A truly fun run that kicks off the Tartan Parade - Kilts and plaid are highly encouraged! This is the 34th Celtic Classic 5K Run/Walk, produced by Bethlehem Morning Star Rotary. Flat course starting in town, looping out of town, then finishing back in town. Walk, 5k or 10k options. There is one water stop for the 10k route then water and snacks at the finish for all participants. Wyatt's Walk benefits the Wyatt Davis Memorial Scholarship which was started in memory of Wyatt Davis, a great young man who set the standard for being a role model in every aspect of his short life. Wyatt's life was cut short at 18 years old after a battle with Osteosarcoma. This event is part of the Continental Fall Festival which offers food vendors and additional activities to stick around for. Must register by 9-16-26 for t-shirt.

THE 12TH ANNUAL SPARTAN SPRINT 5K RUN/WALK & FAMILY DAY! The course starts and finishes on NCC’s Bethlehem campus. Point to point course is mostly flat and fast, on paved roads between Northampton Community College and through a local neighborhood. The University of Findlay College of Pharmacy chapter of the American Pharmacists Association - Academy of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP) is hosting its 10th Annual Homecoming 5K and 3rd Annual 1.4 mile Fun Walk!   Join us for the Heart Healthy 5K and Fun Walk on Saturday October 11th, 2025 during the University of Findlay's Homecoming Weekend. A founding pillar within APhA-ASP is heart health, and a portion of the event proceeds will be donated to the American Heart Association. The Adam Zook Memorial Run is a timed 5k or 9.88 mile run, and an untimed 2-mile walk that takes place on Saturday, September 26, 2026. Proceeds collected from this event will fund scholarships for three seniors from the 2026-2027 class and support suicide prevention initiatives within the Tyrone Area School and the surrounding community. The University of Dayton Department of Health and Sport Science annual Thomas J. Frericks 5K event is set for 2026! The event will take place on UD's campus over Family Weekend on Saturday, Sept. 26th. The race will begin in front of the RecPlex at 10:00am. Proceeds of the Thomas J. Frericks 5K will benefit the Department of Health and Sport Science and Phi Epsilon Kappa.    The cost for the in-person 5K event is $30. Registration includes a t-shirt if registered by Sept 1. Nestled among rolling hills and dense forest, the Marilla Reservoir in Bradford, PA provides the perfect backdrop for trail racing.  With both 7 mile and 14 mile courses, the Marilla Trail Race offers the opportunity for beginners, hard-core trail runners, and everyone in-between to take advantage of Bradford's world-class wilderness.  Clearly marked trails take runners over a variety of terrain- gravel paths, dirt trails, and winding single track, with aid stations spread throughout.  Except for a single road crossing, the 14 mile course is 100% off-road, and the same goes for the 7 mile route.  While the courses are mostly non-technical, be prepared for intense elevation changes on the rolling hills and some winding single track. The DSACO Festival & 5K will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026, at the Myriad Botanical Gardens in Oklahoma City, OK. Join us and help celebrate the extra 21st chromosome by creating a team, walking or running for acceptance and inclusion. This leg is another ride through  scenic bike ride through Southern New Jersey    The ride will start and end at Farmers & Bankers Brewing .   After the ride join us at the brewery for your complimentary beer and some post ride fun.  This will be a semi supported ride.  We will have a marked route with signs and arrows to direct you.  The route will also be available for you to download.  We will also have several aide stations on course.  Limited SAG support will also be available. This is a ride in open traffic. You are expected to wear a helmet and follow safety and traffic rules. Join us at 9am on Saturday, September 26th on the iconic Newstead 5K course, starting at the South Mountain Annex and running through the beautiful Newstead neighborhood!!!  Participants will receive a race T-shirt and collapsible cup (while supplies last). The Newstead 5K prides itself on being a family-friendly event. Strollers are welcome but no pets please.  There will also be two events exclusively for the kids. Shortly after the completion of the 5K, we will have a "Toddler Dash" on the lawn near the Annex perfect for kids ages 4 and under. Goya Foods is your presenting sponsor for the third annual Britta's Chase 5K in the Wild - a race run inside San Antonio’s award winning Zoo! This 5K celebrates Meant to Soar, a non profit 501 (c)(3). The animals are normally more active during this time of the morning because it isn't so hot!   Serious runners grab serious cash! On 3–4 Oct 1993 U.S. Army Rangers of the 3rd Battalion, 75th Ranger Regiment, as part of Task Force Ranger, fast-roped into the city of Mogadishu, Somalia to capture key lieutenants of warlord Mohamed Farrah Aidid. What began as a short raid quickly escalated when Somali militia shot down two Black Hawk helicopters with RPGs. Rangers fought through intense urban combat, securing the target buildings, defending the crash sites, and protecting wounded comrades while surrounded by determined enemy forces throughout the night. Despite heavy casualties and relentless attacks, the Rangers held their ground until a relief column fought its way into the city, after which many Rangers ran under fire to reach the armored vehicles in what became known as the Mogadishu Mile.
