BIG SOUTH FORK TRAIL RACE TIME & PLACE: The 17.5 mile and 10k races start at 8:30 am (Eastern Daylight Time). Starts and finishes at the Bandy Creek Campground in the Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area. COURSE DESCRIPTION: This 17.5 Mile out-and-back, loop course starts and ends at the John Litton General Slavens Trailhead. The first 1.5 miles is paved and gravel, with the balance being a single track trail. Aid stations at (roughly) 3.5, 5, 12, and 14 miles. 10k course is a loop course consisting primarily of single track trail. Course closes 1:30 pm. This is a classic 5 mile trail race through the  beautiful rolling hills of Lincoln Parish Park.  This race is one distance only; 5 miles.  Put on in conjunction with LPP; this is a production of Get On A Trail Shreveport LLC.  ( The Former: Old School @ LPP guy) This race is happening on the day of a big park festival.  It'll  be a great day at the park with activities for everyone! The park will directly benefit from this race.   The race will be timed.  The race will start and finish down near the water by the concession pavilion.  It will include part or all of the lake loop and about 4 miles of trail.  If you're familiar with LPP; it will be the last 4 miles of trail...miles 6-9.   If you ran the 5 miler at The Old School; this will be a different section of trail!  Overall first place male and female winners will get a special award.   There will be refreshments served after the race. MuuvWell Hot Rod 24 Hour Ultra

The race takes place at the Bowling Green Hot Rods Baseball Park on Saturday, September 26, 2026. Runners have up to 24 hours to cover as many loops as they can on this .31-mile course (yep, just 3/10th of a mile) that follows the perimeter of the concourse inside the baseball park. Special activities will keep runners entertained through the night. Expect a fun party atmosphere that will help the time and the laps go by. Runners are allowed to sleep, eat, leave, and come back, and even flat-out stop running whenever they want to. We are back for our second year of this special and fun-filled event! The Frankfort Striders present MILES for MUSIC, benefitting the Frankfort Independent School XC Teams and Second Street School PTSA. We had such a great time this year, we decided to add a 6-hour event as well as our original 12-hour event! The 12-hour event will start again at 7AM and ending at 7PM. To be considered a finisher, you must complete one mile loop every hour for a total of 12 miles (you can do more if you wish...we know you will)! For the 6-hour event, you get to choose which hour you wish to start, as long as if you must complete 6 consecutive hours before 7PM (and complete at least one mile loop per hour)!

Sixth Annual A-7 Corsair II Memorial 5K Run/Walk (Virtual)

The first flight of the A-7 Corsair II took place 26 September 1965.  The airframe would go on to serve in every major conflict from Vietnam to Desert Storm. Utilized by the US Navy, US Air Force, US Air National Guard, Portuguese Air Force, Thai Air Force, and Hellenic Air Force, the Corsair II was finally retired from service in 2014.  To commemorate this aircraft's storied history and the sacrifice of those service members who flew and maintained the airframe throughout its 49 year history, the A-7 Corsair II Association (www.corsair2.us) is hosting its fifth annual virtual 5K run/walk. The 15th annual Wine at the Line Run/Walk is happening Saturday, September 27! Take part in this incredible event by running in the 5 mile, or running/walking in the 5K. Last year's event drew nearly 2,000 runners, walkers and spectators, and we're expecting even more in 2025! This leg is another ride through  scenic bike ride through Southern New Jersey    The ride will start and end at Farmers & Bankers Brewing .   After the ride join us at the brewery for your complimentary beer and some post ride fun.  This will be a semi supported ride.  We will have a marked route with signs and arrows to direct you.  The route will also be available for you to download.  We will also have several aide stations on course.  Limited SAG support will also be available.
