Choose from a scenic 5 mile, 5k, or Children's Sap fun run through the hayfields and byways of New Pond Farm, all finishing with a rollicking family-friendly Oktoberfest celebration. The 15th annual Wine at the Line Run/Walk is happening Saturday, September 27! Take part in this incredible event by running in the 5 mile, or running/walking in the 5K. Last year's event drew nearly 2,000 runners, walkers and spectators, and we're expecting even more in 2025! The Montrose Recreation Foundation proudly presents the  25th Annual Black Canyon Triathlon will be held Saturday, September 26, 2026. The Jamestown Rhode Race will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026.  The half-marathon is set on picturesque Conanicut Island and looks out over Narragansett Bay and the Newport Pell Bridge, the largest suspension bridge in New England.  The course features vivid landscapes, winding roads, historic Watson Farm as well as the village of Jamestown with its small shops and quaint restaurants.  Nautical but nice! ⚓️ The race will start at 7:00 am and has a 3.5 hr time limit.  The race has a limit of 425 participants. The Ville to Ville Sprint Relay is a 3-person running relay. Teams will complete 21 miles with a start and finish at Trailblazer Park in Travelers Rest, SC. Runners will travel the Swamp Rabbit Trail and enjoy a festive post-race tailgate celebration with music, college football, and craft brews. Enjoy all the fun of Ville to Ville camaraderie in a shorter timeframe without needing a team vehicle. Race Format The event features six legs, with each consecutive leg getting shorter by one mile. RUN FOR DAD is the American Cancer Society’s premier  community event to raise funds and build awareness about prostate cancer.  Now in its 22nd year, RUN FOR DAD, is changing it's date! Usually taking place every Father’s Day, we have decided to move to September which is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. Join us on September 26, 2026 as this event honors the memory of Frank Simms, event co-founder and all those who lost their battle with prostate cancer.    Over 1,000 people attend this family  fun event which consists of a 5K Run and 2-mile walk.  Small children are invited to take part in the Kids Run For Dad, a series of small races where they are all winners.  In 2023, approximately 228,800 men in the US were diagnosed with prostate cancer and over 27,500 died from the disease. About one man in seven will be diagnosed with prostate cancer during his lifetime. New Jersey has the third highest incidence per capita of prostate cancer in the US. This leg is another ride through  scenic bike ride through Southern New Jersey    The ride will start and end at Farmers & Bankers Brewing .   After the ride join us at the brewery for your complimentary beer and some post ride fun.  This will be a semi supported ride.  We will have a marked route with signs and arrows to direct you.  The route will also be available for you to download.  We will also have several aide stations on course.  Limited SAG support will also be available. Join us at 9am on Saturday, September 26th on the iconic Newstead 5K course, starting at the South Mountain Annex and running through the beautiful Newstead neighborhood!!!  Participants will receive a race T-shirt and collapsible cup (while supplies last). This 5K celebrates Meant to Soar, a non profit 501 (c)(3). The animals are normally more active during this time of the morning because it isn't so hot!   Serious runners grab serious cash!
