For 2026, Jack-O-Lantern 5K & 10K will be celebrating 8 years. The races will be along the scenic Upper Bucks Rail Trail in the Quakertown area. The Pumpkin Challenge was a huge success last year, and it is sure to sell out again. Be sure to check out the family friendly pricing. The Knights of Columbus – Quakertown and Richland Township Fire & Rescue present this year’s race. Proceeds will mainly be directed to the new Richland Township Fire & Rescue - Utility Vehicle fund. Start Time:           We will start the 5K and 10K races at 8 am. Pace times will be posted in the start area to help runners self seed themselves so we do not need a wave start. Seiz Up: A Run for Epilepsy Awareness invites runners of all levels to take on the scenic shores of Pensacola Beach in support of a great cause. Choose your challenge with a full marathon, half marathon, or an energetic 5K fun run—all designed to raise awareness for epilepsy while enjoying the stunning coastal views. After crossing the finish line, celebrate with an exciting awards ceremony and a beachside after-party! The Jackson Hole Marathon races cover the best of the Jackson Hole Valley and finish at the base of the Teton Mountain Range in Teton Village. If the altitude doesn’t take your breath away, the scenery certainly will! While you’re here, enjoy Jackson’s vibrant food and art scene, sample some of the best craft breweries in the country, and explore endless open space in the Bridger-Teton National Forest, and Grand Teton and Yellowstone National Parks. The Ville to Ville Sprint Relay is a 3-person running relay. Teams will complete 21 miles with a start and finish at Trailblazer Park in Travelers Rest, SC. Runners will travel the Swamp Rabbit Trail and enjoy a festive post-race tailgate celebration with music, college football, and craft brews. Enjoy all the fun of Ville to Ville camaraderie in a shorter timeframe without needing a team vehicle. Race Format The event features six legs, with each consecutive leg getting shorter by one mile. Three team members will split the six legs, with runner #1 completing Legs 1 & 4, runner #2 completing Legs 2 & 5, and runner #3 completing Legs 3 & 6. All teams will start the event at 10 am. RUN FOR DAD is the American Cancer Society’s premier  community event to raise funds and build awareness about prostate cancer.  Now in its 22nd year, RUN FOR DAD, is changing it's date! Usually taking place every Father’s Day, we have decided to move to September which is Prostate Cancer Awareness Month. Join us on September 26, 2026 as this event honors the memory of Frank Simms, event co-founder and all those who lost their battle with prostate cancer.    Over 1,000 people attend this family  fun event which consists of a 5K Run and 2-mile walk.  Small children are invited to take part in the Kids Run For Dad, a series of small races where they are all winners.  In 2023, approximately 228,800 men in the US were diagnosed with prostate cancer and over 27,500 died from the disease. The Jamestown Rhode Race will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026.  The half-marathon is set on picturesque Conanicut Island and looks out over Narragansett Bay and the Newport Pell Bridge, the largest suspension bridge in New England.  The course features vivid landscapes, winding roads, historic Watson Farm as well as the village of Jamestown with its small shops and quaint restaurants.  Nautical but nice! ⚓️ The race will start at 7:00 am and has a 3.5 hr time limit.  The race has a limit of 425 participants. The University of Dayton Department of Health and Sport Science annual Thomas J. Frericks 5K event is set for 2026! The event will take place on UD's campus over Family Weekend on Saturday, Sept. 26th. The race will begin in front of the RecPlex at 10:00am. Proceeds of the Thomas J. Frericks 5K will benefit the Department of Health and Sport Science and Phi Epsilon Kappa.    The cost for the in-person 5K event is $30. Registration includes a t-shirt if registered by Sept 1. The Jamestown Rhode Race will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2026.  The half-marathon is set on picturesque Conanicut Island and looks out over Narragansett Bay and the Newport Pell Bridge, the largest suspension bridge in New England.  The course features vivid landscapes, winding roads, historic Watson Farm as well as the village of Jamestown with its small shops and quaint restaurants.  Nautical but nice! ⚓️ The race will start at 7:00 am and has a 3.5 hr time limit.  The race has a limit of 425 participants. Wyatt's Walk benefits the Wyatt Davis Memorial Scholarship which was started in memory of Wyatt Davis, a great young man who set the standard for being a role model in every aspect of his short life. Wyatt's life was cut short at 18 years old after a battle with Osteosarcoma.
