Wiedemann Mile

Don’t miss Race Day Weekend at the Wiedemann Brewery in the always-friendly confines of downtown St. Bernard!The Wiedemann Mile is a challenging test of strategic speed and pacing run over the bed of the historic Miami & Erie Canal. This rolling cross-country course is mostly flat, with a couple of short-but-challenging hills near the midpoint. The event will take place rain or shine. A free kids fun run will follow the main event.The one-mile course begins and ends in the Bohemian Beer Garden of the historic Wiedemann Brewery, where the original canal wall still stands more than 100 years after commercial traffic was shut down. The top male and female runners will win prize money in the form of brass Wiedemann’s “Good Luck” beer tokens and other valuable merchandise.
