A 1-mile kid's run and an approximately 3K for grown-ups.  The grown-up race begins as soon as the kids are done, approximately 10:15.  The race is on city park sidewalks, trails, and includes one HUGE hill in beautiful Mingus Park.  We have organized fireworks that evening for all participants!

The Hooked on Lake Holcombe 5K Fun Run, organized by Lifebridge Holcombe UMC, takes place in the beautiful Lake Holcombe, Wisconsin resort area. The 5K run/walk route is mostly flat and goes through Holcombe, with road and trail terrain.  This is more than just a 5K run/walk!  Our event will have a 90 yard dash for the kids. Food and beverages will be available.  After the run, you can check out the many other attractions that the Lake Holcombe resort area has to offer, such as camping, restaurants, bars, hiking trails, kayaking, canoeing, boating and fishing!  Participants of the 5K run/walk will receive a free Hooked on Lake Holcombe 5K Fun Run t-shirt. The Wildflower Run is back for its 4th year! 2 days and 4 races to choose from! These awesome 10K, 22K, 1K Kids' Race and 50K trail races are coming July 4th & 5th, 2026 at Grand Targhee.  The Saturday (July 4th) 50k will take you along Targhee's world-famous trails and high-elevation ridgelines, providing challenge and breathtaking views along the way. The Sunday (July 5th) 10K and 22K courses will lead up Peaked Mountain with jaw dropping views of the Tetons and across amazing fields of wildflowers while cruising between the aspen glades that dot the mountainside. Join us for a race day to kick off the 4th of July holiday in Milton, Wisconsin!  Sponsored by the Milton Optimist Club, you can choose from a 10k run, a 5k walk, or a 1 mile run. Proceeds stay local to help sponsor youth-centered school and community projects! “All Roads Lead to Wanderoos 5k Run/Walk”; Sponsored by the Wanderoos Area Community Club, Peer’s Bar and the UW Wanderoos Bar Grille. Funds raised will help support emergency needs of people in the Wanderoos area.  The 5k starts at 8:00am and will follow up with an award ceremony at about 9:00am.  This 5k is the kick off event for a full day of celebration complete with a live parade, a bean bag tournament, kids games and much more!  After the parade, enjoy a chicken dinner and other concessions, a street dance and one of the best fireworks displays around. Ripley, WV is the home of America’s Largest Small-Town 4th of July Celebration.  For 28 years, the Main Street Firecracker race has been a part of this celebration kicking off immediately before the Grand Parade.This year we have rebranded to the Gene Groves Memorial Firecracker 2-miler, to celebrate the life of the race’s founder and main supporter.  For 25 years, Gene and his family have celebrated the runners in our community, volunteering hours and resources to make this fast, mostly flat 2-mile course along the city streets a centerpiece of our patriotic celebrations.  Overall male and female runners will receive trophies and a $100 cash prize.  Top three finishers in each age bracket will receive medals.  There will be special recognitions for the oldest  and youngest runners, most patriotic, best dressed, and farthest travelled.

Come join the Hampton Community in Hampton Community Park (3101 McCully Road, Allison Park, PA.) for the 20th Annual Hampton Rotary Club Firecracker 5K on Saturday, July 4, 2026, 8:30 am, on the 250th Anniversary of the Declaration of Independence. This is a Hampton tradition and a great Family event that offers a challenging course for runners followed by a new shorter course for walkers who want to join us but would rather avoid the Middle School hill. There will be medals for runners in a number of age groups for children as well as adult men and women. Tech style race shirts will be guaranteed to all registrants up until the order deadline but we'll order enough to cover a few extra too. And of course, we'll send an email near the t-shirt deadline to all past participants! Celebrate America's birthday in the hometown of the first human on the Moon - Neil Armstrong. The race starts and finishes at the Auglaize County Fairgrounds, and winds it way through one of America's best small towns. All paved roads and mostly flat! 32nd Annual Star Spangled Spectacular 5K July 4, 2026 9:00 a.m. The event begins at 9:00 a.m. when over 1,000 runners take off in the area’s largest run/walk – the Freedom 5K . Spend this Independence Day at the Raintree 4th of July 5k, the second race of the 2026 The Great Eight Race Series. Green's Great Eight Race Series brings eight local 5k races together with the joint goal of raising money for nonprofits and charities in the City of Green. All proceeds go to First Tee of Akron. It's time for Paxton's annual 5K run! Now with electronic signup AND timing! Our race will benefit the Coins for Kids Masonic charity. So come out and run, bring some change for the bucket, and let's have a great race day! We have some exciting changes this year. Including our all electronic signup and timing, we are going to be able to filter out race results by gender and age group, so everyone can see where they stack up! Registration will be $35 for early bird registration before May 1st and $40 after May 1st up until race day, July 4th. Race day registration starts at 7:00 AM at Pells Park in Paxton, with the race starting at 8:00. The cutoff to get a t-shirt will be registration by June 19th. The course will remain the same as last year.

Join the Fayetteville Running Club for the 13th Annual Firecracker 4 miler and 1 mile fun run in the All American City! The course is designed as a historic tour of Downtown Fayetteville. Competitive runners, recreational runners, walkers, kids, strollers and dogs are all invited! Be sure to dress up in your favorite Red, White, and Blue running attire.The 1 Mile Fun Run is limited to 40 entrants. The Overbrook Community 5K Run & Walk will take place at the Overbrook Lake on Friday, July 4th starting at 8 a.m. *Park at the Overbrook baseball diamonds. The top three female runners and male runners in the 5K will receive medals and a prize. The funds raised from this event will go to Community Christian School in Overbrook. It has been such a huge blessing for my family and many others to have something like this in the community.
