its small shops and quaint restaurants.  Nautical but nice! ⚓️ The race will start at 7:00 am and has a 3.5 hr time limit.  The race has a limit of 425 participants. Since our first Men’s Health Event in 2011, we have provided nearly 118,000 FREE life-saving screenings to over 10,000 attendees. We have helped countless men gain control over their health and identified critical illnesses including hypertensive crises, diabetes, and prostate cancer, to name a few. The Men's Health Event will provide men with health screenings to assess their current health, give them a better understanding of how to stay healthy, and share information about advances in healthcare. The Ville to Ville Sprint Relay is a 3-person running relay. Teams will complete 21 miles with a start and finish at Trailblazer Park in Travelers Rest, SC. Runners will travel the Swamp Rabbit Trail and enjoy a festive post-race tailgate celebration with music, college football, and craft brews.
