RELIF a nonprofit organization, in collaboration with the Next Step Counseling, LLC is proud to announce its 4th annual First Responders 5k run/walk. A fun-filled event for the entire family, celebrating the mental health and wellness of first responders. Held consecutively with National Law Enforcement Suicide Awareness Day, this signature event promotes a trifecta of mental health, physical wellness and community policing. Guests can expect live entertainment, a mental health fair, and expert fitness warm up. Event proceeds support training and counseling for first responders and their families.  Our event is rain or shine, and will only transition to virtual option if concerns of unsafe conditions arise. Everyday in East Africa, women and children walk an average of 5 kilometers to retrieve water for their families that is often unclean and unsafe for human use. Skylar's Run - Clean Water 5K event is focused on bringing awareness that Safe, Clean Water IS a solvable problem. Race headliner, Skylar Gwin, and his father, Paul, will be leading the wheelchair & stroller accessible "Walk & Roll" event as a testimony to the fact that EVERYONE can be part of the clean water solution, no matter their age or abilities.   All funds raised through this event are used to provide sustainable water filters for vulnerable families in Kenya. Run, walk, stroll, or dance at the E.D. Locke Public Library's 4th Annual 5K Run/Walk and Kids Dash. There are four ways that you can participate: Kids' Obstacle Dash @ 8:30 a.m. Children may register for a fun obstacle run down Milwaukee St.  Dash through bubbles, skip between cones, limbo, and more!  Each registered participant will receive a hat and medal. Join us for our 5th Annual Jingle Bell Jog and Walk!  Runners and walkers of all age levels are invited to participate in the 5K run, a 2-mile walk, or Kids Fun Run. Dress in your favorite red and green attire for some holiday fun. The run/walk will start and end at The Ingleside Hotel, running or walking through the Country Christmas Lights Trail and onto the Lake Country Trail. The 13th annual Swifty Swine 5K takes place on a scenic course during the weekend of Clinton's 59th Apple and Pork Festival. The Fort4Fitness Fall Festival is the year’s biggest community celebration of fitness in Downtown Fort Wayne! Every year, thousands of athletes train for and participate in the Fall Festival. The Saturday event features three race distances (4 Mile, 10K, and Half Marathon) to suit people of all ages and abilities. Participants are enthusiastically encouraged along the way by neighborhood cheer groups and live music performers, and they're awarded a finisher medal at the Finish Line at Parkview Field. Virtual options for the 4 Mile, 10K, and Half Marathon are open as well. These participants will complete their distances at any time or place and will receive a race shirt and finisher medal.

Top of Tamarack is where mental health meets mental strength, all for a good cause! This is an event unlike any other!   Participants run, hike, or bike up the mountain and soak up the epic views of Valley County! You can choose to tackle any distance along the service road leading up to the summit.  The maximum distance is 15 miles round trip with a full 2,900 foot elevation climb to the Top of Tamarack.  There is no DNF (did not finish) in this race.  Each mile post along your journey will be marked with a special token, reminding you that you have achieved a great distance and you are “mentally strong.”  Collect as many tokens as you can and then head back down the mountain to celebrate your achievement.  The first male and female to reach the top (for both biking and running) will be crowned King and Queen of the Mountain! The YMCA’s Color Splash Fun Run is a vibrant 1K and 5K experience designed for families, all ages, and all fitness levels! This exciting and unique community event invites participants to walk, jog, run, or stroll through the course while being “splashed” with an array of colorful powder at multiple stations along the way. The Wild Boar Challenge is an off road obstacle course designed to push participants through a series of challenges that will test both their speed and agility as they navigate through the course. This is THE LOCAL RACE, that is run by a local organization that will not only raise funds that stay in Iowa, but will also let the participants contribute to design of multiple obstacles. The Junction Jamboree Jog will continue to offer a 5K, 10K and 10-Miler.  The 10K and 10-Miler are out and back courses on the Firefly Trail.  The proceeds will go to improvement projects in Union Point, including the Southern Terminus of the Firefly Trail.   These are the final races in the 2026 Firefly Trail Race Series.

Come run into the sunset and enjoy the Georgia night with the Red Dirt Runners at the 2nd Annual "Rollin Into The Night" 6 Hour trail run. This is a completely free run.  You only pay in sweat and hopefully not tears.  Donations to help offset some of the cost are appreciated. The course is a 2-mile single track trail loop with plenty of trees, creek beds, and challenging short climbs.  There is approximately 250' of elevation gain per loop.  Thanks to Hurricane Helene, this year's course has been modified and is the same as the “Southern Chicken Fried 25/50K" course. 20th Annual 24-Hour Race VENUE:Hinson Lake, Rockingham, North Carolina RULES: This event will be electronically timed.  All participants will be issued a bib/chip which must be worn at all times to guarantee that all completed laps and splits are recorded.  There will be a chute for runners only and if you will be taking a break, you will be asked to steer clear of the lap counting area. COURSE: The course is the 1.5032-mile inner loop that circles the lake. It is a USATF certified course with certification code NC14103DF.  The surface is sand/gravel-maintained trail through the woods. You will run over 16 small wooden foot bridges including a 300-foot bridge that crosses over the lake. The trail will be marked on race day and will use chem-lights at night. PACERS: In an effort to prevent overcrowding on the trail, all pacers must be registered entrants.
