Join the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Ohio (OCAO) on Sunday, September 20, at the Dublin Community Recreation Center for the Strides for Hope 5K Run and Walk as we promote early detection of ovarian cancer and celebrate survivors. Our mission at OCAO is to promote early detection of ovarian cancer with advocacy, education, awareness, and public outreach to improve outcomes and help save lives. We also work to support women who have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer, as well as their family members. Your 5K registration includes a race t-shirt and finisher medal!

Online registration ends on Saturday, Sept. 20 at noon. Day of registration, 5k - $45; 10k - $50. Checks or via your phone with QR code.   The Silverton Runners Club and Oktoberfest are again teaming up to host the Oktoberfest 5k and 10 races. The races have a little something for every type of runner. Track runner? The start and finish is on the Kennedy High School track. Road runner? The course meanders through the hamlet of Mt. Angel. Trail runner? Parts of the course are on gravel. Like it flat? It mostly is. Like hills? We have a couple. Like a good party after? Mt. Angel Oktoberfest! Since 1984, the Reston Triathlon has been a staple in our community. It opens with a 1500-meter open water swim in Lake Audubon, followed by a 25-mile bike ride and a 10K run on local paths. The Olympic distance event has challenged athletes from around the country and has affectionately been called the Reston Triathlon World Championship. During the pandemic, the previous board worked tirelessly to keep the tradition alive. Unfortunately, in 2021, they announced they could no longer financially or logically sustain the Reston Triathlon. CORE Foundation, working closely with the previous board, is thrilled to revive the event and continue the legacy. The Reston Triathlon made its comeback debut on September 10, 2023! This year's race date is September 28, 2025. CORE Foundation is grateful for the loyal athletes and local community. The route is on the flat, paved city streets of Delphos and Stadium Park along the historic Miami-Erie Canal.  Along the 3.1 mile course you'll learn interesting facts about the waterway so you'll learn while you burn.  The race starts and ends in front of the firehouse located  on Second St with refreshments provided after you walk/run.  Stick around town for the "Under The Big Top" parade which begins at 2 pm.   Registration to guarantee a t-shirt ends on Sep 10th.  Race day registration and check in begins at 8 am. Whitewater has always been known for its charm and ideal location, nestled within the forest, lakes, prairies, and hills of the Kettle Moraine State Forest in southeastern Wisconsin. The Discover Whitewater Series race was initiated by the Greater Whitewater Committee, Inc. in September 2013. Thanks to the continued support and growing interest, the annual Discover Whitewater Series has proven to be a great success year after year. In thirteen years, the Discover Whitewater Series has been able to distribute $314,881 to local charities in efforts to build a stronger community. Staged out of Marsh Creek State Park, this race is located just west of Philadelphia, PA and minutes from the Turnpike. The time trial swim takes place in 500 acre Marsh Creek Lake and features a single loop, rectangular shaped swim course. The bike course is a beautiful, well paved, single loop 20k course that takes athletes through a mix of technical sections and long straightaways alongside trout streams and forests. The 5k run course is entirely within the park and has beautiful lake views and a good uphill at mile 1. The annual Raider Nation Triathlon - Aquabike - 5K run - 2 mile run/walk event is set for Sunday, September 21, 2025.  You can do it solo or as a team!  New this year...Aquabike (swim/bike) event! For solo participants there is a full and short sprint triathlon & Aquabike race option open to those ages 9 and up.  Relay options for the full and short sprint races as well. Don't forget the Kid's Triathlon for those ages 6-13 & a 100 yard Raider Dash for those 7 and under!! The TAM Trek is a trail race and fun run to raise money for the Trail Around Middlebury (TAM) in Middlebury, VT. This trail is a19-mile long footpath, encircling the village of Middlebury and linking several hundred acres of town land, conserved properties, schools, and other local landmarks. All distances start and finish at Wright Park in Middlebury, Vermont. The 19 mile race course travels the entire TAM through the towns of Middlebury, Cornwall, New Haven, and Weybridge, VT. The trail is scenic, rolling, and includes incredible views of the Green Mountains to the east and the Adirondacks to the west.  19-mile race departs at 7:30 AM. The 10K course is entirely on single-track trail through Wright Park and the Otter Creek Gorge Loop (trail maps available at www.maltvt.org), with around 400 feet of elevation gain and several fairly technical sections.  10k race departs at 9 AM. Steelman Racing Endless Summer Swim will be held on September 20th, 2026, at the Tohickon Boat Launch at Nockamixon State Park. This is the third and final race of the Steelman Racing Open Water Swim Series, and is the perfect way to end your summer swimming season in a fun and challenging race environment. Yellowstone Gateway 30K runners will know why “Yellowstone is more Valuable than Gold”! General Description: This race, renowned for its unique beauty, spans just over 18 miles, climbs 2,609 ft, and descends 2,366 ft. It starts at the 2024 MICHELIN Guide awarded Sage Lodge trails, with a 10-mile climb that steadily increases in steepness, followed by an exhilarating 8-mile downhill that gradually eases in gradient. The entire course is off-road, with no pavement in sight. Instead, participants traverse a mix of trails, gravel roads, USFS dirt roads, and scree-covered jeep paths. The upper elevations in Emigrant Gulch are an out and back, and the rest of the race is point to point. The initial miles take runners through the rolling grasslands of the Paradise Valley foothills, near the Yellowstone River. The purpose of the 9th Annual Emerson the Brave Stampede 5K Fun Run & Color Run is to raise vital funds and awareness for DIPG (diffuse intrinsic pontine glioma), DMG (diffuse midline glioma) and other pediatric brain cancers in honor of our forever 12-year old daughter, Emerson. Emerson battled DMG and radiation induced high grade glioma brain cancers for over 6 years before losing her battle in July 2024. Less than 2% of children diagnosed with DIPG/DMG survive 5 years post diagnosis. Emerson’s miracle survival was due to research and clinical trials supported by The ChadTough Defeat DIPG Foundation. Every year since Emerson’s diagnosis, our community has come together to raise money to help fund the amazing strides the doctors and researchers have made against this terrible disease. Have you been dreaming of running the Boston Marathon? Need to shave a few minutes off your qualifying time? Or maybe you're just looking for the perfect course to set a new PR? Whether Boston is your goal or not, the Bound for Boston Marathon & Half Marathon is for you. We're racing around the loop at Route 66 Park, and the course is a 1-mile super flat & super fast loop!  The Full Marathon is USATF Certified making it a Boston Qualifier! This event is uniquely designed for serious runners. We will have water and an electrolyte drink at the aid table. Participants are welcome to bring their own personalized aid to place on the aid tables, allowing you to grab exactly what you need each time you pass. Many runners even bring a cheer crew to help hand out fuel and keep the motivation high throughout the race. The Driathlon: a triathlon type event minus the swim plus the paddle! Team/Relay Division: 5K Canoe (PROVIDED), 20K Bike, 5K Run. Done as a two-person team or two-person relay.  TEAM, both partners will participate in all 3 events; canoe bike run.  RELAY, both partners will canoe, one partner will bike, and the other partner will run (or one person does both) when the biker is finished. Age Category is combined age of partners. Individual Kayak Division: 5K Paddle, 20K Bike, 5K Run.  Option of using your own kayak or we provide the kayak (different price points). All prices are per person. Doing the Team/Relay, each partner pays the registration fee.

The Sioux Falls Marathon, powered by Sanford Health and the Sioux Falls Sports Authority, features races for all levels of runners. Distances include the full marathon, half marathon, & 5K. The full & half races feature downtown Sioux Falls, iconic Falls Park (for full and half) and many of the city's finest parks as well as the bike trail system. A portion of the net proceeds from the Sioux Falls Marathon is donated to the Sanford Children's Miracle Network. The 2024 races raised more than $20,000 for children in our community.

Steelman Racing Endless Summer Swim will be held on September 20th, 2026, at the Tohickon Boat Launch at Nockamixon State Park. This is the third and final race of the Steelman Racing Open Water Swim Series, and is the perfect way to end your summer swimming season in a fun and challenging race environment. Swimmers will be taking the plunge and enjoying the calm, clear waters at Nockamixon State Park as they skim through the water in the1, 2 ,or 3 mile course options.  Awards are presented to the top overall male/female, top overall male/female/ co-ed relays, and three deep-in-age divisions from 13 – 80 years old.  After the race, all athletes will be treated to an awesome post-race party with tons of food and music.  This race has it all so don’t miss out on the Steelman Racing Endless Summer Swim.

Erie Duathlon in support of the Erie Cancer Wellness Center. The Erie Cancer Wellness Center seeks to support and comfort individuals and families who are facing the impact of cancer. The programs offered by ECWC are free of charge to anyone who is living with a cancer diagnosis, who is caring for someone with cancer, has a loved one with cancer or has experienced a cancer related loss.  ECWC welcomes all and strives to nurture and empower people living with cancer through their evidence-based healing classes, programs and services.
