As a partner in the community, PRC helps to meet neighbors’ basic needs such as food, shelter, and clothing assistance services. In addition, PRC provides job, computer, and literacy training programs and art empowerment classes to help neighbors in need here in DuPage County. The Mills Miles is a one-time event to stand in for TrailsROC Last Runner Standing. Some proceeds from the race will be donated to TrailsROC to support their trail maintenance work. The basic format of the race will be the same. Each 1-mile loop will be a mass start with a pre-determined time cutoff. If you miss the time cutoff, you are out. There will be 25 laps with a time cutoff and the 26th lap will be an all-out race. For the final rankings runners get credit for any lap they complete, even if it is after the cutoff time.

The Fallen Warrior Foundation is deeply honored to host the 8th annual Sgt David Hierholzer Memorial Day 50k. On Memorial Day, we will embark together as a unit to run the 32-ish miles across Marshall County—from the north county line to the south county line. The group typically averages around 10-10:30 minutes per mile pace stopping every 3-5 miles to regroup. Please understand this run is not a race. It is a journey. It is a journey to honor and remember those who have sacrificed everything to purchase and protect our freedom. Seven years ago, a single man set out to honor his best friend who was killed in action. The journey to remember on foot began to resonate with many across the county. Just as one man’s sacrifice saved many, one person’s desire to never forget that sacrifice created a rippling effect. The Wings of Mercy Runway 5K Run / Competitive Walk and 1 Mile Fun Run / Walk will be a twilight race along the Runway and Taxiways of the Linden Price's Airport. This unique 5k race benefits Wings of Mercy East Michigan, Inc. Wings of Mercy East Michigan, Inc. is a nonprofit organization that coordinates free flights to distant medical centers for individuals with limited financial resources.  Using general aviation aircraft and volunteer pilots, they serve recipients on flights within approximately 600 miles of Eastern Michigan. A Community 5K for Every Pace A day of movement, connection, and community impact! The Northshore Spring 5K for Schools is proudly presented and hosted by the Northshore Schools Foundation, bringing our community together in support of local students and schools. Taking place in June 2027, this inclusive event welcomes participants of all ages and abilities! You can run the full 5K, walk with friends, strolling with a stroller, or cheer from the sidelines. What to Expect The scenic 5K course starts and ends on the University of Washington Bothell campus, with the race route running along the Sammamish River Trail.
