The 5K this year will start and end at the American Legion in Cloverdale. Inviting everyone to be part of a community event that kicks off the day. Early registration by June 15th will include a free T-shirt, showing appreciation for your support. Prizes will be awarded to the top male, female, and child under 18, celebrating our community's achievements.

Join us at the Aspiria Campus near 119th and Nall in Overland Park for this annual family favorite! The race will feature a fast course, large finisher medals, post event snacks and much more! Participants will compete for age group and overall awards! Kick off your holiday weekend at the Stars & Stripes 5K in Overland Park!

The Firecracker 10K starts on Madison's hilltop with views of the Ohio River before running down Hanging Rock Hill.  You finish downtown for post-race entertainment and awards. 50 miles from Louisville, 70 miles from Indianapolis & Cincinnati.

Mostly flat, certified 5K course through scenic Greendale.

Come join the Hampton Community in Hampton Community Park (3101 McCully Road, Allison Park, PA.) for the 20th Annual Hampton Rotary Club Firecracker 5K on Saturday, July 4, 2026, 8:30 am, on the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. This is a Hampton tradition and a great Family event that offers a challenging course for runners followed by a new shorter course for walkers who want to join us but would rather avoid the Middle School hill. There will be medals for runners in a number of age groups for children as well as adult men and women. Tech style race shirts will be guaranteed to all registrants up until the order deadline but we'll order enough to cover a few extra too. And of course, we'll send an email near the t-shirt deadline to all past participants! The Wildflower Run is back for its 4th year! 2 days and 4 races to choose from! These awesome 10K, 22K, 1K Kids' Race and 50K trail races are coming July 4th & 5th, 2026 at Grand Targhee.  The Saturday (July 4th) 50k will take you along Targhee's world-famous trails and high-elevation ridgelines, providing challenge and breathtaking views along the way. The Sunday (July 5th) 10K and 22K courses will lead up Peaked Mountain with jaw dropping views of the Tetons and across amazing fields of wildflowers while cruising between the aspen glades that dot the mountainside. Join us for a race day to kick off the 4th of July holiday in Milton, Wisconsin!  Sponsored by the Milton Optimist Club, you can choose from a 10k run, a 5k walk, or a 1 mile run. Proceeds stay local to help sponsor youth-centered school and community projects! “All Roads Lead to Wanderoos 5k Run/Walk”; Sponsored by the Wanderoos Area Community Club, Peer’s Bar and the UW Wanderoos Bar Grille. What is a Tunnel To Towers Run & Walk? The Tunnel to Towers Run & Walk Series was created to honor the heroic life and death of Stephen Siller, a New York City firefighter (FDNY) who lost his life on September 11,2001 after strapping on his gear and running through the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers. Honor all of those who lost their lives on September 11,2001 and support our first responders and military who make extraordinary sacrifices in the line of duty! 5K  and ~1 mile fun run/walk! This family-friendly, dog-friendly event strives to raise money for Northeast Iowa Community Action Corporation (NEICAC) and the Kids Lunch Club program. The race will begin at 8:00am and will start and end at Pulpit Rock Brewing Co. The 5K will be timed by True Time Racing Services. The 1 mile is not timed. T-shirt and bib pickup will be at Pulpit Rock Brewing Co. from 5-8pm on Friday, July 3 and starting at 7am on Saturday, July 4.

The Waukee Freedom 5K is a community-wide 4th of July event. All races start and finish at Lutheran Church of Hope Waukee. This is the 43rd annual event and the only fundraiser for Troop 178. Programs within Scouting America emphasize learning, personal growth, respect, and—most importantly—service to others. Proceeds from this event help Scouts reach their Scouting goals and support their service to the people of Waukee and surrounding communities. Troop 178 is proud to be more than 30 Scouts strong this year. Register by June 22nd to receive a great commemorative t-shirt!

Celebrate the 4th of July with the Firecracker 5K/10K at the Riverside Park in Bryson City, NC. The race is followed by the Freedom Festival. There's fun for the whole family with events all day, and fireworks at night. You can add whitewater rafting, a train ride, or waterfall hikes. Make a big holiday in a small town.  The Rotary Club of Bryson City hosts the 37th Annual 5K with a course that starts and finishes in the historic town of Bryson City,  and meanders through Deep Creek Community, the gateway to the Great Smoky Mountain National Park.    Register by June 10th to receive a commemorative race shirt. The Lakefest Mike Hill 10k began in 1976.  Mike Hill, HK Cooper, and Bill Magruder wanted a race included in the bicentennial celebration.  Mike encouraged businesses and people throughout the community to get involved in the race.  It was known as the Lakefest 10k until Mike's untimely passing in 2007.  The race was then changed to the Lakefest Mike Hill 10k.  Since then, a 5k has been added.

Ridge Runners Racing, in partnership with Big Rex Fireworks, proudly presents Big Rex's Bottle Rocket 5K and Little Rex’s Kids Fun Run (.76 mile). This event will take place on Saturday July 4, 2026 in cooperation with the city of Dry Ridge, Kentucky.  Little Rex’s Kids Fun Run (.76 mile) will start at 8:30 AM followed by Big Rex’s Bottle Rocket 5K at 9:00 AM. The race starts at 7AM sharp.  Course closes at 8:30AM (18:00/mile) The race originated in 1985 as the Intercity 10K. After two years the race was changed to a 5 mile run. For years, the 5 mile run was a little longer than 5 miles. In 1993, the Lake Run club began organizing the event and made the 5 mile course accurate. It's time for Paxton's annual 5K run! Now with electronic signup AND timing! Our race will benefit the Coins for Kids Masonic charity. So come out and run, bring some change for the bucket, and let's have a great race day! We have some exciting changes this year. Including our all electronic signup and timing, we are going to be able to filter out race results by gender and age group, so everyone can see where they stack up! Registration will be $35 for early bird registration before May 1st and $40 after May 1st up until race day, July 4th. Race day registration starts at 7:00 AM at Pells Park in Paxton, with the race starting at 8:00. The cutoff to get a t-shirt will be registration by June 19th.
