The Lawndale 5K is hosted every year by Lawndale Christian Fitness Center (LCFC). This event brings the community together to run, walk, and play, and it invites people near and far to join in! The proceeds of the Lawndale 5K are used to support our FitnessRx program, which provides free memberships for LCHC patients with a chronic illness. The 2025 Superhero 5K, Kids Fun Run & Walk, hosted by Owensboro Health Foundation and Owensboro Health Healthpark, is a community event designed to honor Superhero Cancer Survivors and raise funds for the Mitchell Memorial Cancer Center. The Friends of the Poor Walk is a nationwide signature event of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.  This event is being held to raise awareness and funds supporting the local Conference of Our Saviour's in Cocoa Beach.    This is our 3rd Annual event and will be a 5K out and back run or walk from the Church parking lot onto Banana River Drive and nearby residential neighborhood.  Registration fee is $28.00 (plus fees) with a kids registration for ages Pre-K through 17 years old for $15.00 (plus fees).  We will have a free kids dash after the 5K is completed. The Race for the Bays will occur on the last day of National Estuaries Week. This is a fun way to close out a week of appreciation for our estuary and natural resources by running through Conservation Park that was created to rehydrate wetlands using the City of Panama City Beach’s reclaimed water. The City employs forestry management practices and wetland protection that will have lasting benefits to the St. Andrew Bay. Proceeds benefit the St. Andrew and St. Joseph Bays Estuary Program.

Join us for the next leg of our Tour De South Jersey Series. This leg is another ride through  scenic bike ride through Southern New Jersey    The ride will start and end at Farmers & Bankers Brewing .   After the ride join us at the brewery for your complimentary beer and some post ride fun.  This will be a semi supported ride.  We will have a marked route with signs and arrows to direct you.  The route will also be available for you to download.  We will also have several aide stations on course.  Limited SAG support will also be available. This is a ride in open traffic. You are expected to wear a helmet and follow safety and traffic rules. Join us at 9am on Saturday, September 26th on the iconic Newstead 5K course, starting at the South Mountain Annex and running through the beautiful Newstead neighborhood!!!  Participants will receive a race T-shirt and collapsible cup (while supplies last). The Newstead 5K prides itself on being a family-friendly event. Strollers are welcome but no pets please.  There will also be two events exclusively for the kids. 20th Annual 24-Hour Race VENUE:Hinson Lake, Rockingham, North Carolina RULES: This event will be electronically timed.  All participants will be issued a bib/chip which must be worn at all times to guarantee that all completed laps and splits are recorded.  There will be a chute for runners only and if you will be taking a break, you will be asked to steer clear of the lap counting area. COURSE: The course is the 1.5032-mile inner loop that circles the lake. It is a USATF certified course with certification code NC14103DF.  The surface is sand/gravel-maintained trail through the woods. You will run over 16 small wooden foot bridges including a 300-foot bridge that crosses over the lake. The trail will be marked on race day and will use chem-lights at night. Top of Tamarack is where mental health meets mental strength, all for a good cause! This is an event unlike any other!   Participants run, hike, or bike up the mountain and soak up the epic views of Valley County! You can choose to tackle any distance along the service road leading up to the summit.  The maximum distance is 15 miles round trip with a full 2,900 foot elevation climb to the Top of Tamarack.  There is no DNF (did not finish) in this race.  Each mile post along your journey will be marked with a special token, reminding you that you have achieved a great distance and you are “mentally strong.”  Collect as many tokens as you can and then head back down the mountain to celebrate your achievement.  The first male and female to reach the top (for both biking and running) will be crowned King and Queen of the Mountain! Join us for the CASA Superhero 5K fun run/walk and 10K run through historic Leavenworth, KS, followed by a kids' superhero race (100 yards). The CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocate) concept is based on the belief that every child has the right to a safe, permanent home. Unlike attorneys and social workers, the CASA volunteer speaks exclusively for the child's best interests. By handling only one or two cases at a time (compared to a social agency caseworker's average load of 60 – 90), the CASA volunteer has the time to explore each assigned case's history thoroughly. The volunteer talks with the child, parents, family members, neighbors, school officials, doctors, and others involved in the child's life that may have facts about the case. The volunteer then also reviews all records and documents about the child. They then submit a formal report to the court-recommending placement: should the child stay with their parents, be placed in foster care, or be freed fo

Come run into the sunset and enjoy the Georgia night with the Red Dirt Runners at the 2nd Annual "Rollin Into The Night" 6 Hour trail run. This is a completely free run.  You only pay in sweat and hopefully not tears.  Donations to help offset some of the cost are appreciated. The course is a 2-mile single track trail loop with plenty of trees, creek beds, and challenging short climbs.  There is approximately 250' of elevation gain per loop.  Thanks to Hurricane Helene, this year's course has been modified and is the same as the “Southern Chicken Fried 25/50K" course. The ShockWave 5K will be hosted by Shock Fitness Studio with the full support of the City of South Fulton's District 5, District 6 and District 7. This excited event will serve as the community wellness push to bring families, business and partners tother to spread a message health. This race estimates 300 participants in its inaugural year and it hopes to become a qualifier for other races.
