The LL5K, hosted by Sweetheart City Racing is scheduled to begin at Grimm Brothers Brewhouse on July 4th at 8:00 am. We welcome runners and walkers, and all abilities! We are proud to support Health4Heroes with the 2024 Loveland Liberty 5K. Please check out their website using the link below. There is a cash purse for the top three males and females in the overall and masters divisions. The Elite corral/wave will start at 8:45m. If you can run a 5K under 24 min for men, under 26 min for women, sign up and run with the Elites.  Each participant 21 and over can receive a BOGO beer from Grimm Brothers Brewhouse. Finish line food will be breakfast burritos from El Cielo. Make sure you have your ID if you want an alcoholic beverage. If you registered after the guaranteed shirt deadline, we will have any leftover shirts and past race shirts available AFTER the race. Volunteers will instruct you on how to get your shirt at packet pickup.

Kick off your Independence Day weekend at the patriotic Carmel Freedom Run 4.5-mile and 1.5-miler! Raceday is Friday, July 4th in the beautiful city of Carmel, IN! NEW FOR 2025, we are excited to host the event at Upland Brewing and Pies & Pints in Clay Terrace! Join the fun with your friends and family at this classic run/walk, then enjoy some post-race refreshments! Welcome to the 44th annual July 4th Fun Run, Palmer Lake Elementary's largest fundraiser, and fastest race. This year's Independence Day is sure to go out with a bang!  We're continuing our newest tradition of both in-person and virtual race registration for our friends and neighbors who choose to celebrate from afar. The course runs from the south end of Palmer Lake to Monument via the Santa Fe Trail. Run, jog, walk, skip, or parade along the trail while enjoying beautiful views of the front range, encouraging signs and an all around good time. Did we mention the route is a slight downhill, too?!? Each registration fee goes toward supporting education in Palmer Lake.

The Downtown Mile is presented by Team Run Flagstaff.  In advance of the annual 4th of July parade, 6 waves of competitors will cover an iconic Mile on the actual parade route. The two-loop course heads north San Francisco, west on Cherry, south on Beaver, and west on Aspen to repeat the loop and finish.  The race includes six Mile events categories: Masters Women and Masters Men (40+), Citizen Men and Women (all ages), Elite Men and Women (competing for a cash purse) and the half-mile (one loop) highlight- the Kids Race. In addition to the Elite prizes, Awards will be presented for Overall and Age Group top finishers in each category.

Welcome to the 45th Annual Peavine Falls Run. This iconic event is a 4th of July tradition in Central Alabama. NEA has been missing a 4th of July race for years now.   In this country we have Freedom, we have freedom to Run and we have the freedom to run a July 4th race and finish with pride.  We will be hosting the Freedom Finishers 5K at Paragould's Rotary Park on July 4th starting at 7:30AM.  The course will be an out and back on the 8 mile ditch trail.  Entry fee is $30 for non-military members 16 and older. Those not old enough to drive yet are discounted to $15. Service members (Military, Police, and Fire) can use coupon code "Military" to get $10 off the entry fee. Please have your military ID available at check-in on race morning to receive your bib. T-shirt cutoff is 6/22 so please register early to insure you get one. Extras are first come, first serve until we run out. Come out and enjoy the run and create a new tradition. Runners, Walkers, Strollers and 4-legged friends are all welcome to participate.

Pop off on this 4th of July tradition! **SHIRT ORDER DEADLINE: 06/24/2025** The race will start in the pool parking lot and follow a paved loop through downtown Kellogg, climbing up into Wardner, along the trail of the Cd'As, and finishing at the Oddfellows picnic area east of the pool near the ball field. The route will be marked, either with chalk--look down!--or other signage. You can access the full route through Map My Run. There will be no street closures. The sidewalks in Kellogg are not in the best shape, so running in the street will be safer at times. The proper runners' etiquette is to run against the flow of traffic whenever possible. Come take part in a Cambridge tradition, the 2026 Firecracker Kids Triathlon will be held on Saturday, July 4, 2026 at the Robbins Family YMCA (201 Talbot Avenue, Cambridge, MD 21613). This annual event starts at 8am and includes athletes in the 6-7 year old, 8-9 year old, 10-11 year old, 12-13 year old and 14-15 age groups. With a 25 yard (6-7 yoa), 50 yard (8-9 yoa), 100 yard (10-11 yoa), 150 yard (12-13 yoa) and 200 yard (14-15 yoa) pool swim where flotation devices are allowed. All athletes will complete a 2-mile bike ride that also allows for training wheels for your athlete in training! Cap it off with either a .6 mile (6 - 9 age groups) or 1 mile (10 -15 age groups) run. This event is sure to be a MUST DO for your budding triathlete.  With the start of the race at 8am and an expected conclusion time of 11 am, this is a great way to kick off the holiday weekend. And as always, the Firecracker Kids Triathlon is USA Triathlon sanctioned event!

2026 is the 21st Annual run of the Idaho Falls FireKracker 5k, AND it is happing on the 250th Anniversary of America's Independence! We hope this year is our biggest and most special yet!  Profits from this event are donated to the Idaho Falls Military Affairs Committee.

The Buhl Fun Run, also known as the Sagebrush Days Run and Walk, will be held Independence Day, July 4 at 8 AM in Buhl. The race starts and ends at the Furniture Room parking lot located at 1104 Main Street. Registration begins at 7AM for the 10K run, 5K run and 5K walk. Awards are given to the top three males and females, the male and female in each age group and the overall winners.

The 6th Annual Bill Bone 5K is an Evening Race on July 4th starting at 7:00pm. The Race raises money for the Wounded Veterans Relief Fund and is known as a “Run to the Fun” because it finishes in Downtown West Palm Beach as part of the 4th on Flagler Celebration festivities.   After the race, runners and friends are in the best spot to stay and participate in the 4th on Flagler Celebration by taking advantage of our "All You Can Eat" refreshments, which include hot dogs, watermelon, chips, cookies, and lemonade until 8:30pm.There is also free entertainment culminating with an epic display of fireworks and music over the Intracoastal Waterway starting at 9:09pm. Every registered runner receives an awesome race shirt, a custom-made finisher medal, hot dogs and watermelon, and a chance to win your choice of some really cool raffle prizes. The 40th annual FREEDOM SPRINGS TRIATHLON  will be held at the beautiful Blue Springs Recreation Park, 5461 Blue Springs Road in Marianna, Florida on July 4th, 2026.   This is a sprint triathlon: 400 meter swim, 10 mile bike, and 5K run. This race is great for first-time triathletes, beginners and 'all-kinds-of-bikes" riders.  SWIM (0.25 mile/ 400 meters) takes place in spring water (68F, wetsuits are allowed). BIKE (10 miles) is a fast, fun, out and back ride. RUN (5K = 3.1mile) starts on a road and leads onto a fun, clay road.   The race sells out and registration may close earlier than expected.
