Food for Others Tysons 5K & Fun Run

There are over 1.2 million people in the DMV region who identify as food insecure. In Fairfax County, there are over 105,000 people who are food insecure alone. With this being one of the most affluent areas in the nation, this news is shocking. Due to the lingering effects of COVID and the impact of inflation, food banks and pantries around the region are seeing the demand for services drastically increase. We need your support now more than ever.  The Food for Others Tysons 5K & Fun Run on Saturday, September 26th brings together the local community for a morning spent raising awareness around food insecurity here in NOVA. What makes this race incredibly unique is that after the race, all participants and volunteers will have the opportunity to write inspirational messages that will be shared with students participating in our Power Pack Program that provides weekend meal packs to over 3,900 students EACH week throughout the school year.  LOCATION: PenFed Plaza at Tysons Corner C
