The Junction Jamboree Jog will continue to offer a 5K, 10K and 10-Miler.  The 10K and 10-Miler are out and back courses on the Firefly Trail.  The proceeds will go to improvement projects in Union Point, including the Southern Terminus of the Firefly Trail.   These are the final races in the 2026 Firefly Trail Race Series.

Fido Fest 5K and 1 mile Fun Run returns in 2025 for the 9th event!  Hearts 'n Homes Rescue and Ashley Park Newnan are partnering to bring you a day of fun for the 2 legged and 4 legged members of your family!! Founded in 1979, as the Pepsi Triathlon, the YMCA Wrightsville Beach Sprint Triathlon is a favorite event among locals and triathletes near and far. This event creates a lot of excitement and enthusiasm within the race community because of its scenic location in beautiful Wrightsville Beach. The course is flat and the distances are short, making it a great first event for new triathletes, and a great time trial for more experienced racers.   In recent years, the YMCA has added a Youth Triathlon event in addition to the traditional Sprint Triathlon, increasing the participation in younger athletes. The Y has also added a Corporate Relay Division to encourage local businesses to come out and compete for a very large trophy to display in their business, not to mention bragging rights for the year!  Today the event is comprised of the traditional sprint triathlon and a youth triathlon, increasing the participation in younger athletes. Greetings! The 10th Annual Chad Lovette Memorial Trail Run Hosted by numerous friends and family will be held on 9/27/2025 at Cub Creek Park in Wilkesboro, NC!  For our 10th year, we will be featuring RaceResult chip timing to improve timing accuracy and facilitate near-live results posting. Signs with race-specific QR codes will be posted near the start/finish line so you can scan them with your mobile device to access results. As a result of this upgrade, your race bib will include two RFID tags affixed to the back of the bib. Please take care not to fold or crinkle the tagged bib as this can damage the RFID tags and potentially cause you to be missed by the timer’s HF readers. Norton King’s Daughters’ Health invites you to support our Prevention & Wellness programs by running or walking in our 26th annual Run the Falls 5K. This road course runs through the beautiful Clifty Falls State Park.   Proceeds from this race will benefit the Norton KDH EMS Transport Hub project.

The race takes place at the Bowling Green Hot Rods Baseball Park on Saturday, September 26, 2026. Runners have up to 24 hours to cover as many loops as they can on this .31-mile course (yep, just 3/10th of a mile) that follows the perimeter of the concourse inside the baseball park. Special activities will keep runners entertained through the night. Expect a fun party atmosphere that will help the time and the laps go by. Runners are allowed to sleep, eat, leave, and come back, and even flat-out stop running whenever they want to. The 2026 Bourbon & Beyond 5K takes place at 8 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26, 2026, at the Kentucky Expo Center (937 Phillips Ln.). We are back for our second year of this special and fun-filled event! The Frankfort Striders present MILES for MUSIC, benefitting the Frankfort Independent School XC Teams and Second Street School PTSA. We had such a great time this year, we decided to add a 6-hour event as well as our original 12-hour event! The 12-hour event will start again at 7AM and ending at 7PM. To be considered a finisher, you must complete one mile loop every hour for a total of 12 miles (you can do more if you wish...we know you will)! For the 6-hour event, you get to choose which hour you wish to start, as long as if you must complete 6 consecutive hours before 7PM (and complete at least one mile loop per hour)!

Top of Tamarack is where mental health meets mental strength, all for a good cause! This is an event unlike any other!   Participants run, hike, or bike up the mountain and soak up the epic views of Valley County! Delmarva's Coastal Traverse Adventure Race is back in 2026!  This 12-hour beach themed adventure race will challenge teams and solo racers alike to navigate Delaware’s coastal landscape by bike, foot, and paddle, linking wildlife refuges, state parks, beaches, tidal marshes, and vibrant coastal towns.  With multiple route choices and numerous optional checkpoints, experienced racers can push for a full-course completion while newer teams can tailor the challenge to their comfort level without losing the spirit of the race.  Tides, terrain, and strategy will all play a role, rewarding smart decisions as well as raw endurance. Featuring some newly raced areas of the Delmarva Peninsula, this event offers a fresh, dynamic test of adventure racing skill in one of the region’s most diverse coastal environments.

Race Overview  Enjoy the beautiful Iowa River Greenbelt with this 13.1 mile paved loop beginning in Eldora, taking you along the River's Edge Trail to Steamboat Rock, and coming back to Eldora through the beautiful Pine Lake State Park. The race will start and end at Memorial Park on the east side of Eldora located near the Welcome Center. We will be donating the proceeds from the run to the continued progress on the River’s Edge Trail. Be greeted by our small town charm along the route and at the start and finish line. 20th Annual 24-Hour Race VENUE:Hinson Lake, Rockingham, North Carolina RULES: This event will be electronically timed.  All participants will be issued a bib/chip which must be worn at all times to guarantee that all completed laps and splits are recorded.  There will be a chute for runners only and if you will be taking a break, you will be asked to steer clear of the lap counting area. COURSE: The course is the 1.5032-mile inner loop that circles the lake. It is a USATF certified course with certification code NC14103DF.  The surface is sand/gravel-maintained trail through the woods. You will run over 16 small wooden foot bridges including a 300-foot bridge that crosses over the lake. The trail will be marked on race day and will use chem-lights at night. The 2025 Superhero 5K, Kids Fun Run & Walk, hosted by Owensboro Health Foundation and Owensboro Health Healthpark, is a community event designed to honor Superhero Cancer Survivors and raise funds for the Mitchell Memorial Cancer Center. The Friends of the Poor Walk is a nationwide signature event of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul.  This event is being held to raise awareness and funds supporting the local Conference of Our Saviour's in Cocoa Beach.    This is our 3rd Annual event and will be a 5K out and back run or walk from the Church parking lot onto Banana River Drive and nearby residential neighborhood.  Registration fee is $28.00 (plus fees) with a kids registration for ages Pre-K through 17 years old for $15.00 (plus fees).  We will have a free kids dash after the 5K is completed. Post-race refreshments will be available for participants.
