Top of Tamarack is where mental health meets mental strength, all for a good cause! This is an event unlike any other!   Participants run, hike, or bike up the mountain and soak up the epic views of Valley County! You can choose to tackle any distance along the service road leading up to the summit.  The maximum distance is 15 miles round trip with a full 2,900 foot elevation climb to the Top of Tamarack.  There is no DNF (did not finish) in this race.  Each mile post along your journey will be marked with a special token, reminding you that you have achieved a great distance and you are “mentally strong.”  Collect as many tokens as you can and then head back down the mountain to celebrate your achievement.  The first male and female to reach the top (for both biking and running) will be crowned King and Queen of the Mountain! MuuvWell Hot Rod 24 Hour Ultra

The race takes place at the Bowling Green Hot Rods Baseball Park on Saturday, September 26, 2026. Runners have up to 24 hours to cover as many loops as they can on this .31-mile course (yep, just 3/10th of a mile) that follows the perimeter of the concourse inside the baseball park. Special activities will keep runners entertained through the night. Expect a fun party atmosphere that will help the time and the laps go by. Runners are allowed to sleep, eat, leave, and come back, and even flat-out stop running whenever they want to. The 2026 Bourbon & Beyond 5K takes place at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, at the Kentucky Expo Center (937 Phillips Ln.). We are back for our second year of this special and fun-filled event! The Frankfort Striders present MILES for MUSIC, benefitting the Frankfort Independent School XC Teams and Second Street School PTSA. We had such a great time this year, we decided to add a 6-hour event as well as our original 12-hour event! The 12-hour event will start again at 7AM and ending at 7PM. To be considered a finisher, you must complete one mile loop every hour for a total of 12 miles (you can do more if you wish...we know you will)! For the 6-hour event, you get to choose which hour you wish to start, as long as if you must complete 6 consecutive hours before 7PM (and complete at least one mile loop per hour)!

This is a completely free run.  You only pay in sweat and hopefully not tears.  Donations to help offset some of the cost are appreciated. YMCA Wrightsville Beach Sprint Triathlon

Founded in 1979, as the Pepsi Triathlon, the YMCA Wrightsville Beach Sprint Triathlon is a favorite event among locals and triathletes near and far. This event creates a lot of excitement and enthusiasm within the race community because of its scenic location in beautiful Wrightsville Beach. The course is flat and the distances are short, making it a great first event for new triathletes, and a great time trial for more experienced racers.   In recent years, the YMCA has added a Youth Triathlon event in addition to the traditional Sprint Triathlon, increasing the participation in younger athletes. The Y has also added a Corporate Relay Division to encourage local businesses to come out and compete for a very large trophy to display in their business, not to mention bragging rights for the year!  Today the event is comprised of the traditional sprint triathlon and a youth triathlon, increasing the participation in younger athletes. Chad Lovette Memorial Trail Run

Greetings! The 10th Annual Chad Lovette Memorial Trail Run Hosted by numerous friends and family will be held on 9/27/2025 at Cub Creek Park in Wilkesboro, NC!  For our 10th year, we will be featuring RaceResult chip timing to improve timing accuracy and facilitate near-live results posting. Signs with race-specific QR codes will be posted near the start/finish line so you can scan them with your mobile device to access results. As a result of this upgrade, your race bib will include two RFID tags affixed to the back of the bib. Please take care not to fold or crinkle the tagged bib as this can damage the RFID tags and potentially cause you to be missed by the timer’s HF readers. Afterparty plans are to be announced later.  We look forward to welcoming newcomers and past participants for this fun trail run. Apple Harvest 10k

Course Certified (VT13007JK) 10K out and back through Shelburne and Charlotte. This fast course is a mix of dirt and paved roads and has pleasant scenery - apple orchards, views along Lake Champlain, and the covered bridge at the turn around point. The start and finish is at Shelburne beach and proceeds along Bostwick, Orchard, and Lake roads. Water stops are at approximately 2 and 4 miles.   Registration Pre-registration online, closes on Friday, Sept. 25th at noon or at 180 participants.
