Britta's Chase 5K @ SA Zoo

Goya Foods is your presenting sponsor for the third annual Britta's Chase 5K in the Wild - a race run inside San Antonio’s award winning Zoo! This 5K celebrates Meant to Soar, a non profit 501 (c)(3). The animals are normally more active during this time of the morning because it isn't so hot!   Serious runners grab serious cash! Walkers and joggers, enjoy animals in their morning routines! We will award beautiful customized finisher medals, along with special medals for different age groups and the top three performers in both male and female categories. Britta's Chase is a unique event. Few races receive approval to run through the zoo. Also, back by popular demand is our "cash chase challenge!" $100 bills will be handed out during the race at the 1 and 2 mile markers to the male and female runners who are currently in the lead.  Additionally, the winner of the race will win $300 if the male runner finishes under 15:15 and the female runner finishes under 18:15.
