The Grind, A Gravel Circuit Race

Nine Mile Falls, WA
A spectator-friendly gravel Circuit Race in Riverside State Park at the Seven Mile Airstrip on September 26, 2026.  This is an 11-mile loop with 3 distances to choose from: Grande (66 miles/6 laps), Medio (44 miles/4 laps), and Piccolo (22 miles/2 laps). This course features 577 feet of elevation per lap, wide-open trails and very little single track; perfect for gravel bikes, mountain bikes, cyclocross bikes, and hybrids. Road bikes are not recommended.  Start time: Grande 8:30am, Medio 9:30am, Piccolo 10:30am. No categories for fitness or skill, just choose the distance that best supports your riding ability and fitness level. Big Hurt

The Big Hurt is a multi-sport race that includes four legs and participants can race solo in Iron Division or as a relay team. Big Hurt is unique in that all transitions are at the same location, making for an all-day party atmosphere. Even better, the transition is located on the beautiful waterfront in downtown Port Angeles. The “Runnin’ with the Dogs” Bulldog Band 5k Race will be on Saturday, September 26, 2026 at Martinsburg High School!  The course will begin on the track at Martinsburg High School’s Cobourn Field. Runners will continue down Bulldog Blvd, crossing Queen Street to the “Frog Hollow Trail.” Runners will traverse roughly 2.5 miles on the trail in and out and back. This Walk/Run event will take place on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Brook Run Park in Dunwoody, Georgia, as part of the International Week of the Deaf celebrations from Monday, September 21, to Sunday, September 27, 2026. “Follow the Sign” was created by a team of Deaf and Hard of Hearing members to showcase our language and cultural diversity. We are committed to raising funds to improve the lives of Deaf, DeafBlind, and hard-of-hearing individuals. Tantalus 10-Mile Challenge

Get ready for the Tantalus 10-Mile Challenge, taking place on Sunday, September 27, 2026, in the beautiful city of Honolulu! This exhilarating race features a scenic one-loop course that starts at 6:30 a.m. on Makiki Heights Drive, near Halau Kumana School. Participants will embark on a thrilling uphill journey along Makiki Heights Drive, transitioning to Tantalus Drive and climbing for about five miles before enjoying a downhill stretch on Round Top Drive. Runners will then make their way back, finishing strong with a final uphill push on Makiki Heights Drive. For those who prefer a more leisurely pace, an optional early start at 6:00 a.m. is available for walkers and runners planning to finish in over 2.5 hours. We are excited to share that this year we have added a 4 mile race option through the beautiful trails of RB Winter State Park. This distance is perfect for beginners who want to try trail running, as well as experienced runners who would like to enjoy a relaxed day on the trails with friends. The Dam Half Trail Challenge has grown from a small race for hardcore trail runners into a popular, family-friendly event with a few hundred participants taking on the trails each year. Trail running has exploded in popularity, especially in central PA, where our diverse and high-quality races have even drawn national attention.  Profits from the races will be shared with the Mifflinburg Hose Company and the Middleburg Boy Scouts.
