Bear Lake Tavern's 2nd Annual 5k Run/Walk for Brain Aneurysm Awareness Join us for a morning for fitness, fun and community all for a great cause. Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 26, 2026. Bear Lake Tavern is hosting it's 2nd annual 5K run/walk for brain aneurysm awareness. The race will kick off at 11:30am with packet pick up and on site registration starting at 10am up-until the race begins at 11:30am. This mostly  flat, scenic out and back course along Muskegon Lake is open to runners and walkers of every level. Brain aneurysms affect an estimated 1 in 50 people in U.S. and nearly 30,000 individuals each year suffer a rupture, which is often life threatening. By joining in this event, you are helping raise awareness and funds to support the Brain Aneurysm Foundation's mission of education, research, and support for those impacted.
