Erie Duathlon in support of the Erie Cancer Wellness Center. The Erie Cancer Wellness Center seeks to support and comfort individuals and families who are facing the impact of cancer. The programs offered by ECWC are free of charge to anyone who is living with a cancer diagnosis, who is caring for someone with cancer, has a loved one with cancer or has experienced a cancer related loss.  ECWC welcomes all and strives to nurture and empower people living with cancer through their evidence-based healing classes, programs and services. The Sioux Falls Marathon, powered by Sanford Health and the Sioux Falls Sports Authority, features races for all levels of runners. Distances include the full marathon, half marathon, & 5K. The full & half races feature downtown Sioux Falls, iconic Falls Park (for full and half) and many of the city's finest parks as well as the bike trail system. A portion of the net proceeds from the Sioux Falls Marathon is donated to the Sanford Children's Miracle Network. The 2024 races raised more than $20,000 for children in our community.

Come join us for this challenging 9.3 Miles on the Nature and 50-Year Trails.  Your run begins with the Nature Trail, then to the Bridal Trail to  the 50-Year Trail (2.7 miles up) and turnaround at the gate to go back down and off to the Bridal Trail to the finish.  The 9.3 mile event is only open to runners and run walkers that can absolutely complete the race within 3 hours (9am). Staged out of Marsh Creek State Park, this race is located just west of Philadelphia, PA and minutes from the Turnpike. The time trial swim takes place in 500 acre Marsh Creek Lake and features a single loop, rectangular shaped swim course. The bike course is a beautiful, well paved, single loop 20k course that takes athletes through a mix of technical sections and long straightaways alongside trout streams and forests. The 5k run course is entirely within the park and has beautiful lake views and a good uphill at mile 1. The Chicago River Swim is the signature event of A Long Swim, a 501(c)3 charitable organization that raises funds for ALS collaborative research through Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine and local youth learn-to-swim programs. Since 1984, the Reston Triathlon has been a staple in our community. It opens with a 1500-meter open water swim in Lake Audubon, followed by a 25-mile bike ride and a 10K run on local paths. The Olympic distance event has challenged athletes from around the country and has affectionately been called the Reston Triathlon World Championship. During the pandemic, the previous board worked tirelessly to keep the tradition alive. Unfortunately, in 2021, they announced they could no longer financially or logically sustain the Reston Triathlon. CORE Foundation, working closely with the previous board, is thrilled to revive the event and continue the legacy. The Reston Triathlon made its comeback debut on September 10, 2023! This year's race date is September 28, 2025. CORE Foundation is grateful for the loyal athletes and local community. Whitewater has always been known for its charm and ideal location, nestled within the forest, lakes, prairies, and hills of the Kettle Moraine State Forest in southeastern Wisconsin. The Discover Whitewater Series race was initiated by the Greater Whitewater Committee, Inc. in September 2013. Thanks to the continued support and growing interest, the annual Discover Whitewater Series has proven to be a great success year after year. In thirteen years, the Discover Whitewater Series has been able to distribute $314,881 to local charities in efforts to build a stronger community. Steelman Racing Endless Summer Swim will be held on September 20th, 2026, at the Tohickon Boat Launch at Nockamixon State Park. This is the third and final race of the Steelman Racing Open Water Swim Series, and is the perfect way to end your summer swimming season in a fun and challenging race environment. Swimmers will be taking the plunge and enjoying the calm, clear waters at Nockamixon State Park as they skim through the water in the1, 2 ,or 3 mile course options.  Awards are presented to the top overall male/female, top overall male/female/ co-ed relays, and three deep-in-age divisions from 13 – 80 years old.  After the race, all athletes will be treated to an awesome post-race party with tons of food and music.  This race has it all so don’t miss out on the Steelman Racing Endless Summer Swim.

Come and run or walk our Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K races in peaceful Quilcene on the beautiful Olympic Peninsula! The surroundings include woodlands, water, and mountains. All race proceeds benefit Quilcene-Brinnon Dollars for Scholars, which provides scholarships to high school seniors, recent graduates, and teachers to assist with their post-secondary/continuing education. All Half Marathon, 10K and 5K events are USATF Certified and Sanctioned. Join the Ovarian Cancer Alliance of Ohio (OCAO) on Sunday, September 20, at the Dublin Community Recreation Center for the Strides for Hope 5K Run and Walk as we promote early detection of ovarian cancer and celebrate survivors. Our mission at OCAO is to promote early detection of ovarian cancer with advocacy, education, awareness, and public outreach to improve outcomes and help save lives. We also work to support women who have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer, as well as their family members. Your 5K registration includes a race t-shirt and finisher medal!

The route is on the flat, paved city streets of Delphos and Stadium Park along the historic Miami-Erie Canal.  Along the 3.1 mile course you'll learn interesting facts about the waterway so you'll learn while you burn.  The race starts and ends in front of the firehouse located  on Second St with refreshments provided after you walk/run.  Stick around town for the "Under The Big Top" parade which begins at 2 pm.   Registration to guarantee a t-shirt ends on Sep 10th.  Race day registration and check in begins at 8 am. You have the option at registration for the t-shirt option or no t-shirt which is cheaper. Awards of the much coveted Official Canal Days 5K mug to the top 3 finishers in each age bracket and a first place award to the fastest male and female to cross the finish line.

Staff Sergeant Christopher Slutman was not only a loving husband, father, son and brother but he was also a FDNY Firefighter. Sadly, while serving in the Marines, he was killed by a roadside bomb in Afghanistan. Chris was an avid runner with his wife Shannon.  Join us in honoring this American HERO by running or walking in his honor. All funds from the event will be donated to the Tunnel to Towers Foundation which supports the families of fallen or catastrophically injured military and first responders and the Global War on Terrorism Memorial Foundation which is building a memorial to honor our heroes on the National Mall.

Join AdventHealth Waterman Foundation for our in-person or virtual Shades of Hope 5K as we celebrate the brave individuals in our community battling cancer, survivors who have won their fight, and those who shine on through their loved ones.   AdventHealth Waterman Foundation has created a celebration for men and women to support cancer survivors and those currently battling cancer while spreading awareness in North Lake and South Sumter Counties and beyond. The community has rallied around cancer initiatives for over 22 years, raising awareness and support for cancer care.
