Fun Fourth Freedom Run is kicking off a full day of festivities in Downtown Greensboro on Saturday July 4th, 2026. There truly is an event distance for any and everyone!10K - 5K - 1 mile fun run/walk.  All events include a shirt! NO EXCUSES TO MISS OUT! Participants can enjoy post run celebrations in beautiful Center City Park with music, libations (for those 21+) and more. Stay downtown post-race for more Live Music and Fun Fourth Festival Fun!

Come join us the morning of July 4th to kick off your Independence Day festivities with a fun 5K or 10K and Free Kiddie Run. This run/walk is open to all abilities, from the very competitive to the hobby jogger to the walker. Proceeds from the event support the YMCA Partner of Youth Financial Scholarship program. Packet pickup/on-site registration is July 3 from NOON to 7:00 PM at See Dick Run. Limited packet pickup race morning from 6:30 to 7:45 at See Dick Run. 5K/10K races start at 8:00 AM.  Kiddie Run:A fun run designed for our youngest participants! Younger children will enjoy a short run in the grass, while older kids will take on a ¼-mile or ½-mile run along a portion of the official race route. A great way for kids to experience the excitement of race day!

Part of the 2026 RUNDUSKY Race Series! The ninth annual Boy with the Boot 5k will return in 2026! This year's route will start and finish at the Boy with the Boot statue in historic Washington Park. The course will utilize the waterfront Sandusky Bay Pathway for over half of the 3.1 miles. $28 Registration fee includes a Dri-fit t-shirt and medal. Race shirts only guaranteed to those preregistered by Sunday, June 21, 2026.

Join us on July 4th for a scenic 5K race through rolling hills with stunning view of the Blue Ridge Mountains. This out-and-back course takes you along Main Street, showcasing the charm of Stanardsville and its beautiful surroundings. The Thousand Island Park 5K, or TIP5K, is a memorial footrace to honor the memory of General TJ "Demon" Costello, who served as a fighter pilot in the United States Air Force. This race started at a family reunion in 2013 and has grown to include the local community of TI Park. It's a small, family-oriented race that welcomes all levels of participation. Walkers and strollers are welcomed! Although, be advised that the course covers dirt roads, grassy lawns, and one trail. Also, the route will be poorly marked, open to traffic, and the timing crew will consist of a couple of teenagers with an iPhone. No timing chips here! So, your official time will likely be wrong, if it's recorded at all. However, I can guarantee a great scenic run, good times and camaraderie, and maybe a cold drink or two at the finish line.

A 5k run and Kids Fun Run through the beautiful streets of Glen Rock.  Athletes will enjoy running this community event on July 4th prior to the start of the parade and then get to stick around to enjoy the parade itself.   Proceeds go to benefit G.R.A.C.E.  An organization set up after 911 to provide assistance to family members of those who died in the terrorist attacks.  Today, G.R.A.C.E. continues its hard work by maintaining the 911 Memorial in town, and providing scholarship funds to High School Seniors in memory of Glen Rock's eleven victims.

It's time for Paxton's annual 5K run! Now with electronic signup AND timing! Our race will benefit the Coins for Kids Masonic charity. So come out and run, bring some change for the bucket, and let's have a great race day! We have some exciting changes this year. Including our all electronic signup and timing, we are going to be able to filter out race results by gender and age group, so everyone can see where they stack up! Registration will be $35 for early bird registration before May 1st and $40 after May 1st up until race day, July 4th. Race day registration starts at 7:00 AM at Pells Park in Paxton, with the race starting at 8:00. The cutoff to get a t-shirt will be registration by June 19th. The Firecracker 10K starts on Madison's hilltop with views of the Ohio River before running down Hanging Rock Hill.  You finish downtown for post-race entertainment and awards. 50 miles from Louisville, 70 miles from Indianapolis & Cincinnati.

This is a 5.5K Run/Walk. It is an RDFI Chip timed Race that runs counterclockwise around Loon Lake for 3.4 miles with a few hills, a water stop half way and many scenic Lake views. The race proceeds/donations help our not for profit Association to keep Loon Lake beautiful and  "A fun, safe, and scenic lake community". The 2025 Race will be a timed race with race results posted on-line. REMINDER: PLEASE FOR THE SAFETY OF PARTICIPANTS; NO DOGS, BIKES, SKATES ETC. Every Sole Counts is a newly created organization whose mission is to empower Athletes with Special Needs by providing access to high-qualityrunning gear that meets their individual needs. Easy, mostly flat asphalt course utilizing Batesville Parks paved trail system.  The race kicks off at Liberty Park, winds through The Plex and Bill Gillespie Soccer Park toward the YMCA, passes back by Liberty Park, continues through the scenic Brum Woods, and finishes right where it started at Liberty Park. We are hosting a 50/50 split the pot raffle with proceeds benefiting Every Sole Counts. We encourage everyone to dress patriotically in celebration of America's 250 years!

The 5K this year will start and end at the American Legion in Cloverdale. Inviting everyone to be part of a community event that kicks off the day. The Independence Day celebration in Topeka, Indiana is a grand tradition.  Each year, the tiny town comes alive with a fireworks display, a parade, basketball and softball tournaments, food vendors, kids games and watermelon eating competition and much more!  But before the fireworks blast off or kids race to pick up candy at the parade, the day begins with the Road Run.  Begun in 1974 the road run is the oldest consecutively run race in the state.  This year's race, the 53rd annual, will take place on Saturday July 4th at the Topeka East Park located at 510 E Lake Street. The road run has two events for kids and adults.  We will kick things off at 8:15 a.m. with a One-Mile Fun Run for kids 13 and under.  It’s a great opportunity for kids to try something new and get active.  Medals will be awarded to the top three boys and girls.  At 8:30, the 5K race, open to all ages, will begin at the park and wind its way through the streets of Topeka.  Prizes will be awarded to the top three
